Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?

After a pleasant dinner, everyone went about their own business.

Mrs. Weasley was tidying up the house, while Mr. Weasley was pointing at a pile of documents.

George and Fred took Harry and Ron to their room to see their strange little inventions.

Ginny and Hermione sat in a corner, whispering to each other, occasionally covering their mouths, teasing each other, and blushing.

Kevin and Percy moved two chairs outside to sit and enjoy the breeze. Kevin asked Percy some questions about second grade.

Percy was a steady and reliable person, and having studied for several more years than them, his understanding of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was undoubtedly more in-depth. Kevin was very willing to ask Percy all sorts of questions.

Moreover, as a Gryffindor prefect, Percy must have known about some of the house's arrangements in advance, and you can learn more about the house's plans or changes from him.

For example, in the following school year, their Defense Against the Dark Arts class will be taught by the great adventurer Gilderoy Lockhart.

Perhaps because of Kevin, Hermione still thought Lockhart was amazing and his story was wonderful, but she only appreciated it and didn't idolize or become obsessed with him like she did in the movies in her previous life.

So Kevin didn't bother to expose him. He figured that once Lockhart's facade crumbled, Hermione would finally see the light.

"So, for the new school year, we're going to buy a bunch of Lockhart storybooks as textbooks?"

Kevin asked incredulously.

"I think so," Percy shrugged, undeniably.

Kevin certainly wouldn't choose something so stupid as a teaching material.

He took out paper and pen from his bag and wrote a letter to Professor Snape, incorporating what he had just heard and asking Snape what textbooks he would recommend to him, as well as his friends.

Then the owl delivered it.

He wouldn't stop others from buying Lockhart's storybooks, but he planned to buy a copy of the textbooks Snape recommended for all three of them.

Then, as a gift, a copy would be sent to the other Weasley children.

This is a good way to return the favor of bothering them for a week.

Since Percy was right next to him, he told Percy his plan directly and asked if giving a gift would make him seem too distant.

Percy smiled and first expressed his gratitude, as he had long heard of Kevin's great reputation at Hogwarts.

So he didn't stand on ceremony with Kevin at all, saying he'd accept it if he wanted it.

After a while, Hermione came out and said that she had just seen his owl go out to deliver a message, and asked Kevin who he was delivering the message to at this time.

She invited Kevin and Percy inside; the two patriarchs had finished their work and were chatting together.

The three children spent a pleasant time at Ron's house in the days that followed.

Ron's father would often bring out interesting magical items to show them and explain their uses and history.

These magical things broadened the horizons of the three children and gave them a deeper understanding of the magical world.

During their time at Ron's house, the little Roberts not only experienced the joys of country life but also strengthened their friendships. Harry also loved the place, finding it a true home away from home.

During this time, Professor Snape's reply arrived. He actually recommended a few books to Kevin, but didn't write a single extra word.

Two days before the start of Hogwarts, everyone was having breakfast together.

Mr. Weasley complained that he was exhausted after conducting surprise inspections of nine wizarding families last night.

There are also rumors that a new Muggle protection law is about to be introduced.

Suddenly an owl flew in through the window, carrying several letters in its beak.

It contained the Hogwarts textbook list for this year, and even letters from Kevin, Harry, and Hermione were sent over.

Kevin opened the list, and sure enough, it was a long list of Lockhart storybooks. He and Percy exchanged a glance, and Percy shrugged helplessly.

After breakfast, they planned to go to Diagon Alley as a family to buy the items they needed for the start of the school year.

Ginny is also enrolling at Hogwarts this year and needs special care.

They all donned wizarding robes, with Kevin, of course, wearing the robe and cloak Hermione had given him.

The group stared at the flamboyant Kevin with strange looks. Hermione covered her face, unable to look, and she increasingly regretted giving Kevin such an eye-catching cloak.

The group arrived in front of a two-meter-high fireplace, and Mrs. Weasley introduced it to them as the Floo Network.

It's like a teleportation array, but this teleportation array is like a spider web, with each node connected to the others.

Once inside the fireplace, simply sprinkle Floo Powder, shout out your destination, and you'll be teleported there directly.

Kevin said, "Awesome!"

"Mom, Harry and the other two haven't used the Floo Net yet," Ron reminded his friends, worried about them.

Ron grabbed a handful of Floo Powder, went into the fireplace, shouted "Diagon Alley," and then sprinkled Floo Powder. A burst of green flames instantly engulfed Ron.

Everyone watched this scene in amazement, including Kevin, who was equally curious about the FlooNet with its teleportation function.

"Come on, Harry, you're next." Mrs. Weasley patted Harry on the shoulder.

