Dark Eldar

Level 2 map, featuring the tenacious human mage Markars, level 53. He roams between the Destroyer Rhodes and the Dark faction, seemingly enjoying the process immensely.

The Undead's condition was to withdraw their troops. The Dark Legion's condition was surrender and submission (even more ruthless). What was originally an irreconcilable conflict seemed to have taken a turn for the better thanks to the "persuasion" of the old mage Markarus. Could it be that the tenacious human old mage Markarus possesses a hero with rare attributes?

Ordinary heroes first possess racial talents, and with a bit of luck, they might have an initial attribute (see extended page). Most free heroes in the Tier 2 map don't have a second attribute. The Tier 2 "Order" has long since sold second attributes for in-game currency (Shop S) to make a living. Since the price isn't particularly outrageous, the "first recharge" (first top-up) is specifically for buying this. These are usually: 5 Agility, 5 Intelligence, 5 Strength... The bonus per level is nowhere near the level of VIP1 in the main map of another world. (Note: Due to its limited capabilities, the 5 Intelligence points that Tier 2 Order can grant per level are "sacrificed" from its own attributes... If too many are granted, Tier 2 Order's power will weaken until the first-recharge hero dies, at which point it can fully reclaim the various attribute and talent bonuses initially granted. If the first-recharge hero lives, Tier 2 Order cannot reclaim the attribute points. Murder is illegal except in the core layer!)

There's another situation where there's no second attribute page, which is even more complicated to explain... For example, the tenacious human spiritual leader "Markus," currently chatting and laughing with the Oni faction, while his position wasn't very high, it's improved slightly; he's now almost on par with Ludar, the leader of the "Critical Strike Group." His position is vice-leader. When negotiating with the Oni minor leader, the Destroyer "Rhodes," he tries to project a strong image...

"So? Can you accept the conditions I've offered, or do you need to think about it?" Once fully prepared, the old mage Markarth will travel alone to the map Pololdor (59443) to conduct necessary "negotiations." (Markarth's daily quest, progress hidden)

Ludar, the leader of the Brutal Squad, witnessed the entire unfolding process.

He sometimes wanted to accompany Markars (which required forming a second party), but the old mage Markars politely declined.

Marcas may have felt that Ludar was too "soft," and that negotiation is ultimately a difficult task; if one is always "submissive," it is easy for the talks to fall apart.

The astute Ludal knew this well. He now only dared to display his imposing side in front of his subordinates. When facing powerful enemies, he felt like a different person (lacking the strength). His former "arrogant" side was gone forever. "Could it be because I'm getting old? No way?" Ludal couldn't worry about that anymore. Since the mage Markars was skilled in this area, he just needed to manage things well. The credit would still be his!

Ludal's strategic skills (military) are quite strong. He is "squeezing" the last bit of "life force" out of the old mage Markars.

Rhodes the Destroyer, level 247, was the leader of the Undead race. In several conversations with the respected but low-ranking human mage Markarth, he had already felt a sense of "warmth" (benefits). The old mage Markarth even agreed to a "withdrawal," but this was merely a delaying tactic. During the second negotiation, Markarth changed his mind again under some pretext, and Rhodes nearly had his ear chopped off by the Undead executioners.

The resilient Markarus showed no fear of death. His only thought was of the elven princess, the beautiful Eliza.

How did the Oni know this? When they saw how stubborn this old man was, they decided to let him go back first, so he could ask Dark or Commander Ludar for more details... "Can you agree to withdraw the troops...?" (Markus faces an extremely dangerous situation!—it's either life or death!!)

On his return journey to the city on a plain white wildebeest, amidst swirling dust, Markars gazed at the beautiful sunset. Suddenly, he felt a surge of power coursing through his body. "Despite being a lower level than my opponent, I've relied on my aging stamina and my spirit (experience) to reclaim the dignity of the tenacious human race!!" (Note: The level 2 map contains numerous groups and organizations, many named impulsively by student soldiers, others randomly chosen by close friends to commemorate special occasions, such as 1537 and 888 Breaking Army. "Tenacious Human Soldier" is one of them. The student soldiers are no longer in this group. Members like the Gwent Swordsman, Barbara the Thief, and Beatrice mostly joined by chance or by chance. If strictly categorized, perhaps only Markars, the old mage, remains of the original founders… This group has no origin or profound meaning; it's just that the name sounds somewhat fitting.)

"Vice Commander, you're back!" Ludar greeted him at the camp's border as usual. He hoped for good news! Dak remained reserved about the developments. Since he had entrusted Ludar with this arduous purple-level mission, if Ludar failed to complete it, he would be convicted, perhaps even sentenced to death...

"Commander Ludar, we're almost there. It might come at the cost of your interests, and I'm sure you know that without enough leverage, we wouldn't be able to sit at the negotiating table, would we?" The tenacious old human mage, Markars, struggled to dismount and earnestly reported to Ludar.
