Dark Eldar
341 Demon Lord - King Moro
The Morsaians will never betray us! — A small inscription on the epic artifact "Eternal Blade".
Level 2 map. Oni race "Rhodes" (Level 247), class Destroyer.
When Ludar first encountered the Oni race, he wasn't very familiar with their class divisions. This was because the "Oni race" didn't exist in the Otherworld. Logically, the Oni race's history included appearances in ancient times (during the open beta). The flourishing of the Elven race at that time meant that Oni, Banshees, Dark Elves, and other (older races) could only survive in a humble manner. The Oni race's reproductive ability was also quite poor (and they were relegated to secondary maps). For optimization purposes, the "Otherworld" and other main maps in the "Multi-World" also removed this race.
However, die-hard fans of the "Demon Race" have always followed in the footsteps of the "Demon Lord"—King Moro. Legend has it that King Moro was born at max level. (Note: The Demon Race's racial talent "Invisibility" requires no potions or mana.)
During lulls in the tug-of-war, Ludar also made sure to frequent neutral social venues such as bars, oxygen bars, and restaurants.
He was highly curious and knew far more about the Oni race's strengths and preferences than his "leader," Dark. He would even subtly reveal some of the Oni race's "little secrets" (such as insignificant weaknesses) when reporting on the "battle situation" to Dark. The former Dark Messenger, Dark, had long been aware of Ludar's ulterior motives. However, he believed Ludar was currently of greater use. Furthermore, theoretically, he could continue to be trusted later on.
When Ludar formed the "Critical Strike Team," his strength was already sufficient to confront Dark in a direct confrontation. At the very least, it was possible to sideline Dark or indirectly confront him through secret planning or more complex methods... But Ludar chose not to do so. (Note: In the multiverse, whether in the main map or secondary maps, "freedom" is absolutely guaranteed! As long as it's within a "reasonable range," the main storyline can be shifted according to the hero's "will." However, there's a prerequisite: the hero and their team must be "legal"!)
The world of "Muggle" (referring to single-player and private servers). Countless heroes possess immortality, unlimited ultimate abilities, unlimited aggro, unlimited buffs, and so on. If one of these "gods" were to actually teleport 100 times to "jump over the wall" and log in? That would be an absolute disaster!! PK-ing Loki, Elder Moore, or even higher-level demigods? All would be a piece of cake... Unfortunately, it's just "fantasy." The "AI's" defensive wall, and the core layer of the "system army," are arguably the most impenetrable.
Muggle heroes are often easily deceived by reality. Even after being weakened (with promises of retained appearance and golden wings), they always dream of becoming "big shots" right from the start, only to end up with short lives and indescribable consequences...
The gossip in the Muggle world is always bitter and incomprehensible... They logged in, made their first purchase, and died immediately—it was definitely unintentional on the part of the system. Surprisingly, quite a few refused to accept their fate, spending a lot of in-game currency to upgrade and enhance their characters, only to end up tragically (often due to being the first to engage in a red-named event and being counter-killed). Their hearts were filled with turmoil... They didn't want to be like this, but they were used to being arrogant in the "single-player world." Now, in a higher-level environment with systems, hierarchy, and rules, did they really think they could be king? Honestly, it's safer and cheaper to start as a free NPC.
【FAQ】Offline, many players mistakenly believe that casual players were once Muggles? This is completely wrong. Frankly speaking, anyone, any hero, could potentially have been a Muggle in the past. Offline internet companies and technology are incredibly advanced. "AI" is already far beyond our reach. They design "mini-games" to "confuse" children, just to make humanity more efficient and better adapt to the future. Casual players, however, always belong to the high-end segment. Their starting point has long since deviated from the "medium" of "maximizing profits." Therefore, their probability of obtaining powerful artifacts is almost "zero." But they are mostly content. Their "needs" are generally quite "blatant" (direct)! For example, the former rebel leader "Ludar." His purpose upon logging in was very simple: to achieve large-scale "centralization" without spending money (game cards), even if it meant constant "subservience," as long as they could gradually approach their plans and goals, even at the risk of death.
Another solo player in Ludar's "Critical Strike Guild," the tenacious human mage "Markars," level 53 (vice-leader of the guild), recently leveled up! When he first joined the guild, he was only level 51. In just a few days, simply by standing still in the training grounds, he received a large amount of free experience points. This was all thanks to Guild Leader Ludar. Ludar wanted to reward this "mysterious man."
Ludar certainly knew about the mysterious figures from the other world. However, these mysterious figures weren't the wandering "mysterious figures" of that other world. (The mysterious figures of that other world held unapproachable positions! They were suspected to be the embodiment and representatives of "order"?)
The female leader, "Enchantress" (level 70), class: Banshee. Her low level is understandable, but her status is far from low. She and her confidante, "Mary" (level 53), are two beauties who have joined the guild. Mary is the youngest daughter of "Hawkville" (a half-human), the former lord of Kevin Garnier's city. Originally, Mary's desire for revenge was extremely strong! But under the careful tutelage of the "Enchantress," she seems to have gradually forgotten who she is, where she comes from, and what she is meant to do... (Note: The source of the Enchantress magic is the improved basic attack skill of "Eden." This recruited heroine, named only "Enchantress," despite her humble origins and unremarkable appearance, might be a "female knight-errant"?? "Enchantress" has been "verified.")
