Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?

Chapter 12 Quidditch Match, Burning Butt

"The sun shines brightly, and the flowers smile at me."

Kevin woke up in the infirmary the next day fully recovered. He said goodbye to Madam Pomfrey early in the morning, returned to his dormitory, and woke up Harry and Ron.

After washing up, the group went to the meeting hall for breakfast.

Good morning, Hermione.

"You too, Kevin." Hermione was happy to see Kevin looking so energetic and greeted him cheerfully.

The group sat down and began to eat breakfast, but Harry didn't seem to have much of an appetite, probably still nervous about today's Quidditch match.

"Harry, are you still nervous about Quidditch?" Ron loved Quidditch, so he was very interested in Harry's match today.

Harry nodded silently.

"You're not eating? Then I'll eat!"

Kevin saw that Harry's breakfast was untouched and reached out to take it.

Hermione slapped his hand and gave Kevin a look that seemed to say, "You're causing trouble again."

"Harry, eat something, or you won't have the energy for Quidditch today."

Hermione spoke to Harry like a matriarch.

"How can sitting on a broom be so weak?" Kevin asked weakly.

Hermione rolled her eyes at Kevin, unconsciously spoiling him: "Riding a flying broom is very tiring and strenuous, it's not as simple as just sitting on it."

After saying that, she handed Kevin the sandwich she hadn't eaten yet, indicating that Kevin should eat hers.

Kevin didn't stand on ceremony and ate it in a few bites.

Little Hermione looked on, and for some reason, felt very happy.

And they continued to feed Kevin with food.

While eating, Kevin suddenly noticed Professor Snape sneaking up on his dog.

Good morning, Professor Snape.

Professor Snape, who had originally intended to approach Harry Potter in a sinister manner to put pressure on him, was exposed by Kevin.

He glared at Kevin, then moved behind Harry, regrouping and looking down at Harry with his nose in his mouth.

"Good luck today, Mr. Potter."

I'm confident that a little Quidditch won't be too difficult for you, even against a Slytherin opponent.

Snape uttered the last few words of Slytherin in a very enigmatic tone.

Harry was too afraid to speak for a moment in the face of Snape's pressure.

Kevin is different.

"Is Slytherin that cool?" Kevin said, his mouth still full of food, making smacking noises, showing no sign of nervousness, just like a hamster.

Hermione couldn't help but chuckle as she watched the adorable Kevin cause trouble.

"..." Snape looked at Kevin with a terrifying gaze, the tense atmosphere that had just been formed was completely destroyed by this idiot Kevin.

"Shut your pig-like mouth and eat your food properly, or you'll choke!"

Snape uttered a harsh remark, then limped away.

The professor cares about me! He's worried that if I choke to death, no one will inherit his mantle!

"Thank you, Kevin. I feel much better now."

Seeing Snape getting the short end of the stick from Kevin, Harry knew that Kevin was helping him relieve stress, and he felt much better.

"Did you know that Professor Snape was injured? Just last night!"

I suspect Snape released the troll last night to distract the others so he could try to get past Cerberus, but he was bitten and is now limping.

After Harry watched Snape walk away, he once again mysteriously shared his guess with the others.

Why would he go through Cerberus?

Hermione said strangely.

"That thing Hagrid took from Gringotts that day, he said it concerned Hogwarts, and the thing guarded by Cerberus must be that thing. Snape wants to get it."

Harry felt that Snape was not a good person from the beginning of the school year because when he looked at him, the scar on his head caused by Voldemort was throbbing.

"Hmm! I think that makes sense! That old bat doesn't look like a good person at all! We should report him! Impeach him! Get him kicked out of Hogwarts!" Kevin nodded in agreement, shouting that it was absolutely right.

Hermione, however, immediately realized that Kevin was just stirring things up.

Because Kevin had told her more than once how amazing Snape was and what he had taught him, Kevin clearly trusted Snape a great deal.

But now, she's encouraging Harry to suspect Snape. Hermione knows perfectly well that Kevin just wants to mess with Snape and use Harry and Ron as pawns.

However, she didn't intend to point it out.

