Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?
Chapter 46 Happy Times
Afterward, Kevin led Hermione out of the woods, dragging several tree trunks along with him.
He didn't cause any trouble for Harry, he just glared at him.
Then he started preparing lunch.
They set up a campfire around one side, placed a large pot on it, and cooked some clear soup to cut through the greasiness.
On the other side, they set up a grill and, together with Hermione, washed and cleaned the prepared ingredients and skewered them.
The group that had been playing in the water came back to help, but only Ginny was actually doing the real work of preparing the ingredients. The other three men went to check on the grill; they were clearly more interested in the roaring fire.
Actually, Kevin is also...
However, he was afraid of getting kicked by Hermione if he didn't do his job properly, so he still worked diligently.
"Alright, leave the clear broth grill alone, you guys grill the skewers yourselves."
Kevin and everyone started barbecuing.
He just couldn't understand how barbecue could produce such bizarre dishes—some cooked on top but not on the bottom, some covered in layers of thick sauce, and some covered in charcoal ash.
Clearly, these kids are here to experience the fun of barbecue; they don't really care whether it tastes good or not.
Oh well, as long as you're happy.
Kevin started preparing, since he had brought a lot of stomach medicine. When their stomachs started hurting, they would have a hard time.
That way I won't dare to do it again.
However, he still personally baked Hermione's portion, not because the little witch couldn't bake it well, but simply because he wanted to help her.
So Hermione waited happily for Kevin to feed her.
"Kevin, you're such a womanizer who neglects his friends."
Ron complained again.
Kevin scoffed, "I do prioritize women over friends."
"Kevin, this place smells amazing! Can we have some grilled skewers too?"
The Grangers also came to their campsite and joined in the barbecue.
"Hey! Draco, I baked that!"
Harry yelled at Draco.
"Scarface, don't be so stingy."
Draco, with a sly grin, snatched Harry's kebab.
This is the third time!
"So what? I'll just bake it for you next time... yue!!"
Draco had no intention of returning it to Harry; he took a bite, and the next second an indescribable stench burst in his mouth.
"Hahaha! Serves you right! I knew you'd try to steal it, so I put some dog poop-flavored Ketchup in there."
Harry immediately changed his expression and loudly mocked Draco, who was running off to vomit.
"Draco, why don't you go vomit in the river and create a fishing spot for us so we can fish later?"
Kevin laughed loudly as well.
Even Harry has become cunning; this is hilarious.
"Scarhead! You just wait!" Draco, vomiting in the distance, roared angrily.
"By the way, Harry, how did you know it smelled like dog poop?"
Kevin then changed the subject and asked about Harry.
"..."
Harry's smile froze, and a moment of silence followed.
"Can we not talk about this...?"
Harry's reaction caused everyone to burst into laughter.
......
After lunch, the little radish kids cleaned up while Kevin went to take a nap.
"Strange, where did Kevin go?"
"Didn't he say he was going to take a nap?" Harry asked, hearing Ron's question.
"But I couldn't find him in the tent."
"?" Harry was taken aback.
Just then, Ginny passed by and hesitated for a moment.
"He was actually in the tent, but... he went to sleep in Hermione's bed..."
Ginny blushed slightly as she said this.
Hermione just found her and begged her not to go back to the tent to rest, because Kevin went to chat with her and ended up falling asleep while they were chatting.
The tent was divided into male and female sections, and no one was allowed to enter the other's area without permission. Kevin was only able to enter after obtaining Hermione's permission.
He probably didn't expect to accidentally fall asleep inside.
"Don't go looking for him. If you wake him up, Hermione will kill you."
Finally, Ginny left those words behind, lowered her head, and ran to the creek.
Harry and Ron were left looking at each other in bewilderment; they were becoming increasingly unreserved!
Inside the tent, Kevin was sound asleep on Hermione's bed.
He noticed that the tent had plenty of space, so he simply bought a few small mattresses, which were much better than sleeping bags. With some duvet covers and pillows, it was incredibly comfortable.
