Wizard: The exploration panel keeps me pure.

Chapter 41 Confidentiality Agreement

Ron's expression changed instantly as he watched Tuva rapidly approaching him from not far away.

His body flew backward suddenly, but it was clearly too late for him to react.

The twisted, red flesh drew closer, rapidly magnifying in his eyes, followed by waves of foul-smelling air that filled his nostrils.

As Ron watched the ever-growing ball of flesh before him, a massive fireball suddenly appeared in his hand, and the feathers on his back began to fall off, floating in the air and forming fiery feathers.

Secondary high-energy fireball, Fire Feather.

"boom!"

A huge explosion rang in his ears, and the opponent's body seemed to be frozen in place by the attack, hovering motionless in mid-air.

The flesh on its body was charred black, sizzling with blood that dripped onto the ground below, leaving patches of scorched yellow.

Taking this opportunity, Ron immediately flew backwards, not daring to linger for even a moment.

However, just a few seconds after he flew away, the ball of flesh slowly wriggled a few times, then immediately returned to its original state and chased after him.

Seeing this, Ron became ruthless and used the same trick again. A fireball suddenly ignited in his hand. However, this time the fireball he condensed was much larger than before.

The orange flames dyed the sky above red, and the heat wave bent the trees in the forest below.

He didn't have time to worry about any of that and sped up again, trying to leave the area.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.

A blood-red figure slowly flew out of the flames, and this time, even the previous superficial wounds were no longer visible.

Tuva Sog (The Keeper of the Secrets of "God")

Ron stopped running and simply stared at the large, blood-red ball of flesh, his eyes once again reflecting the information about it.

"Have the attributes changed again?"

He forced himself to calm down and thought of a way to break the deadlock.

Unfortunately, the guy opposite him didn't seem to have any intention of giving him any time. The flesh on the surface peeled off like a snake shedding its skin, and after wriggling for a while, it flew towards him again.

Ron just watched without making a move.

He was actually wondering if the other person really wanted to hurt him.

Sure enough, after the other person rushed in front of him, he immediately stopped and just stood there in front of him.

The two remained locked in a stalemate, neither making a move.

Ron realized he had fallen into a cognitive trap; he had always believed that the best way to keep a secret was to keep people from telling it.

So how can this be done?

The answer is obvious: the dead can't speak, so just kill him.

That's why he was thinking of running away as soon as possible. After all, if he were caught and things went exactly as he expected, he would be in real trouble.

But now, facing this life-or-death crisis, his mind is actually working even faster.

Suddenly a question popped into my head: why didn't this thing make a move before, but only when I was about to run away?

Looking at the Tuva lord who stood motionless in front of him, whose original appearance was no longer recognizable, Ron kept wondering what the other party wanted to do.

He quickly understood.

The fleshy mass in front of him writhed, and then a familiar face slowly appeared on it, closest to him.

It looked exactly like the city lord from before.

However, there was no skin on it, only muscles that beat like a heart.

Ron frowned as he looked at the object, trying to guess its intentions.

The face that had looked somewhat disgusting was now expressionless, and he was just staring at him silently, his eyes no longer showing the ferocity and ruthlessness they had before.

The two stared at each other for a while before the thing finally made a move:

"Confidentiality Agreement!"

He uttered those four words out of nowhere, and then spat out a scroll covered in saliva, with pieces of flesh and blood still stuck to the end.

Ron frowned even more as he looked at what the other person was holding in their mouth.

"Confidentiality Agreement!!"

Seeing that he did not move, another mouth appeared out of nowhere under the face of the Tuva city lord, and he repeated what he had just said in a more serious tone.

There's nothing we can do; circumstances dictate our actions.

Ron reluctantly took the scroll from the other's mouth, ignoring the sticky feeling on his hands, and immediately used the detection panel to check the information of the scroll in his hand:

[The Mysterious Confidentiality Agreement]

Rank: ???

[Pollution Level: ???]

[Evaluation: This is a contract from some mysterious being. Signing it will not bring you any benefits, but it might increase its "favorability" towards you.]

There are currently no available solutions to reduce the target contamination.

"This thing..."

Ron looked at the scroll in his hand, then glanced at the information on the panel, and a sense of resistance arose in his heart.

It's obviously not a legitimate agreement.

The feeling of resistance intensified when she recalled the enrollment contract she signed upon entering the Red Moon Tower.

"There are traps everywhere."

He couldn't help but sigh inwardly, but for the sake of his own life, he could only grit his teeth and accept it. As for the "favor from a certain mysterious being" mentioned on the panel, he didn't believe it at all.

After all, he hadn't forgotten those forty-five principles in the admissions handbook:

Equivalent exchange, the wizard's unchanging principle.

Unrolling the scroll, as expected, it was covered with dense writing. He didn't bother to examine it closely. A faint flame appeared on his finger, and Ron used his finger as a pen to sign his name at the end:

Ron Seraphim

After doing all this, he handed the item back to the Tuva in front of him.

The other person stuck out a long tongue from their mouth, curled it up gently, and swallowed the food back into their stomach.

Then, he saw the Tuva man's face disappear from the surface of the fleshy ball, which seemed to have been concealed by something and vanished from his sight.

If it weren't for the trees below proving what had just happened, Ron might have really thought nothing had occurred.

After staying in the same spot for a while, seeing that there was no further news, he turned and flew back in the direction he had come from with a somber expression.