"The Old Bat?" Harry and Ron heard the term for the first time.

"Doesn't it look like it?"

The two little boys were taken aback, then laughed; they really did look alike.

Hermione then forked a piece of sausage and shoved it directly into Kevin's mouth to shut him up, giving him a disapproving look as if to say, "Shut up!"

She was mainly worried that if Kevin kept stirring things up, he would get those two idiots to do something stupid, and then they would lose points again.

Just then, an owl flew in carrying a long package in its beak.

As it passed over Harry's head, it dropped the package, which Harry caught.

When the group opened it, they found it was a brand new flying broom, Nimbus 2000.

Harry looked towards where the owl had landed. It was Professor McGonagall, who was stroking the owl and smiling at Harry.

As the Headmistress of Gryffindor, she naturally hoped that Harry could help the Gryffindor Quidditch team achieve victory.

......

Soon it was time for the match. Harry went to the waiting area with the team, while Kevin and the others went to the stands.

Kevin wasn't interested in Quidditch, but as Harry's friend, he would definitely be there to cheer him on.

It's definitely not because he wants to set the old bat on fire for Hermione later, absolutely not!

The match began quickly, with the Gryffindor and Slytherin teams taking to the field, riding broomsticks and soaring through the air with great flair.

The cheering squads from both colleges also cheered loudly for their respective colleges.

From the very beginning, both teams displayed superb flying skills, weaving and maneuvering in various ways.

However, Gryffindor technique is clearly superior.

In particular, Captain and goalkeeper Wood made several impressive saves, preventing Slytherin from scoring a single point.

However, Slytherin quickly demonstrated their unique house characteristics.

That means using violent means to attack Gryffindor players in various ways.

Even Wood was stunned by the Slytherin captain's Walkball.

But this is not a foul.

Seeing Gryffindor's score reversed, Harry, who had been floating in the air for half a day, finally spotted the Golden Snitch and began the chase.

But before he could chase Harry for long, the broom under his bottom suddenly became unruly and started swinging wildly, threatening to throw Harry off at any moment.

Here it comes, scapegoat Snape is going to suffer!

Sure enough, Hermione, using her binoculars, quickly spotted Snape muttering something in the opposite stands, as if he were chanting a spell.

"Snape is casting a spell?" Hermione was incredulous. Because of Kevin, she also thought Snape was a good person. She never expected that he would actually harm Harry.

Hermione turned and looked at Kevin blankly, only to find that Kevin seemed quite excited.

"What are you standing there for? Let's go stop him!"

Kevin grabbed Hermione and ran towards the stands where Snape was.

Hermione knew the situation was urgent, so she decided to go with Kevin first.

Soon, the two sneaked to the back of Snape's stands, which were wooden tiered stands, and from behind, one could see directly the feet of the people sitting on them.

Kevin took out his wand and quietly walked to Snape's feet.

"Burning Flames!"

Unlike Hermione in the movie who set fire to her robes, Kevin set fire to Snape's seat!

A flame appeared, and Snape immediately felt a burning sensation beneath his buttocks.

He quickly stood up, and the wooden plank he was sitting on, along with his buttocks, caught fire!

A commotion immediately broke out in the audience on his side, affecting even the real culprit, Professor Quirrell, who was standing next to him. Harry's broom finally quieted down.

Harry instantly channeled Takumi Fujiwara's spirit, charging after the Golden Snitch.

After setting the fire, Kevin immediately grabbed Hermione and ran away, all the way to the bottom, where he finally couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! That old bat's pants got burned, I can just imagine his ugly expression, hahahaha!..."

Hermione patted Kevin on the chest, seemingly trying to maintain her composure and signal him to stop laughing. But seeing Kevin laughing so hard, and imagining Snape's embarrassing moment, she couldn't help but burst into laughter herself.

The two laughed for a while before leaving the stands together, just in time to see Harry spit out the Golden Snitch he had accidentally swallowed.

He successfully caught the Golden Snitch, ending the match, and Gryffindor won!

Everyone except the young wizards of Slytherin was cheering.

Snape looked pale and was breathing heavily.

The match ended in such a cheerful atmosphere.
