Dark Eldar

45 Cyclops

A tall and mighty giant roamed the valley.

"No need to ask, it's the Mirror World! It must be from ancient times." Edward hadn't expected his exam venue to be here. (The Mirror World is part of the multiverse.)

Other intermediate-level magicians who took the exam ended up in the modern era, the distant future, or remained in their current location, awaiting the arrangements of "fate."

"You want me to kill a Titan? Could it be? That's too easy." Edward may have overestimated his abilities.

Following the sound of the giant's footsteps, Edward arrived before him—the Cyclops! He obtained the artifact "Eye of Fate" (Orange, Bound and Unique).

"It's a pity it's a mirror image. Even if I pick up the 'Eye of Fate,' I can't take it back. But it can be used here! Could it be that Loki's 'Mjolnir' also comes from the mirror world?" Edward III observed the giant "Cyclops."

High-level mages must possess the ability to think. Mages who possess "artifacts" must have extraordinary thinking abilities, so they can advance directly without taking an exam.

Edward III's suspicions were not without merit.

Kiklops's large eye takes up half of his head, and although he only has one eye, the eyeball moves quite quickly!

"His eyes must be his only weakness! Should we go back and check again? Advanced exams are definitely not as simple as just fighting!"

"Who cares, let's get the Eye of Fate first!" Edward was actually encouraging himself. If the Cyclops were really there, he probably wouldn't dare to launch an attack so easily.

"Time freezes!" Edward cast the spell. (No incantation required)

The Cyclops remained motionless; his body was too large to see Edward in the grass.

Seeing that the giant was under control, Edward prepared to strike his weak point—his "one-eyed" giant!

Edward nimbly took flight, ready to stab his eyes with his "Elven Staff"! (Elven Staff, Purple Max Level; Elven Custom-Made, Enchantment: Intelligence +600)

"It's you again! It's you again!!!" Kiklopp suddenly woke up!

He seized Edward with his giant hand. Edward was unable to move. Although it was a mirror image, Kiklops still possessed 20% of the original's combat power.

Edward was in great discomfort from being squeezed; to be honest, he hadn't encountered such a formidable opponent in a long time.

"Damn it, I underestimated him! He actually caught me!" Edward was temporarily unable to cast spells. The giant Cyclops was the illegitimate son of Moro King, and wielded divine power, making him immune to some magical damage. (Moro King, one of the Ancient Gods)

The advanced magic exams have no restrictions. They will not end as long as Edward III is alive!

With the stalemate ongoing, it seemed that the giant Cyclops wouldn't be able to kill Edward anytime soon. He shook his head impatiently, staring at Edward, hesitant to speak, as if he wanted to ask some questions.

"Little bug! Listen up! Have you heard of Loki, that human?" Kicrops asked, his words mumbled. (Common Language)

Edward was astonished!

"Why ask him?" Edward asked.

"I'm going out to kill him!"

"Do you have a grudge against him?" Edward pressed.

Edward could have escaped at that moment, but he was very interested in the questions the giant had posed.

"His hammer! Please, release me! I've been imprisoned here for far too long! Let him, let him release us!" Kiklops pleaded.

Edward understood: "Even if Cyclops dies, another 'Cyclops' will take his place. Perhaps the Cyclops really does want to be resurrected!"

"I can help you!" Edward III said loudly and solemnly.

"Do you... know him?" Kiklops asked, puzzled. His eyes darted around rapidly.

"Of course, he's also a mage from another world!"

"Another world?" Kiklops didn't quite understand the modern world.

"Then it's the same as your 'Kavanas' (Kavanas, the ancient holy land)! Please let me kill you! Get out of here safely! I promise I'll bring Loki with me!" Edward III tried to deceive the Cyclops.

"Alright, I promise you! You must keep your word! Please let me see Loki as soon as possible after I die!" After saying this, the giant Cyclops knelt on the ground and waited for "death," he was not afraid of "death."

"Thump!" Kiklops fell down with a loud thud.

The divine artifact, the "Eye of Destiny," has descended! Floating in mid-air, it awaits Edward's collection...