Hermione sat on the edge of the bed, looking at Kevin's sleeping face. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, and a smile occasionally appeared on her lips, as if she were recalling something happy.
After a while, she yawned, hesitated for a moment by the bed, and then decided to crawl into Kevin's bed!
Kevin felt a rustling sound beside him, opened his eyes a crack, and vaguely saw Hermione snuggle into his arms. Without thinking much of it, he hugged Hermione and fell asleep again.
Hermione was startled by Kevin's sudden awakening, but the next moment Kevin pulled her into his arms. Little Hermione tensed up for a moment, then breathed a sigh of relief when she realized Kevin had fallen asleep again, but immediately pouted in anger.
In the end, she didn't do anything, obediently nestled in Kevin's arms, and slowly fell asleep.
Lately, Kevin seems to enjoy taking naps more and more whenever he's with Hermione, provided Hermione is around.
An hour passed slowly, and then people entered the tent.
The person who came was Mrs. Granger. She sneaked into the girls' area and peeked inside.
Her heart melted at the sight of him.
Kevin was holding Hermione, who was resting her head on Kevin's shoulder.
The two little cuties look like a puppy cuddling a kitten while sleeping, which is so adorable that Mrs. Granger is completely charmed.
She couldn't wait to run out, find Kevin's camera in the lobby, and then came back and snapped a bunch of pictures of the two of them sleeping.
Kevin and Hermione were awakened by a series of camera clicks.
"Mom!? What are you filming?!" Little Hermione was confused for a moment, then saw her mother taking pictures of the two of them with a camera.
Hermione immediately blushed like an apple and shouted anxiously.
"My dear daughter, I'm just helping you document the beautiful moments of your life. You'll thank me in the future," Mrs. Granger said matter-of-factly.
"Ah! Give me the camera!" Hermione cried out as she jumped up and reached for Mrs. Granger.
"Oh, don't be in such a hurry, I'll give it to you, I don't believe you'd be willing to delete it." Mrs. Granger teased as she handed the camera to Hermione.
Little Hermione grabbed the camera to look at the photos and then decided to cut up the negatives.
However, when she saw the contents of the film through the camera, she hesitated...
She really liked this scene!
But I also feel so ashamed...
Then we entered brainstorming mode.
Kevin, on the other side, had been lying down ever since he woke up, and even seemed to want to continue sleeping.
However, after giving the camera to Hermione, Mrs. Granger pulled Kevin up, saying that his friends were waiting for him to go fishing together, and then she left.
Kevin then got up, looked at Hermione whose head was almost steaming, and helplessly patted her head.
"It's just a picture of someone sleeping. If you like it, just save it and put it somewhere no one can see it."
Hermione looked up. "Yes, I can just hide it away and admire it myself."
"Oh, right, let me see this too..." Kevin wanted to see the photo as well, wondering why Mrs. Granger and Hermione liked it so much.
"No...no!" Hermione blushed, clutching the camera tightly, refusing to give it to Kevin.
"...Anyway, we'll see it sooner or later, so what's wrong with that..." Kevin said speechlessly.
"Hmm..."
In the end, Hermione gave the camera to Kevin.
"Hmm...it's really nice, Hermione looks so cute when she's asleep."
After reading it, Kevin gave a very fair evaluation.
"Ugh... Don't say anymore! Get out!" Hermione blushed and shooed Kevin away; she couldn't take it anymore if he kept talking.
Kevin was kicked out, completely bewildered. "Hmm, did I praise someone wrong?"
He shook his head, stepped out of the tent, and walked towards the little radishes by the stream.
"Kevin! Look, I caught a fish!"
When Harry saw Kevin arrive, he excitedly held up the still-swaying little fish in his hand, showing off his prize.
Suddenly, a bucket of water was splashed over, and Harry was knocked down, losing the fish he was holding.
"Hahaha! Now you're gone!" Draco laughed loudly, carrying a small bucket.
