Chapter 11 Logan the Macho Man
"Sura's corruption? I'd like to see what's going on."
Logan was a little curious.
"Look! Aren't these Jonah and Sean? It's been a few days, and they even brought us a tent as a gift!"
The effeminate-looking Black man at the head of the group licked his lips and whistled lewdly at Logan, asking, "Where did you get this white girl?"
Logan was utterly disgusted, a chill ran down his spine, and he instantly lost all curiosity about what Slaanesh's corruption was. He immediately asked Sean beside him:
"Who the hell is this? It's disgusting!"
"Davin, the 'sodomite,' a notorious homeless man from Nantong in Pioneer Square, has a thing for handsome young white guys like you, boss."
When Sean saw the three men, he pulled Jonah, who was still working, to stand in front of Logan. Jonah, upon seeing the newcomers, began to berate them:
"Fuck off! Davin! This is our brother! This tent has nothing to do with you! Get the hell out of here! You're not welcome here!"
"How dare you talk to me like that? Don't you two ever learn? Didn't you get enough last time? Don't think I never sleep with black guys!"
Davin and his two companions each held a steel pipe, a wooden stick, and a tree branch in front of them, waving them as they approached.
No one stepped forward to stop him, nor did anyone join in the coercion; everyone was watching and seeing whether this new face was a coward or a tough guy.
Compared to the nervousness of his two black underlings, Logan didn't seem flustered at all.
His muscles have now roughly returned to their peak condition, muscles honed through three years of military service. Dealing with these three black homeless men would be a piece of cake.
"This is a good opportunity to test my current skill level, intimidate any potential troublemakers among the homeless, and complete a task while I'm at it."
"However, there's still one thing that needs to be confirmed."
"Sean, do those three have any connections to gangs, or any police or similar backgrounds?"
"No, they're just a bunch of cowards who rummage through trash cans and rob homeless people. No gang would bother with them, and they're even less likely to have any connection with the police."
Sean quickly explained, picking up a wooden stick from the ground and, together with Jonah who was also holding a stick, completely shielded Logan.
"Boss, if things get bad, run and go find Lenny to teach them a lesson."
Jonah finally learned to speak softly, but his voice seemed to tremble with nervousness.
It seems that the three people opposite them really did beat them up badly.
Logan pushed through the two men and squeezed his way to the front, whispering as he went:
"Don't worry, boss, I'll take care of it."
Under the shocked gazes of his two henchmen, he stepped in front of them, stretched out his hand to block Davin and his two companions, and then said:
"I'm short on time; I need to set up the tent. Let's cut to the chase. Are you three going to be beaten up all at once, or one by one?"
Davin, as if he had seen a rare treasure, turned his head left and right and joined his companions in laughing heartily:
Did you hear what he said?
"Haha, it seems like they're extending an invitation to us."
"Hehehe! Boss, say yes!"
Davin joked and laughed with his underlings, then brandished the steel pipe in his hand, glanced up and down at the unarmed, handsome white man in front of him, and stepped forward alone:
"Then I'll play along with you. Don't worry, I'll go easy on you."
Logan gestured to the two men behind him not to follow, and then stepped forward alone.
Jonah tried to dissuade him again, but Sean grabbed him and reminded him, "Look closely at the boss's physique. Is there any difference compared to before?"
Jonah looked him up and down, then said, "Looks stronger and more stable."
"That's right, Jonah. You know, the boss used to be a veteran, and he was really good at fighting! He used to wear loose clothes that completely covered his body, but now he's wearing work clothes that he got from somewhere, which shows off his muscular physique."
Sean was much more confident. "So don't worry, the boss will beat them to a pulp."
Seeing Logan's calm demeanor, without a trace of fear or panic in his eyes, and even a hint of disdain, Davin became utterly enraged and swung the steel pipe at his neck.
Logan leaned back to dodge the attack, then raised his right foot and kicked the opponent hard in the stomach.
The black man was like a blackened leaf, flying backwards in the wind and crashing heavily three meters away.
This blow was powerful and heavy, damaging Daven's core, leaving him with no strength to support himself.
The two companions were momentarily confused and stood there dumbfounded.
"Let's use this mission to upgrade Khorne; a value of only 1 is still too low."
"The Blood God must absolutely crave blood."
Logan caught up in two strides, ignoring Davin's pleas for mercy, and drew his combat knife from his waist, carving a bloody cross into Davin's abdomen, warning him:
"Take your henchmen and get out of here! If you ever dare to come back here again, I'll beat you up every time I see you, you hear me!"
Davin nodded vigorously, his double abdominal pain rendering him completely incapable of thinking.
"And another thing!" Logan pointed at Jonathan Shawn, "From now on, whenever you see them, treat them like you're seeing me. Stay far away from them! Understand?"
This time, the nods were enthusiastic and forceful.
Logan stood up and made way for them. The two stunned henchmen finally came to their senses and helped Daven escape from the waterfall park.
He then scanned his surroundings. No one in the park dared to have any designs on him anymore. Everyone had their heads down, not daring to look him over. Only a few people made eye contact for a second before immediately looking away.
"Great, now I don't have to worry about the tent being stolen or robbed."
"A muscular body is still more useful; now I have some ability to protect myself."
[Mission Completed: This is Not Glorious]
You successfully drove away the three astral soldiers and established a fierce and brave image in front of the two orc recruits.

Blood can come from anywhere, whether it's splattered on the battlefield or settled in the machines of a corpse starch processing plant; it can all be appreciated by the Blood God. However, blood plundered from the defeated or the weak will be considered cheating by the Blood God.
After waiting for a long time, Logan did not receive any numerical reward.
"..."
"In other words, I'm supposed to generate blood during the fight..."
"Actually, it seems like even if I didn't make that final cross, it would still increase the Khorne stat..."
"Don't install this next time..."
Logan returned to his two underlings and said casually, "Alright, got it figured out, let's get back to setting up the tent."
"God damn! Boss, you're amazing!"
"One kick taught Davin what a real man is!"
Jonah and Sean were incredibly excited. With such a capable fighter by their side, they would never be bullied on the streets again.
The two were full of energy and finished setting up the tent and laying out the interior in less than 20 minutes.
After saying goodbye to the two, Logan burrowed into his sleeping bag, enjoying the long-lost warmth.
He's been through so much today, his body went through five upgrades, he's exhausted both physically and mentally, and he really needs a rest.
He slept for an unknown amount of time, then opened his eyes contentedly, stepped out of the tent, and stretched the most comfortable stretch he hadn't had in days.
As dusk fell, Logan turned on his old phone and confirmed the time was around 7 p.m.
The temperature had begun to drop, and he was shivering uncontrollably, wearing only his work clothes.
"Time to pick up the clothes that are drying in the self-service laundry room."
I had only taken a few steps when I heard some painful groans coming from the tent of my two younger brothers next door.
Logan went around to the entrance and saw Jonah curled up on the ground, clutching his stomach in pain, while Sean sat beside him, holding his forehead.
"What happened? What's wrong with Jonah?" he asked.
Sean looked up, his brows already furrowed: "Jonah has a chronic stomach ailment caused by hunger. We didn't get any free food tonight, and we couldn't find anything edible in the trash."
[Quest received: Waaagh...]
