The next morning, Ron got up early, tidied himself up, and headed toward the Crimson Tower.

I didn't come here yesterday because my prospective mentor told me on the day I was supposed to, that I would take a day off, so that he could readjust to the feeling of alienation he had experienced after not being in the real world for two months.

Since it was a day to relax, today is naturally time to return to our daily routine.

After all, as a wizard, occasional indulgence is acceptable, but you cannot indulge all the time, otherwise the gaze of evil, corruption, and depravity will follow you closely.

After arriving at the Crimson Tower, Ron stood outside the tower and looked up at the red crystal ball at the top.

I started to wonder what this thing was.

Why do all the wizards in the Red Moon Tower hang a red crystal on their wizard towers? Although these things look different in shape, some are animal heads, and some are the shape of various plants, they are all red crystals.

He didn't understand what these things were for. When he first saw the tower, Ron had already checked the information about these things using his detection panel.

However, the result was just an ordinary crystal.

Just as he was lost in thought, wondering why a red crystal had been hung at the top of the tower, a familiar, alluring voice entered his ears:

"Hey, Ron, long time no see. I heard you were assassinated a few days ago? You look alright now, nothing serious, right?"

The voice was so familiar that Ron immediately recalled the appearance of the person who spoke it.

Looking in the direction from which the sound came, sure enough, a familiar figure was standing not far away, a faint smile on his face, his eyes slightly narrowed as he looked at him.

"Long time no see, Mr. Snow. Thank you very much for your concern. I'm fine."

Ron looked at the slightly narrowed peach blossom eyes on the man's face, a smile playing on his lips, and walked towards him.

This Mr. Snow is the one who guided you when you first came to the New Red Tower to report for duty.

He recalled that he and the other party's nephew seemed to have had a minor conflict at the beginning.

However, in retrospect, that little conflict was nothing.

Ron bowed slightly when he reached the man, and the man did the same; both bowed slightly in greeting.

Then, they walked together into the Crimson Tower, and as they walked, Snow asked:

"What were you looking at just now? You were so engrossed that I was practically right in front of you, and you still hadn't noticed me. You're usually such a meticulous person, what's gotten into you today?"

Ron listened to the other person's words, smiled faintly, and replied:

"I was wondering when exactly our Crimson Tower was built, and what the purpose of building so many wizard towers in the academy is. I got so engrossed in it before I knew it."

Hearing this answer, the man seemed to have expected it. He chuckled twice, then casually glanced at the passing crowd and said in a nonchalant tone:

"The history of our Crimson Tower is a long story. Let me think... it probably existed when the Dean founded the Crimson Moon Tower Academy. As for why the academy built so many wizard towers, it was naturally for the experiments and training of all of you. Otherwise, these things are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and expensive. Who would be willing to do such a losing business?"

Ron nodded slightly, agreeing with the other person's statement.

He had previously read about wizard towers in a book in the library. It was said that every formal wizard must have their own wizard tower in order to open up their path of cultivation. Otherwise, they would just stagnate like snails forever.

Although he didn't understand what secrets were hidden in this matter, he wasn't the type to pry into things and didn't have much desire to investigate things that piqued his curiosity.

Because he knew that some things couldn't be known simply by wanting to know them. In such a strange, polluted, and decadent world, knowing too much wasn't necessarily a good thing.

With that thought in mind, he didn't continue discussing the topic any further.

They changed the subject and continued chatting with the man beside her. This continued until they reached a certain floor of the Crimson Tower, where Snow bid farewell to Ron.

"I've arrived. You must be here today to see Lord Latour. I won't see you off. You should know that he likes to stay on the top floor and doesn't like to be disturbed."

"Okay, let's chat again next time."

Snow smiled and nodded, agreeing to his suggestion. Then he turned and walked toward a room on this floor, waving his right hand as he went.

Ron smiled and waved goodbye to the other person.

However, as he turned to go upstairs, the boy's face no longer held the relaxed and cheerful expression he had before; instead, it was filled with doubt and seriousness.

"Why is this guy so talkative today? And what a coincidence that we bumped into each other outside. Based on my previous observations, he shouldn't be the type to like chatting. This seems suspicious no matter how you look at it."

Ron kept muttering to himself, yes, he suspected that his meeting with Mr. Snow today was actually a carefully planned scam.

After all, as a proper wizard, whose daily routine would be so similar to yours?

And what a coincidence, just as I was standing outside in a daze, I happened to run into him.

No matter how I think about it, something seems strange about this.

However, he couldn't quite figure out what was so strange about it for the time being.

He walked up the spiral staircase to the room on the top floor, still unable to figure out what Mr. Snow's purpose was in approaching him today.

So I simply stopped thinking about it and kept it to myself.

Pushing open the door, I walked towards my teacher's laboratory. As soon as I entered, I saw the old man sitting in a rocking chair with his back to me, looking quite like a wise man.

The sound of the boy pushing open the door could not be hidden from Latour. In fact, they sensed the arrival of their cheap student as Ron approached the Crimson Tower.

She then stopped what she was doing, lay down on the chair, and waited for him to come in.

The old man had also witnessed the conversation between the boy and Snow in his wizard tower, but he didn't think it was a big deal.

"You've arrived?"

"???I am coming."
