"Within the day!"

Xia Youjie raised his voice a notch, but was interrupted by a violent cough as soon as he uttered the words, and then fainted again.

"The bleeding has stopped."

Shoko Ieiri's voice was calm: "The internal organs are not damaged, but there has been excessive blood loss, and it will take time to recover."

She withdrew her hand, took a roll of bandage from the medical kit, and began to bandage Xia Youjie. Her movements were skilled and efficient, as if she had done it countless times before.

Wu Tiao Wu stood to the side, hands in his pockets, looking down at Xia Youjie's pale face without saying a word. His expression was very calm, almost too calm, but Tian Yan noticed that his hands in his pockets were clenched into fists.

Tenyan withdrew his gaze and looked at Nanami Kento: "Nanami, you said that Tennatsu Riko has been kidnapped?"

Gojo Satoru spoke up, his voice low but clear: "Who did it?"

Nanami Kento looked up at the two of them.

"have no idea."

Nanami Kento's voice was a little hoarse: "That person is very strong. Haibara and I couldn't even last one move against him."

He lowered his head and said in a low voice, "It was a man, wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and flip-flops, with a scar on the corner of his mouth."

Tianyan frowned. He did recognize someone with that appearance, but he thought that person wouldn't come back. This was unexpected.

Just then, Tianyan's phone vibrated.

He didn't speak, but took his phone out of his pocket. The screen was lit up, and an unread message lay in his inbox. He opened it and glanced at it, his pupils contracting slightly.

That was a photograph.

Riko was tied to a chair, a cloth stuffed in her mouth, her eyes wide open, filled with terror. Her face was unharmed, her clothes intact, and she appeared unremarkable.

The background of the photo is a gray-white wall with no windows and no signs indicating the location.

The photo was accompanied by a single line of text: an address, no signature, no threats, and no other words.

Tianyan flipped his phone over so the screen faced everyone.

The corridor fell silent for a moment.

Nanami Kento's expression changed, and Kuroi Misato covered her mouth, tears welling up between her fingers and streaming down the back of her hand.

Shoko Ieiri paused for a moment, then continued bandaging, but her lips were pressed into a thin line.

Gojo Satoru looked at the photo, his pupils narrowing slightly, and his hands, which were in his pockets, clenched even tighter.

"This is..." Nanami Kento's voice was a little dry.

"Just received it."

Tianyan's voice was calm, but there was a heavy, suppressed feeling in his tone: "No signature."

Gojo Satoru took the phone from his hand, looked down at the photo, remained silent for a moment, and then spoke. His voice was not loud, but it was very clear.

"I'll go take a look."

Xia Youjie's eyelids twitched.

Then, his eyes opened.

His pupils were still somewhat unfocused, like someone who had just surfaced from deep water. His gaze swept around, from Tenen's face to Gojo Satoru's face, from Gojo Satoru's face to Nanami Kento's face, and finally landed on Ieiri Shoko.

"Glass..."

His voice was hoarse, as if it had been sanded on sandpaper, each word carrying a weak, broken strength, "What are you doing here...?"

Shoko Ieiri glanced at him, her hands still moving: "You're seriously injured, of course I'm here."

Xia Youjie frowned slightly, as if trying to recall something, and then his pupils suddenly contracted.

He tried to struggle, but was jerked by the intense pain.

Ieiri Shoko pressed down on his shoulder: "Don't move."

"Nanami..."

Xia Youjie looked at Qi Haijianren, his eyes filled with an anxious, almost pleading expression: "What about Tian Tian? How is Tian Tian?"

Nanami Kento looked at him, paused for a second, and then spoke in a low voice: "You've been kidnapped."

The corridor fell silent for a moment.

Xia Youjie's eyes widened, his lips parted as if he wanted to say something, but in the end, he said nothing. He just stared at the ceiling, his eyes vacant, like a person who had been drained of all his strength.

Gojo Satoru's voice broke the silence from the side: "Jay, don't overthink it, this isn't your fault."

He returned Tianyan's phone to him, put his hands back in his pockets, tilted his head, looked at Xia Youjie, and slightly curved the corners of his mouth. That smile did not have the usual playfulness and casualness, but a more serious smile with a sense of comfort.

"This attack was premeditated."

He said calmly, "The other side knows our personnel configuration, knows Riko Tennen's location, and even knows that I went to Tokyo."

He paused, then the smile widened further: "This isn't something you can stop by yourself."

Xia Youjie was silent for a moment, then closed his eyes.

"Hmm." His voice was very soft, almost inaudible.

After finishing bandaging, Ieiri Glass stood up, put the used gauze and cotton wool into the medical kit, then looked at Tenen and then at Gojo Satoru.

"What do we do next?" she asked.

Gojo Satoru picked up Tenen's phone and glanced at it again, his gaze landing on the address, and the corners of his mouth slowly curved up.

"Let's go take a look." His tone was as relaxed as if he were saying, "The weather's nice today, let's go for a walk."

Xia Youjie opened his eyes and tried to sit up, supporting himself on the ground. Jia Ru Xiaozi reached out and helped him, letting his back lean against the wall.

His face was still pale, but his eyes were clearer than before.

"I'll go too."

Gojo Satoru glanced at him and shook his head.

"no."

His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an undeniable certainty: "What you need right now is rest."

Xia Youjie's lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he didn't say anything. He lowered his head and looked at the bandage on his chest. Faint bloodstains were still seeping through the white gauze, which looked somewhat glaring under the light.

Although Gojo Satoru said "rest," it sounded to him like, "You'd only be a hindrance if you went in your current state."

Gojo Satoru withdrew his gaze and looked at Tenyan: "Tenyan, let's go together."

Tianyan nodded.

Gojo Satoru turned and walked towards the window at the end of the corridor, his steps light and quick, his shoes making a 'tap tap tap' sound on the marble floor. When he reached the window, he stopped, turned his head, and glanced at Xia Youjie.

"Jay".

Xia Youjie looked up at him.

"I'll leave this place to you. We'll be right back."

He leaped out of the window. Tianyan followed behind him, his purple-gold bone wings unfurling behind him, spanning over three meters, with purple-gold light patterns flowing across the membrane, shimmering in the sunlight.

The two figures quickly disappeared into the sky. One flew through the air, leaving a long white trail behind him. The speed was so fast that the air was torn open with a visible crack. The other followed behind, his purple-gold bone wings vibrating in the wind. Each vibration propelled his body forward a great distance.

Xia Youjie leaned against the wall, watching the two figures grow smaller and smaller, his gaze complex.

He lowered his head, looked at the bandage on his chest, and remained silent for a long time.
