Dark Eldar

106 The Great Rejuvenation 1005

In ancient times, the sea was the only means of communication between landmasses, making voyages extremely dangerous for early inhabitants! Sea monsters would devour people and boats alike! The arrival of the forest guardians, the elf mages, changed people's way of life. More and more farmers, hunters, and lumberjacks joined the ranks of those learning magic. By seniority, humans should always address elves as "Master." However, later, to guard against the rise of humans, the elves hid many advanced magic scrolls, limiting human mages to the intermediate level. At most, they could create a "teleportation portal," cast an "arc missile," or perform a "freeze spell." Of course, they could master "spell bread" and "polymorph" even at the beginner level.

Human mages, of course, were not content with the status quo, and thus the "prophet" emerged. The prophet's abilities far surpassed those of the elves; they could foresee the "future." Strictly speaking, "prediction" falls under the category of time magic, requiring no mana, mediums, artifacts, or spells. It is an innate "instinct." (Mutant Talent)

In 1005 BC, guided by human "prophets," human heroes gathered at the temple, preparing to open the "doors of knowledge"! (The Elven library; ancient history refers to this event as: "The Great Revival 1005")

The first Elven Arthas (Lord of Silvermoon) was originally destined for immortality, but unfortunately, he was cursed by the human prophet's prophetic power (a powerful curse; the prophet created his own "lying magic," which causes the target to lose their mind and is now lost).

Arthas, who chose the "Path of Thorns" (redemption), was driven to his death by rage. In a fit of impulsiveness, he transformed his beloved daughter, Arthas, into the first Banshee (irreversibly), because of her marriage to the human prophet Jean Valjean, which the dwarven canon described as an "extramarital affair."

Even today, the weeping in the wind can still be heard in the "Plague Land," and no one dares to enter it. ... (Note: Ancient history is extremely complex; what has been passed down includes not only written records but also oral traditions passed down from generation to generation by various peoples and ethnic groups.)

The hideous humanoid monster, Mana, quickly left Gludin Castle. He was unaware of the multiple worlds of this "otherworld," and he knew nothing about his own abilities or anything about the "Prophet." According to the principles of the multiverse order, once "Kevinjani" is completely conquered (meaning all teleportation portals are opened), "Kevinjani" will come under the constraints of "order" and "law." Currently, this map is still ruled by the highest leader of Kevinagani, who should conventionally be the "King"... (Note: No one knows where the King of Kevinagani is right now. Gludin villagers and mid-level officials, fearing attacks from the Oni race, are under "martial law" and haven't seen their King for a long time.)

"Lord Corpse Worm, Gludin City is undergoing an orderly 'reset,' everything is now perfectly organized and impeccable! Their civilization is highly advanced. Your planned war is bound to be aborted. If you were to launch a forced attack, I'm afraid..."

In the shadows, Mana was "reporting" to a giant maggot. The large, golden worm was wriggling incessantly, and it was utterly disgusting.

"msdgfs&*&*#$%^!!!!!" the corpse worm roared! It was truly an insect, not some kind of species. Its level couldn't be displayed either. What was certain was—the corpse worm was exceptionally strange!!

"I suggest you return to your kingdom! Don't seek your own death!" Mana spoke to the corpse worm in an extremely arrogant tone! The corpse worm was dripping with bodily fluids and could understand the "common language".

"¥%%...&%…¥#%#……6!!!" After saying its last words, the corpse worm did not turn around, but left with its other head. It was truly a giant "fat earthworm".

The corpse worms moved quickly, burrowing into the soft soil and disappearing... Mana cleverly looked around, but he still spotted Ludar and the incredibly agile slayer.

"Mana is truly a traitor." Ludar closed his eyes and gave the order to capture the traitor "Mana".

Mana, suspected to be a prophet, was unlikely to "give in easily." If he truly was a "prophet," then he could certainly have predicted the invisibility of Ludal's squad...

Mana dropped the following items: "Level 5 Coarse Cloth Gloves, 2 Gold Coins, Level 3 Scout Bodysuit, Level 8 Felt Hat, Hopeless's 'False Teeth' (Level 13 White Dagger), the weapon is still in Mana's backpack, and his 16-slot canvas backpack." The Slayer buried Mana deep, afraid that the corpse worms would smell his scent, since most of the worms are blind and rely entirely on their noses to find their way.

At night, Ludar lay in bed, gazing at the starry sky outside with melancholy.

"I thought I had discovered a long-lost profession, but all my efforts have been in vain... No one can predict the future, not even Edward III, who was the best at using time magic? I heard he actually became a sorcerer?? A sorcerer? What a ridiculous profession! What kind of nonsense is this?! What kind of bizarre world is this?!" Ludall sighed.
