I sparked a mythological frenzy in Marvel.

Chapter 13 I'm sure you wouldn't mind taking the blame for the country, would you?

Chapter 13 I'm sure you wouldn't mind taking the blame for the country, would you?

"These barbarians, these disobedient, ugly monsters, how could they be like this?"

Inside the command center, General James roared once again.

The special envoy sent by the lords is now a corpse, and the lords are naturally furious about this, blaming him for not teaching these barbarians a lesson and instead trying to negotiate with them.

What? You're saying this was ordered by the lords to send people to negotiate?

It was clearly General James who repeatedly pleaded that it was not advisable to use force, and that as long as an envoy was sent to persuade them to surrender, that rude monster like Banner would surely surrender without a second thought.

The gentlemen believed your nonsense and, not wanting the young men to get hurt, agreed to your absurd request.

Now that things have come to this, how are we going to clean up this mess?

As for how Admiral James will handle this situation, well, that's for sure.

"Ross, I believed your nonsense, and look what happened. Tell me, how are we going to clean this up?"

Ross was startled. Wasn't that what he had just heard on the phone? Wasn't that the president's insult?

What, you're asking me now?

"Your Excellency, what did I do wrong?"

Ross's voice carried a hint of disbelief and grievance. He straightened his back and looked firmly at General James, trying to maintain his stance and dignity in front of the enraged commander.

"What did you do wrong? How dare you ask me? You sent your daughter to try to persuade those barbarians in order to get promoted, and after failing, you tried to rescue her through a special envoy from Congress."

Now that the special envoy has been killed, what do you suggest we do? Where did you go wrong?

Upon hearing this, Ross understood, he understood everything.

This bastard wants to shift the blame onto me and make me take the responsibility!

In America, whether the blame is yours or not, if someone tries to make you take the fall, you'd better find a way to get rid of it.

Otherwise, you'll take all the responsibility while he reaps the benefits.

The officials smoothly shifted the blame onto General James's head, in order not to lose their positions.

This general, who was an expert at shifting blame, quickly took the blame upon himself.

There are only two senior generals present now, so who can Ross shift the blame to?

Even if he was just dismissed, this excuse doesn't hold water, and he can't shift the blame back to his former employer.

After all, it was just verbal and there was no written document, so how could it be considered valid?

What? You're saying you can check the recording?

Cough cough, what if they actually find something?

So, Rose has to take the blame for this. Who told him to be treated like that by the Red Giant? Now even this hawk isn't speaking with any backbone.

Ross took a deep breath, a look of determination and resentment flashing in his eyes.

He knew that arguing at this moment would only drag him deeper into the mire, and General James's intentions were all too clear: to sacrifice him to save himself.

In this battlefield where power and interests intertwine, the weak often become the victims.

"Your Excellency, I admit that I misjudged the situation, but I never had any selfish motives. Sending my daughter to carry out this mission was a helpless move on my part as a father. I hoped to achieve peace at the lowest possible cost."

As for the special envoy's sacrifice, I am deeply saddened and willing to bear the due responsibility.

Ross's voice was deep and powerful, each word seemingly squeezed out from between his teeth, revealing his inner struggle and defiance.

"Very good, it's good that you know you were wrong. Get ready, this time we're going to teach these barbarians a lesson!"

Get ready? Get ready for what? Didn't you get fired? Could it be that...?

Thinking of this, Ross felt a surge of excitement again.

If we can defeat or even capture Banner and his gang in one fell swoop.

So, not only will the blame be lifted, but maybe one day we can even take a step further?

But Rose was unaware of the cold smile on Admiral James's face as he watched Rose's smug expression.

"Pass down the order: all combat units must immediately enter a state of first-level combat readiness and assemble as quickly as possible. Let's teach those barbarians a lesson!"

After giving the order, General James turned to look at Rose.

"Ross, you know Banner best. You have experience. You'll be in charge of this operation."

Sure enough, this was compensation after he took the blame.

"Boss, the military has already assembled. Shall we charge out and fight now?"

Looking at the military forces that had already assembled and were ready to fight, Bronsky licked his lips, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

Heavy tanks roared in, assault vehicles roamed the wilderness, and the noise of armed helicopters was deafening, accompanied by deafening roars. The entire battlefield seemed to be shaken by this force, dust flew, and tension and unease filled the air.

However, Banner and his soldiers showed no fear in the face of this seemingly overwhelming military force.

"Of course, the Blood God is getting impatient. It's time for us believers to offer sacrifices to the Blood God with the blood of our enemies."

"Brothers, it's time to show our strength!" Banner shouted, his voice piercing through the battlefield's clamor and reaching the ears of every warrior.

His voice was full of power and conviction, as if it could ignite the fighting spirit deep within everyone's heart.

At Banner's command, the warriors of the Chaos Warband surged toward the enemy's position like a tidal wave.

They wielded all sorts of weapons; some brandished sharp axes, others wielded heavy greatswords, and still others were equipped with modern guns and cannons.

They charged towards the enemy without regard for their own safety, vowing to offer sacrifices to the Blood God with the enemy's blood.

Banner charged forward, wielding his warhammer.

Da da da da.

Whistling flames erupted, and the sounds of gunfire continued incessantly.

Deadly bullets struck Banner and his henchmen; the firepower that could have torn ordinary people to shreds only managed to leave dents and splatter blood on their bodies.

This damage was inflicted on the newly recruited soldiers; the impact on Banner was even smaller, leaving not even a mark, as if raindrops had hit him.

"It's a monster!"

The squad members operating the machine gun were all dumbfounded; they had never seen anything like it before.

It's understandable that Banner isn't afraid of bullets, but why aren't the former soldiers who followed Banner also afraid of bullets?

There have long been rumors in the army that the gods have bestowed power upon Banner and his followers.

Now it seems, could this really be true?

But whether it's true or not, Banner's hammer is about to smash into his own head!
