The tenacious human mage Markarth wasn't particularly interested in the alluring female warriors in his party. His wealth of life experience had long since rendered him indifferent to physical appearance. He was, however, quite interested in new races, especially those like the "Elves" (so prestigious!), characters that didn't even exist in the level 2 maps.
The old mage Markars's insight was indeed sharp. Even in the main map of this alternate world, creating a new elven hero is no easy feat. It requires a great deal of effort. (Note: Due to various reasons, the elven race has been gradually limited since the 21st century. This is partly due to plot development, but more importantly, it's to balance the number of IDs for other races. It's a form of "hunger marketing." The prerequisite is that the virtual world is extremely popular. In other secondary maps, it would be a race that's already been exhausted, or a hero or class that's long outdated, like the "transformed ninja"... In short, it's quite different.)
The Wetland Park (59549), where Rudar temporarily created the "Berserker Regiment," is a mixed-gender dormitory. It's somewhat similar to Rudar's old rebel regiment, which was the same before the 17th Regiment, where all professions, regardless of gender, lived in one large dormitory. A uniform daily schedule was implemented.
Vice-leader Markus (level 45) is quite old. If he hadn't been invited, he certainly wouldn't have come here to cause trouble. Now it's too late to say anything, so he's just forced into it and sees things as they come... (Note: Markus's game time is long gone. Theoretically, he's a highly specialized player. He doesn't consume game time, nor does he employ "immortality"—a veiled reference to "parasitic strategies"—a high-level playstyle. However, he doesn't consume any game time. In terms of energy and "interaction," he maintains a high degree of consistency with the Second Order. The concept is a bit complex; a metaphor might be better understood: "Like a magical extension of Second Order DPS!" This explanation makes it easier to understand. Due to physical limitations and outdated source code versions, the abilities in Second Order maps are generally weaker. They, too, are willing to sacrifice for "survival.") They are willing to cultivate "parasitic IDs"—IDs that heroes can gain some "benefits" without spending money. The risk is that these IDs can be forcibly unbanned at any time. Once repeatedly deemed "useless" by the AI, i.e., "mediocre," the contract will unilaterally collapse. Another possibility is a gradual collapse, which is definitely a threatening tactic, resembling a mutually exploitative human-machine coexistence. This elite group may be hidden among the "mysterious figures" in the main map, especially in the core layer. They should also have a need for artifacts. Unfortunately, "soul-bound" items cannot be changed by anyone.
Inside the Critical Strike Guild's dormitory, everything was orderly. Those who needed to sleep were sleeping. Those who needed to study skill books were studying them. (The half-human warriors, rogue assassins, and the like are extremely meticulous about their energy bars, attack speed, and so on. Even the order in which they cast skills is something they try and optimize repeatedly.)
The tenacious human mage, Markars, had long since given up on researching his skills. He had long since abandoned them; his skill bar was empty. Perhaps Markars possessed some unique hidden skill? No one knew. After all, his identity was special; he was the "spiritual leader" of the tenacious humans. Although not a particularly famous guild, with the continuous growth of the Dark Legion, the "tenacious humans" had absorbed many new "student soldiers," and their numbers were now approaching the 500-strong limit. To level up further and rank the guild higher, everyone's collective effort was needed.
FS Markarth wasn't particularly invested in his primary guild, "The Tenacious Humans." While he was a veteran, Markarth had already handed over leadership to the Gwent swordsman. He believed this young and promising local swordsman was better suited for the position.
Before Markars left, Quint made a promise: "I promise to take good care of everyone, and I promise to secretly protect Princess Eliza the elf with the guild's and my own reputation... similar polite words..."
Marcus didn't take it to heart at all. He believed his decisions were unlikely to be wrong. Everyone has a sense of curiosity; everyone wants to meet and "add" the beautiful elven princess as a friend, and even increase their affection, just like me... However, the result was that no one could figure it out. No one knew what abilities the elderly, not particularly handsome, and perhaps only somewhat dignified old mage Marcus possessed? How could he possibly "chat and laugh" with the elven princess Eliza?
Whether online or offline (on Tieba), the vocabulary available to everyone is limited. No one dares to use the sensitive word "couple" lightly... Everyone is afraid of being accused of "false accusation" or "defamation" by the authorities! When the "dual title" doesn't display any "couple" text, people only dare to say they are friends. After all, the Elf Princess has her super warrior brother, Ilet T, and their grandfather, the demigod "Izo" Master FS.
Within the Critical Strike team, the Enchantress's identity remains rather shrouded in mystery. Her beauty differs from Eliza's; the Enchantress is a banshee, and it's speculated that she might have some connection to the Garden of Eden.