"Harry, why don't you try reading Diagon Alley first?"

Kevin reminded Harry before he went into the fireplace.

Although Harry was puzzled, he still subconsciously uttered, "Knockdown Alley?" (which sounds similar to Diagon Alley in English).

Everyone present fell silent for a moment, thankful that Kevin had reminded them beforehand.

Harry realized his accent was off, cleared his throat, and repeated Diagon Alley several times before getting ready to enter the fireplace.

It wouldn't be a big deal if Harry went to Knockturn Alley, but there's no need for it. This scene in the movie is just to introduce the character Lucius, who has to deal with some shady things because of a surprise inspection by the Ministry of Magic.

Harry made the standard Diagon Alley sound, which faded away with the firelight.

Then it was Hermione's and Kevin's turn, and then the Weasleys all came over.

They appeared at several public filament fireplaces in Diagon Alley, and people kept coming out one after another with a burst of green flames.

They quickly reunited and went to buy textbooks together, also helping Ginny buy what she needed along the way.

Kevin nudged Harry: "Harry, Ginny and you've been getting along so well these past few days, aren't you going to give her something to congratulate her on getting into Hogwarts?" Kevin wanted to see if he could get Harry and Ginny to develop a relationship sooner rather than later.

Harry, a straight man, later became somewhat obsessed with fighting Voldemort. He was really worried and wanted to see if having a girlfriend could soothe his soul.

Harry thought it made sense. When it came time to buy an owl, since Ginny's family was relatively poor and couldn't afford anything too expensive, Harry suggested that Ginny choose one she liked and he would give it to her as a congratulatory gift for her enrollment at Hogwarts.

Kevin was speechless. I asked you to congratulate Ginny on starting school, and all you actually said was "Happy School Start"...

Ginny, on the other hand, seemed flattered, and her eyes began to sparkle as she looked at Harry.

Seeing this, Hermione walked over to Kevin and gently pinched him, signaling him not to meddle and to let them develop freely. Hermione had been whispering to Ginny these past few days, so she obviously knew some of the inside story.

Kevin was very interested in this inside story and wanted to get some gossip out of Hermione, but Hermione proudly raised her chin and said that these were little secrets between girls and could not be told to others casually.

Kevin had no choice but to give up.

They soon arrived at the bookstore that sold textbooks, where there were many people waiting.

A sign outside the store reads: "Book signing event for 'The Amazing Me'".

Mrs. Weasley, a huge Lockhart fan, hurriedly led the group to squeeze into the queue.

"Hey, you're such a cool guy."

Kevin spotted Draco looking down from the second floor of the bookstore.

"Kevin, can't you use a different way of addressing me?" Draco's attitude wasn't as annoying as before.

The main reason was the time they spent with Norber the Fire Dragon. They didn't have any conflicts and even worked together to take good care of Norber.

But he still acted arrogantly.

Aside from the three kids, the Weasleys were all amazed at how harmonious their relationship was with the Malfoy kids.

After all, it was against the rules for them to take care of the little dragon Norber, and apart from them, no one knew about their relationship.

Out of consideration for adults, the Weasleys greeted Draco, since they knew each other.

Draco, out of consideration for the four children, didn't react negatively, but he clearly still felt deep down that the Weasleys were a disgrace to pure-bloods, so he didn't respond.

Kevin, of course, wouldn't tolerate him and kicked him in the butt. Only then did Draco nod to them as a greeting.

The Weasleys looked at Kevin in astonishment.

The sales event started quickly, and the Weasleys squeezed in. Under the flashing lights of the reporters, Lockhart immediately noticed Harry Potter.

They called Harry up on stage, took a photo with him, and even gave him a complete set of his autobiography.

Draco looked annoyed.

"Why buy that?"

Hermione and Ginny, along with Ron, came out, each carrying a stack of books—textbooks and storybooks.

"Wow, Harry, your girlfriend?" Draco teased as he watched Harry help Ginny carry her things, his tone less sarcastic than in the movies.

"Draco, if you can't speak properly, then don't speak at all." Harry retorted directly to Draco. Their relationship felt like the worst at one time, and the best at the other, which was hard to understand.

This might be what they call a love-hate relationship.

Just as the two were bickering, a sinister voice rang out: "Oh Draco, I'm glad you and Harry Potter get along so well."

A man with blond hair and a gloomy face walked over.

When Draco saw that it was his father, he immediately stood obediently to the side.

The visitor was his father, Lucius Malfoy.

He gave Harry a chilling smile, staring at him like a venomous snake.

"Mr. Potter..."
