Dark Eldar

During his boundless exploration of the soul, Loki inadvertently encounters Dark, the Dark Messenger.

"They've come here to join the fun too?" Loki didn't seem to care. After all, it's a free map; there are no restrictions, and it's everyone's freedom to come and go as they please.

The morning air in Yundar was crisp and clear. Just as dawn broke, Loki left the city again. He had important business to attend to today! He feared that the two dwarf brothers might undergo some further "changes"? "Ordinary professions" leveled up extremely slowly, sometimes remaining at level 1 for an entire lifetime! The dwarf guards' rapid "evolution" made Loki uneasy. He had never encountered anything like it before! (Ordinary professions: farmer, city guard, merchant, cook, maid, guard, postman, waiter, etc.; mostly professions that do not involve combat)

Loki thought, "The dwarven guards may seem silly and simple-minded on the surface, but behind them lies a driving force. Otherwise, they wouldn't have 'coincidentally' become guards, would they?" (The implication being: Wouldn't it be better for them to stay home?)

As Loki left the city gate, the two dwarf soldiers continued to check his credentials, which Loki presented in a friendly manner.

"Things went smoothly! They should be level 2 now. No fighting in just a few days? It's unbelievable that they could naturally grow to level 2!"

On the way, Loki ran very fast. Upon reaching the Freshwater River, Loki decided to change direction and search for the river's source.

Edward III's "time magic" is becoming increasingly proficient. He prepares to use this magic to challenge the "examination" for advanced mages. There are currently about 30 intermediate-level mages in this other world. Edward is one of the best among them.

Benjamin VI felt hopeless about advancing this time, so he went to the Void Fortress to "clear his head," which was pretty much a sign that he had given up.

The remaining mid-level mage team includes a disciple of the Firebringer, and an apprentice of the werewolf Wolf, who is also a werewolf—a very violent young "Wolverine." There are also several mid-level shamans. The five disciples of the frost mage are said to be able to freeze the entire map when they combine their spells...

The "High-Level Examination Gate" opened as scheduled. Edward III and the other intermediate mages were already patiently waiting outside the portal. This was a rather rigorous examination, and no one knew the questions. The elders could only offer their disciples "admonitions" (suggestions); even they could not predict the "examination content."

Several young elders, such as Kato Juro (Ninjutsu) and Iron Man George (Frost), had entered the "Examination Gate" in the past. However! They dared not speak carelessly, after all, their fellow disciples had died there! They had become "examiners" (slaves) inside.

Edward was the first to calmly walk in.

"The world is spinning."

Following them, John (Wolverine), Stell (Priest), and Ina (Priestess) also entered. It's said the examination gate has "unlimited" capacity! In the event of disaster, all the mages of this other world could take refuge inside—this is what Elder Sun Yun once told Loki. However, Loki obtained the artifact early on and no longer needs any examinations or tests...

More than twenty intermediate mages were firmly controlled by powerful magical channels, and none of them dared to move! Edward saw that what they were all around was the legendary "River of Time"!

"If they fall, it will be very troublesome! Those who don't understand time magic will be trapped here forever..."

Suddenly! Teleportation stopped!

The intermediate-level mages were all dumbfounded! They dared not utter a word. They had received rigorous "training" in this other world and all possessed the ability to think for themselves.

"It seems every mage has to make a choice. Perhaps this is what the exam is about!" Edward muttered to himself. He always understood one thing: "To become a high-ranking mage, one must surpass them!"

Edward was the first to leave the group.

Seeing him leave, some of the other intermediate mages also left, none of them following anyone else. They all understood; after all, starting from the level of a novice mage, the intermediate mages in this other world were already quite powerful! Each one of them could "stand alone."

Edward arrives in what appears to be an ancient era and slowly descends...
