Hogwarts Summoning Guide.

Fred pretended to wipe away tears and said, "Hogwarts has finally, finally, finally hired a handsome guy as a teacher. I used to think that to become a teacher, you had to be an oddball first, so I've been working hard..."

Aside from Harry, Hermione and Ron were also surprised to learn that Hagrid and Whitescale were actually their Magical Creatures Protection teachers. They then joined in the applause. Harry first looked at Bai Lin with shining eyes, then turned to Hagrid, who was blushing and wiping his eyes with a tablecloth. For Hagrid, becoming a teacher at Hogwarts was of great significance. His current appointment symbolized his official return to Hogwarts.

"Alright, that's enough about the important things. Let's begin the feast!" Dumbledore said happily.

Suddenly, everyone's gold plates and wine glasses were filled with food and drinks. The difference was that the students' glasses were mostly filled with juice, while the teachers' tables were filled with fine wine.

It was truly a grand and lively event. The auditorium echoed with laughter and cheers from various colleges. Everyone kept glancing at Bai Lin with great optimism, secretly discussing what earth-shattering changes the new semester would bring.

Bai Lin and Dumbledore frequently raised their glasses in greeting, and Dumbledore accepted all toasts. Finally, the last dish was finished, and Dumbledore announced that everyone should return to their respective houses to prepare for bed.

The three children finally managed to get close to Hagrid to offer their warmest congratulations. Harry also walked over to Bai Lin and said, "Welcome to Hogwarts! I mean, thank you!"

Bai Lin patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "You've always been great. Believe in yourself, and I'm very happy to be your teacher!"

Hagrid was about to burst into tears, but Professor McGonagall ruthlessly came over and chased them away, and everyone dispersed with smiles on their faces.

The term officially began, and Bai Lin was no longer required to stay at Hagrid's cottage. However, Dumbledore insisted on placing Bai Lin in Hufflepuff House (representing honesty, kindness, and integrity, where most students are mediocre but good people), instead of sending him to Gryffindor with Harry and the others.

Although Bai Lin was quite reluctant to leave, the Hufflepuff students were very happy. A group of senior students surrounded Bai Lin, and as they walked, they sang the Hufflepuff team's anthem—a simple yet joyful melody. They walked past the passageway leading to the house-elf kitchen and arrived at their dormitory.

Meanwhile, in Gryffindor's dormitory, Harry lay comfortably on his bed, feeling like he was finally home; Hermione, on the other hand, was still preoccupied with Bai Lin's image, but the two quickly shook their heads, each taking out books from their bags, and before the lights went out, they studied some more magical knowledge.

The next morning, Bai Lin walked into the Great Hall for breakfast, full of energy. The house-elves at Hogwarts were incredibly skilled, almost as good as Bai Lin's mother. Of course, their Western-style barbecue and pastries were even more amazing, and there was no limit to the amount. If he could go back, Bai Lin would love to bring a house-elf back to the real world.

From afar, they saw Malfoy teasing Harry as usual, but Harry didn't give him a friendly look. Without fear, he bumped shoulders with a Slytherin high school student, then coldly drew his wand, looking ready to fight at any moment. Hermione was terrified and quickly pulled Harry away.

From afar, they could still hear Ron muttering, "Why are you dragging us away? We could beat Malfoy to a pulp..."

"What a wonderful youth, isn't it?" Bai Lin said with a smile to Professor Lupin sitting opposite him. Lupin had once been a member of the Hogwarts' troublemaking quartet, the "Marauders," and had caused quite a bit of trouble during his student days. He seemed to be thinking about his own youth as well, and couldn't help but smile meaningfully at Bai Lin.

However, it was estimated that she used all that talent on opening her "Third Eye." She only made three successful prophecies throughout the entire book; most of the time, she seemed like a crazy, charlatan.

In the afternoon, there was the first Magical Creatures Protection class. Bai Lin politely said goodbye to Lupin—Lupin was going to catch a Boggart, a shapeshifter, for tomorrow's Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Then, Bai Lin hummed a little tune as he headed to Hagrid's hut.

Hagrid's cabin was quite lively in the morning. Buckbeak was chasing and playing with his hound, Tooth, in the open space, while the ginger cat Crookshank and a large black dog paced anxiously back and forth under the eaves.

Hagrid should have gone fishing in the Black Lake by now, and this was a perfect opportunity to make Buckbeak more obedient in class that afternoon.

The large black dog spotted Bai Lin from afar, leaped onto the stone stool next to the hut in a few swift movements, and glared fiercely at Bai Lin.

Bai Lin showed the big dog his magic wand, which was still tucked inside his clothes, to indicate that he meant no harm. He then pulled the wooden door, which was indeed unlocked, and let the big dog in as well.

Bai Lin poured two cups of black tea without any ceremony and said, "Black, let's talk!" Then he pointed to the chair opposite the big dog.

The large black dog growled at Bai Lin, who shrugged and said, "Sirius is an unregistered Animagus, and I can clearly draw his animal form. Just for that, I can get at least 3000 Galleons in bounty. So, let's not waste time, okay? For Harry, for Voldemort to be killed completely, we don't have much time."

Upon hearing Harry's name, the large black dog bared its fangs fiercely, but quickly calmed down and began to transform. To Bai Lin's amazement, the black dog transformed into a pale, gaunt man with disheveled hair and a brittle, yellowish beard—Sirius Black.

"Kelyn White! What are you up to, an employee of the Ministry of Magic?!" Black pointed his wand at White Scale.

Bai Lin glanced at Black's magic power: 62 points. It must have been after 12 years in Azkaban that his magic power had decreased instead of increased. Bai Lin, on the other hand, had 49 points of magic power after his special training and encounter with Dementors. With his rapid spellcasting in Chinese, he might not necessarily lose to Black.
