Dark Eldar

343 Freedom of Action Mode A++

That evening, after dinner. (Separate serving system)

Markars and Ludal traveled together to Dark's camp. After several days, the DK had hired cheap local labor (caveman and goblin progenitors, etc.) to build and upgrade Dark's temporary quarters. It seemed the Dark Legion's funds remained plentiful. This was a result of their earlier frenzied plundering.

"Lord Dark, our Strike Force is making great progress! We'll be able to subdue the arrogant Destroyer Rhodes soon. This time, the progress is exceptionally smooth. Our combat strength has also been minimally depleted." Ludar knelt on one knee, reporting casually.

"Oh? Not bad, I heard about it too. Marcus did something?" Dark said. His voice remained cold and ruthless, sending a chill down one's spine.

"Yes, sir. The elderly Marcus only took on a small part. The rest was accomplished through my consultation with him. It cannot be denied..." Ludall paused deliberately.

"What is undeniable?" Darke pressed.

"Marx's magic tricks during the Cold War worked," Ludall skillfully deflected.

"Spells? What are they? Markas, why don't you try casting a spell on me? I want to observe!" Dark said earnestly from behind his black mask. He just wanted to put a little pressure on Ludar so that he wouldn't be so hypocritical.

"My lord, I...I...no...I dare not." The stubborn human spiritual leader, the mage Markars, remained unyielding. It wasn't that he didn't want to cast a spell, but rather that he was reluctant to simply obey whatever others told him to do.

"Alright, alright. You guys get on with your work. Markus, if you want to go to another world, I can help you in the future. But the prerequisite is that you must first conquer the entire map of Kevin Garnier!!" Dark indirectly issued an ultimate order (Skull-level mission).

"receive!"

"Received!" the two replied one after the other (they hadn't claimed it). They walked backwards out of the tent.

"The whole map? Are you kidding me? That's impossible. Don't you have any sense of that, Commander?" the human mage Markars asked softly.

"Okay, I understand. Don't say anything more. Let's deal with the Ghost Clan leader, Rod, first," Ludar said, sounding slightly impatient. Dark's earlier questioning had disrupted Ludar's train of thought.

"Alright, you'd better take care of yourself." Markus returned to the Critical Strike Brigade to rest. He couldn't return to his original brigade until the new team's mission was complete. Not even a meeting was allowed. The Brigade Leader, Rudar, had already imposed restrictions. He was probably afraid of distracting everyone and didn't want to deploy according to the original "free-roaming mode" A. He wanted everyone to focus on the arduous task at hand.

That night, Ludar couldn't sleep, lost in thought. He had a feeling that the super-cold-blooded Dark had suddenly become a different person. "Cold-blooded, yet with a feeling that's hard to describe..." (Possibly a power-leveling service?)

Before he knew it, dawn had broken. Ludal stared blankly out the window, at a loss. Rhodes, a level 247 Oni, was still waiting for Markars' reply. What they wanted wasn't just any ordinary "bargaining chip." Ludal didn't even dare to give the truth, because he was still slightly afraid of Dark, afraid of his "unpredictable" nature!

"Clang, clang, clang!" (The sound of knocking on a heavy solid wood door)

They were elite half-human guards (level 45), and heroes. In the critical strike group, there were almost no low-level warriors; they were all top-tier fighters. The only exception was the elemental creatures—Dark's personal guard—who weren't part of the DK group. Dark hadn't agreed to the transfer. Ludar dared not mention it. Everyone knew that the DKs were of the same race as Dark, and their status, following Dark's, was naturally superior.

Fortunately, when they joined, the twelve executives and well-trained soldiers of the DK had already completely eroded their arrogance during their racial training camps. In other words, besides protecting Dark and providing main damage output in battles, the DK spent their free time leveling up and training on their own. They didn't have much contact with other groups. And more importantly, elemental creatures weren't lecherous, which naturally reduced the amount of trouble they faced.

The tenacious human mage, Markars, had long since become indifferent to the world. Though his life was short, his cultivation was not low. If he were in the main world of this alternate dimension, Markars would certainly have advanced to the "Elder" rank.

"You're back," the alluring woman greeted her. Besides charm magic, she now wanted to learn healing. Joining the Critical Strike Guild had truly broadened her horizons! She hadn't expected that this elderly mage, after assuming the position of vice-leader, would have a status and ability no less than Ludar's.

"It's you! Why aren't you upgrading?" Marcus said, feeling a bit tired. He'd even experienced a slight lag while collecting his mount earlier. ... (Note: The hardware of all level 2 maps cannot compare to that of the main map, the Otherworld. A 0-100ms latency fluctuation is considered normal. The main map's latency, however, is 110ms, almost ten times that of level 2 maps. Don't underestimate ten times! It's not about being ten times more powerful; the main map's area is practically "infinite," so you can imagine the order of magnitude difference between different orders! However, there are exceptions where lag occurs in the Otherworld, possibly due to a mismatch between the client or its hardware. All clients purchased through "genuine" channels and those within the "warranty" period are covered by warranty. Client cheating is out of the question, as it's just a connection device. If data anomalies occur, the system will be locked for a considerable period after the alarm, preventing continued "valid" login.)

This isn't a no-go, it's a recommendation for the treasure book "Dark Eldar".
