Dark Eldar
134 Sam
Many dream of owning a real dragon mount. But most are unable to ride one. This is because dragons are ancient guardians—"Temple Guardians" (title)! Forget riding them; even touching them was difficult in the past, let alone getting close. Unfortunately, the "New Order" has weakened their fighting power. Dragons are no longer the dragons of the past.
The Dark Eldar only dared to "weaken" their powerful dragon leaders; they dared not unleash Neltharion's "true form."
"Arthas! Little Arthas! Come on! Let's go out and play!" Early in the morning, Arthas's (a Tier 5 hero of the Dark Eldar race) 8-year-old son, "Apa" (phonetic translation, Tier 1), came to Neltharion to "play."
"Little Sa? Oh no! I hate this!" Nesario shook his head and complained!
"Go! Go! It's better than staying put!" Quai Kindu the Mammoth chimed in, making sarcastic remarks.
"What can you do if you don't go? Wait to get whipped?" Nesario said.
"No, I can't bear to hit you. If you like, you can sleep with me?" the innocent Apa said after hearing this. (Common language)
"Sleep together? Oh! How disgusting! I think we should forget about it! Let's go, let's get down to business! Little master!" Nesario hadn't lived for nothing over the thousands of years; he knew how to please people.
In the sky, Apa stroked his "birthday present," soaring freely through the azure expanse. The naive young prince of the Dark Eldar had no idea what the world was all about. His parents wouldn't easily tell him either. (Secret: The Dark Eldar have encountered an even more powerful enemy—a level 308 "Ironclad Monster" imprisoned in the stables? That might be a clue...)
"Little friend, could you make me a slightly nicer saddle?" Nesario asked.
"No! No! The monsters ate all the metal in the castle. Many of our warriors aren't even armed!"
"Eaten? Interesting..." Nesario sensed something from Apa's words. The little prince's tone was quite like that of a "little adult."
"Then, what about the humanoid potion? I mean, the potion that can completely change anyone's form after drinking it, or maybe even turn them into one of your Dark Eldar?" During the flight, Nesario didn't forget to try and extract some "information" in a joking manner.
"Become one of us? You mean you can become a Dark Elf?" Apa asked curiously.
"That's right? Anyone can transform, especially us dragons!"
"I don't understand. I think a dragon is a dragon, how can it change?" "?" Little Apa asked, puzzled.
"You're right! Child!! A dragon is a dragon!" ... In the sky, facing the wind, Nesario shed a tear. He missed the old days, when he was free and unrestrained.
"...Is there an Apa?" The wise black dragon kept communicating with Apa along the way, teasing him and trying to change his will.
"Never heard of it. My father is very busy! I heard they're researching immortality!" Although Apa was young, the Dragon King could tell that the Dark Spirits also feared time, or, in the words of the otherworldly humans, "the passage of time."
The "morning exercise" ended on time, and Apa should go to his magic class.
Neltharion was returned to the stables. He gradually began to adjust to his new identity. His past glory meant nothing to him now. This was evident in how Apar and his father, Arthas VII (a Tier 5 Eldar), treated him. They treated him merely as a "regular VIP rare pet," no different from how they treated Qui-Ginduyo. ... (Similar to the "achievement" of collecting otherworldly mounts)
"Brother Long! How was it? What did you see and hear today? Tell me about it!" As soon as the guard left, Que Kinduyo asked impatiently.
"Are all the people from Kevin Garnier like you? Always so easily startled. I really want to take you to see our other world. We can all find our own way of life and our own value. Do you think you can't live without me?" Nesario questioned him with a touch of wit. He wanted the "mammoth giant" diagonally opposite him to reflect on his actions.
The 308 Ironclad Behemoth is still asleep. Unawakened. (Temporarily Away)
Nesario looked around, thinking, "Everything, the environment, has changed. After all, if I still cling to the old mindset, thinking I'm still the 'Dragon King,' then I think Que Kinduyo would definitely be the 'Mammoth King'... Regardless of what he was like before, now I should just do what I'm supposed to do. As for the dream of returning to freedom, that's something I should have too..."
The stable became quiet, save for the soft rustling of chewing. The camels were frantically munching on their fodder. The worker feeding them was a human. This made Neltharion feel a sense of familiarity. He hadn't expected the Dark Eldar not to oppress them.
"Camels eat grass, dragons eat meat, elephants eat bananas, and what do the machine armors eat? Forget it! Let them continue to starve." The worker feeding the hay was named Sam. Nesario noticed that he, like the ancient inhabitants of this other world, was at level "LV1".
"Mr. Black Dragon, here's some meat for you. Please don't bite me or breathe fire! You're much more docile than before!" Sam, the hay keeper, brought over a whole piece of bloody, fresh beef in a large wooden basin. He had already given some bananas to Que Kinduyo. Twenty bunches in total, enough for a mammoth to eat for two days.
"May I say something to you, kind human?" Nesario asked, taking the food.
"Like I said, eat and drink your fill, then go to sleep. Don't make things difficult for me! My job is to keep you all plump and healthy. 10 gold coins a month. Remember, don't get sick! If you do, you'll be locked in a dark room! Learn from the camels; they never speak. They only eat grass!!" Sam said impatiently. He was probably afraid of causing trouble; a level 1 life form was easier for a level 600 Dark Elf than stepping on an ant.
"Camel? Okay, thanks. Please don't add salt next time, I don't eat salty food!" Nesario offered his suggestion regarding the food.
"That's more like it! I'm only responsible for feeding you; I don't have time to chat with you. I can't control where you come from! I heard it's chaotic outside. Some heroes have even become slaves! If I were you, I would stay here obediently and not go anywhere! With food and drink, what's there to complain about? It's better than nothing!" Sam said, throwing down his apron. He slammed the fence shut and left. His accent sounded very much like the "Thunder Sound People" of the Thunder Sound City in another world.
The stables returned to calm, save for the clanging sounds of the war camels munching on their fodder. When they got tired, they would pause to rest. For the war camels, constantly eating, drinking, excreting, and sleeping were their primary tasks.
