"Loki! Hurry up! Why are you so slow?" Benjamin shouted as he ran ahead!

Loki is looking at a map. (M)

After half a month, Benjamin and Loki had established a "new" friendship (trust level 277). They talked about many topics unrelated to "spells" on their journey, and Benjamin VI gave Loki a feeling of déjà vu.

"Here you are! Here you are! Have you finished your daily routine for today? The last stop was Mar Fortress! I think the banshees there seemed to admire you quite a bit. So, which girl are you planning to marry in the future?" Loki asked half-jokingly.

Regarding views on marriage and love, the other world has always been conservative. The Vinaya Pitaka does contain the saying "settle down before building a career," but that's just the opinion of an anonymous elder and hasn't been adopted by the "majority."

"I still want to advance to become an elder first, otherwise Master Schopenhauer will definitely punish me..." Benjamin said earnestly.

"Hey! What time is it? You're still thinking about him??" Luo wanted to laugh, but he held back. A "prodigal son" accustomed to freedom for years, upon hearing the otherworldly apprentices' worries again, he actually became more open-minded (more accepting). Besides, Benjamin VI was already a "high-level mage," why was he still so restrained? He really didn't understand, yet he also understood. This wasn't contradictory...

"You're both cheerful and boring. I like that. I admire you." Loki said, turning his head as he picked up his backpack.

"..."

"Loki, you...you can't...?" Benjamin asked in surprise. (In this alternate world, "gay relationships" are allowed. For marriage, regardless of gender, mutual trust must be above 2000 points; otherwise, the order "disagrees"! After marriage, there's an extra experience bonus and extra damage. Note: Extra damage for the party; for pure friendship with partners, mutual trust generally needs to be above 1000 points to automatically generate.)

"Oh? That? No, no! That's not what I meant, don't misunderstand. I'm just too carefree, and I really long to go back to the other world." Loki said, and then sat down on a large rock by the roadside to rest.

"Back to another world??" Benjamin sat on another, smaller rock.

"Let's take a break. Your 'luggage mount' needs some hay. Although we are all battle-hardened warriors, I think we are not as good as the First Men in terms of stamina and endurance," Loki said, wiping his sweat and pointing to the passing "pedestrians."

Along the way, you occasionally encounter travelers, orcs, and neutral level 23 monsters. They either remain silent or utter rude warnings (in their native language). They have a strong sense of self-preservation. They dislike being stared at. (Being marked)

Loki merely nodded politely. At his level, clearing out all the monsters in his path would be "a piece of cake." But there was absolutely no need for him to do something so pointless, inexperience-intensive, and just to collect junk in his inventory! Loki didn't want to become a bastard who "indiscriminately slaughtered innocents."

Warning: While leveling up by defeating monsters is perfectly acceptable, large-scale slaughter of low-level monsters risks disrupting the ecological balance. Violating the law will result in being imprisoned in the local jail by the "Enforcers"!

"Loki, why aren't you saying anything? Did you discover the 'Marked One' (world quest)?" Benjamin looked in the direction Loki was looking.

"There's nothing there! Are those ordinary people even worth suspecting?" Benjamin asked curiously.

In terms of upgrading his combat power, Loki should have no problem taking on ten Benjamins. Benjamin VI is actually secretly "keeping a close eye on things," and to some extent, despite his seemingly "naive" exterior, he also wants to improve his strength as quickly as possible. ... (Loki can see 20; the rest is guesswork...)

"Oh, it's nothing. Sometimes I really do unconsciously look for Loki's special attribute: exploration! I think it's not just a mysterious quest, it'll definitely drop a 'mysterious map'!!" Loki shared his years of research findings with his junior brother. (Decryption: Without some solid knowledge, Loki might not be able to handle it.)

"Oh! So that explains why you're so obsessed with 'finding the marked ones'... Oh, I see!" Benjamin stood up, intrigued!

As everyone knows, Loki, the sole owner of the "Mold of Creator," although a graduate of an "other world," achieved accomplishments that even Schopenhauer greatly envied. Sometimes, Schopenhauer would even lower himself to ask Loki for small favors. (For example, for forging "Dragon Spikes"—forging the materials is very easy, the key is the "synthesis" process! "Impure Dragon Spikes" are already being sold for dozens of times their original price at auctions! They're essential components for artifacts! Even if Elder Schopenhauer were incredibly wealthy, he wouldn't be foolish enough to spend an exorbitant amount to order them from an auction house.)

"Oh, right! Ben, I was just getting back to the other world, don't let them repeat what I said. It's just a sentiment, a nostalgia, after all, my childhood was there," Loki instructed. (Appropriately opening up)

"Okay, brother, I promise I'll keep it a secret. What if you don't take me with you and kick me out of the team?" Benjamin made a face. (grin)

"Well! It's getting late, let's keep going! We'll be at the new inn soon. What do you want to eat today? It's on me, but you can't ride anymore. Pack up your luggage and mount! I'll compensate you for losing a magic crystal!" Loki found Benjamin's "pony" (a normal mount, level 15, not bound) really annoying.

When Benjamin set off in the morning, he didn't want to carry his luggage. So he secretly summoned a regular luggage mount to follow him. Putting the mount away required another magic crystal. It was quite extravagant for only one day of use... (One medium magic crystal costs 15 gold coins. Luggage mounts include ponies, donkeys, ostriches, kodos, etc. High-level mounts require high-level magic crystals, which are much more expensive, costing around 120 gold coins each!)