"Draco! I'll fight you to the death!" Harry got up, grabbed a bucket, and splashed it at Draco.
The two men's violent splashing also affected Ron, who was catching fish nearby.
"Can you two just shut up for a second!" Ron shouted in dissatisfaction.
Then Ron picked up a bucket and joined the fray.
Draco saw Kevin watching the show on the shore, suddenly turned around, and splashed a bucket of water on Kevin.
Harry and Ron saw this and burst into laughter, then splashed water on Kevin as well.
"....."
Okay, okay, I wasn't planning on bullying you, you brought this on yourselves.
Kevin also picked up a bucket.
Then, like a waterwheel, he frantically poured water, one after another, his strength equal to that of three men.
"Kevin's too strong, let's all splash him!"
Ron yelled, and then Harry and Draco joined in, and the three of them and Kevin started splashing each other wildly.
Kevin also scooped up a small fish and smashed it directly onto Ron's head.
"Kevin! You have no sportsmanship!"
The four boys were playing wildly in the stream, and even the surrounding banks were affected.
Hermione came out early and watched with Ginny on the shore as the group of boys, like idiots, carried buckets and dodged around, then scooped up water and splashed it everywhere.
Ginny smiled helplessly, but she was now more curious about Hermione and Kevin's relationship, so she pulled Hermione aside to whisper to her.
I don't know what they said, but both of them turned quite red.
Once the four boys finally calmed down, they called the girls to go into the water to catch fish together.
The amount of gain doesn't matter; the main thing is to be happy.
Kevin also very gentlemanly cast a waterproof and moisture-proof spell on the two girls so that they wouldn't get their clothes wet while playing in the water.
Ron yelled "sexism!" Draco shouted back, and Harry hesitated for a moment before joining in.
Kevin completely ignored them.
At that moment, Mrs. Granger, who was on the shore, called out to the crowd.
"Kids, I heard there are lots of wild vegetables and mushrooms on the other side of the river. You can go pick some after you're done playing."
Everyone agreed, but they had to catch the fish first.
"Hmph! Let's see who catches the most fish! The one who catches the fewest has to grill the fish tonight!" Ron shouted, challenging the others.
Just kidding, a man who's always been proud wouldn't refuse such a challenge.
"Wow, that fish is huge! Harry, Draco! Surround it!"
However, as they continued catching fish, the group started playing around again, specifically targeting the larger ones.
"Got it!"
Harry grabbed a big fish and shouted happily.
"Eh? Eh? Eh!"
Before the others could speak, the fish suddenly began to violently thrash its body and, with a flick of its tail, broke free from Harry's grasp.
Then it fell towards Ginny's direction.
Harry didn't have time to think and pounced on the fish, trying to grab it back.
The big fish fell into Ginny's arms, startling her. She tried to catch it but couldn't.
Harry arrived quickly, and the two of them worked together to catch the fish, after a flurry of activity.
Their hands were almost intertwined, tightly embracing the fish.
They looked up and saw each other so close, their faces flushed, and they instinctively tried to separate, but they both stumbled and fell into the water.
Harry shielded Ginny, and she fell into his arms.
Wow.
Harry, you little rascal, you're quite the expert after all.
Hermione, instead of watching the commotion, quickly went to help the somewhat shy Ginny up.
Neither of them were seriously injured, but even if they were, it wouldn't matter much, since going out to play without getting hurt is like having no soul.
In the end, the fish got away. Kevin nudged Harry and gave him a thumbs up, which made Harry blush.
I don't know if it was embarrassment or awkwardness.
Afterwards, the group went to the woods on the other side of the river to pick wild vegetables and mushrooms.
Ron, that blockhead, actually saw a pretty wild mushroom, took a bite, and got poisoned.
Draco quickly shouted, and Kevin arrived just in time to give Ron the antidote.
Fortunately, the mushroom wasn't very poisonous; it only caused Ron some hallucinations and convulsions.
Otherwise, this guy wouldn't have survived to the end.
