Dark Eldar

471 Reputation System

I highly recommend "Dark Eldar"! Get straight to the exciting parts.

In the ancestral hall of Archer Village (131, 361), a sacred artifact (purple, attribute: mysterious, inaccessible to outsiders) is placed on the offering table. The artifact has a simple appearance and its material is unknown. Does it resemble a unique totem culture? Or does it look remarkably like an elven magical artifact?

Is this sacred artifact a replica? The artifact is surrounded by a magical protective shield, which is in a patrolling state. The shield is marked with totem emblems of primitive tribes and elf symbols, making it a combination of ancient ancestral and elf cultural attributes.

Loki judged: "This village most likely doesn't need to pay protection money to Leijin City." (Current status of Archer Village: Neutral, no faction.)

On the way into the village, Loki noticed a few details.

In the Archer Village square, Loki saw several teenagers learning ranged attacks. He also observed the conversations and behavior of the other ordinary villagers. Loki felt, "The Archer Village villagers are simple and honest, like an old village that has existed for a long time..."

Loki's intuition told him, "This ancient First Men's Shrine might be movable? Wherever Archer Village is relocated, the First Men's Shrine can move there too? Like a temple used for sacrifices. It must be some kind of ancient magic, or maybe I'm just guessing? After all, I'm no longer studying the mage profession, but I know that there are many high-level spells in the multiverse. For example, several high-level mages can form a spell array, quickly coordinate their positions, and chant spells together to create a powerful barrier array, specifically used to move castles, transport bases, and summon epic-level bosses to the battlefield."

"Young man, just sign in here whenever you want to learn a skill. Don't worry, we'll destroy it eventually. That's why the sign-in book only has one page. Once it's full, we'll burn it. Just consider it a skill you stole from the archer school!" The middle-aged man patiently explained to Loki while making tea.

"Alright, alright, I've checked in, Uncle!" Loki said, ready to check in. He had already decided that since he wasn't short of money, he would just learn the most expensive throwing skill!

"Wow! 10 gold coins! You're so generous, young man. Your name is Loki?" The uncle happily examined the sign-in book closely.

"Yes, sir. May I ask your name?" Loki asked politely.

"Oh, this? You can just call me Uncle, I'm just a nobody. I'll go and invite a master right away. Only a master is qualified to teach you a ranged skill worth 10 gold coins. Thank you for your contribution to our village. The mysterious reward is that Archer Village's reputation points will be maxed out. You can check the reputation system now." After saying that, Uncle excitedly ran out of the ancestral hall. He was going to invite the most respected teacher in their village.

Next to the registration table in the ancestral hall, there were various introductions to Archer Village and GG promotional brochures. Loki was bored while waiting, so he drank tea and flipped through the promotional brochures.

Archer Village was originally founded by an unnamed elven hero who was expelled from the elves for committing a mistake. To prove his innocence, he generously taught his skills to a certain NPC villager. However, the villagers were less gifted and slow to learn new things, so the unnamed elven archer had no choice but to break down the complex archery and firearms skills one by one. Even the most basic "Basic Throwing" skill was broken down into: 1. Retrieving the bullet; 2. Charging; 3. Aiming; 4. Locking on; 5. Upper arm driving forearm... ...

The reason the brochure is so detailed is probably to persuade heroes not to pay or to pay less of the "wish fee," to make them feel that Archer Village is the orthodox village, and to let visitors know that Archer Village teaches the authentic "improved skills" of the Elven race, and not others, so that the trainee heroes feel that they are getting great value for their money and that it is good quality at a low price.

"New recruit Loki, are you ready?" A deep voice came from the entrance of the shrine.

Loki looked closely!

"Wow, big brother, you must be the nameless elf archer described in the brochure!" Loki blurted out excitedly.

"Yes, that's right," the nameless elven archer replied, nimbly removing his helmet. (Common language, not Elvish; Elvish is an encrypted language.)

The nameless elven archer was about 40 years old (based on NPC ages), not quite 50 (based on NPC ages), roughly the same age as the middle-aged guide from before. However, elves have longer lifespans than humans, and considering the time calculation in Classic WoW, Loki wasn't entirely familiar with it, so he didn't know the elven archer's true age.

"Loki, let me introduce myself. I'm level 203, and I don't plan to level up anymore. How about that? You don't think your 10 gold was a waste, do you? I can easily carry you through any dungeon and speed up your leveling. It's just that I don't run gold farming groups anymore; I've found a new niche. Earning this 10 gold is just to build up my archer village, not for personal gain. After all, I didn't force you to give 10 gold. If you're like them, giving 3000 gold or less, I'll even show up and teach you skills," the nameless elf archer said earnestly. He must have been wronged, otherwise he wouldn't have explained so much.

Loki nodded in agreement. He was too embarrassed to ask about anything else related to the Classic version, because this nameless elf archer was the kind of hero who had made a mistake and was now atoning for it. He had been kicked out of the major elven guild and was now self-sufficient. He had even started a "study class" (a secret) in a small village for the first time, so Loki was too embarrassed to ask any more questions.

"Archer, I'm ready!" Loki said, adjusting his equipment with high spirits.

"Hmm, I like a clean-cut young man like you. 100,000 gold coins will cover more learning content accordingly. Let me think about it, let's make it 10,000 gold coins per day. Accommodation is free, you can stay here for 10 days. I'll teach you for 4 hours every morning, and the afternoon will be 4 hours for free practice. What do you think of this arrangement?" The nameless elf archer handed the learning program to Loki.

"Teacher, I've booked a hotel in the city. How about I run over to report every morning?" Loki didn't really want to stay in the village; he still wanted to go back to the city to rest.

"It's up to you. To be honest, the accommodations in the village are limited, and even a continuous supply of hot water at night is a problem. Since you're not short of money, then go back to Leijincheng. Remember to sign in at the ancestral hall sign-in book at 8 a.m. every morning! I'll be waiting for you here at that time (farewell)." After saying that, the nameless elf archer teacher teleported away.

After paying his tuition, Loki knew he couldn't stay any longer. (Secret; Non-Secret)

"A level 203 big shot, and an elf at that. Those 10 gold coins were definitely well spent!" Loki muttered to himself on the way back to town.
