Hogwarts: My Grandmother is the Queen

Chapter 204 Club Establishment
"You should practice the basic spells first," Percy said, glancing at him.
"I'm already practicing." Ron's face flushed slightly.
"How's the practice going?"
"----good."
Percy sighed. "After we get back to the common room tonight, I'll teach you and Ginny some basic spells."
.
"No need—" Ron's face turned even redder.
"Practice it." Percy's tone left no room for argument. "Otherwise, it would be embarrassing to go next Wednesday."
Ron opened his mouth, wanting to refute, but then swallowed his words.
Harry was trying to suppress a laugh, while Hermione was already rummaging through her bag.
"Percy," she said, "I've been reading a book on advanced defense magic lately, and there's a chapter about Barrier Charms that I haven't quite understood. Could you help me with that?"
Percy took the book, flipped through it, and then looked at Hermione.
"The key to this spell lies in the angle of the wand and the stability of your intention. You can't swing the wand too high, or the barrier will crack."
He began to gesture on the table, his movements slow and careful.
Hermione listened intently, her eyes shining.
Ron and Harry exchanged a glance and smiled simultaneously.
The sunlight outside the window gradually slanted westward. Half of the snacks on the table were gone, and the teapot was empty once. Lucy quietly refilled the hot water and retreated to the corner.
Percy finished explaining the Barrier Charm to Hermione, and then demonstrated the Disarming Charm, which would be used in the duel, to Ron.
"You see," he slowed down, "the key is the explosive power of the wrist, not the strength of the arm."
Ron tried once, but it still went astray.
"Again," Percy sighed.
Ron tried again, and this time he hit the target, but not with enough force.
"Again."
The third time, it finally turned out decent.
Percy nodded, his expression finally softening somewhat.
"Not bad. I'll practice again tonight."
Ron breathed a sigh of relief and slumped into his chair.
"worn out."
Percy glanced at him, somewhat helplessly.
"You think dueling is like eating snacks?"
Ron shook his head and took another scone.
When the tea party ended, Percy stood up and straightened his robe.
His movements were just as meticulous as when he came in, but his expression was much gentler.
"Henry," he said, extending his hand, "thank you."
Henry shook hands with him.
"You're welcome. See you next Wednesday."
"See you next Wednesday," Percy said. "I'll be bringing a few upperclassmen from Gryffindor; they should be interested too."
"it is good."
Percy nodded and turned to walk towards the door.
After taking two steps, he suddenly stopped and turned around.
"Ron."
Ron was putting the last cookie into his mouth when he heard his name called and almost choked.
"Um?
'
"7 p.m., common room, don't forget."
Ron's face fell again.
"----knew."
After Percy left, Ron watched his figure disappear through the door and sighed.
"That's just how he is," he told Henry. "He meddles in everything, worries about everything, but he's not a bad person."
"I know," Henry nodded with a smile.
After the tea party, they parted ways in the corridor, and Henry walked back to the cellar alone.
In the Slytherin common room, Draco sat in his usual armchair, a Potions class notebook open in front of him, but he was clearly not looking at it.
His gaze kept drifting towards the door, and when he saw Henry come in, he immediately sat up straight.
"How did it go?" he asked. "That Weasley—Percy Weasley, did he agree?"
Henry sat down opposite him and crossed his legs.
"I've agreed. I'll come next Wednesday, and I'll bring a few upperclassmen from Gryffindor with me."
Draco's expression was somewhat complicated; his eyebrows were slightly furrowed, as if he were processing the news.
"It's good that he's here." His tone carried a hint of trying to convince himself. "At least the Gryffindors will listen to him, and you won't have to call Potter every time."
"You're right," Henry said with a smile.
Pansy leaned over from the sofa next to her. She had been whispering to Daphne and probably heard Percy's name.
"Percy Weasley's coming?" Her voice held a hint of surprise. "The Gryffindor prefect? Ron Weasley's brother?"
"Yes," Henry said. "He agreed to provide guidance to the Duel Club."
Pansy and Daphne exchanged a glance.
"So, how do you plan to promote it in Gryffindor?" Pansy asked. "I don't think it will be effective if Percy alone talks about it."
Henry leaned back in his chair, his fingers tapping lightly on the rim of his teacup.
"Percy will handle Gryffindor," he said. "After all, he's the prefect, and his words carry weight—besides, there's Potter, isn't there? Since this is our first time hosting a dueling club, we don't need to invite too many people. We'll start on a small scale and gradually expand outwards. We can't try to take on a dragon all at once."
Over the next few days, the news began to spread quietly throughout the castle.
It wasn't the kind of big-scale publicity; there were no posters, no announcements, and no one standing in the auditorium shouting.
It's only mentioned occasionally, but most people aren't really interested.
In the Slytherin common room, Draco chose to speak on Sunday night when everyone was present.
"There's something I need to tell you." He stood up, his voice not loud, but the common room fell silent. "Henry has started a dueling club, every Wednesday night at seven o'clock, on the eighth floor. Anyone who wants to come is welcome. Just let me know if you want to sign up."
After saying that, he sat down and continued flipping through his Potions class notes.
The common room was quiet for a moment, then people began to talk quietly.
"Duel Club?"
"Eighth floor? Is there any room on the eighth floor?"
"Who organized it? Henry Wales? That royal?"
"Miss Farley is going too? Really?"
Several younger students gathered around and asked Draco curiously.
Draco answered a few questions simply—next Wednesday at 7 p.m., on the eighth floor, opposite the troll tapestry, you'll find out when you get there.
Pansy started doing it too. She has a few acquaintances in Ravenclaw, people she usually runs into in the library or hallways.
She didn't specifically seek out anyone; she simply turned to the Ravenclaw girl next to her during Charms class while Professor Flitwick was writing on the blackboard.
By Tuesday, about fifteen or sixteen people had signed up. From Gryffindor, there were the classic trio, Seamus and Neville; from Hufflepuff, it was Hannah, Justin, Susan and Ernie Macmillan; from Ravenclaw, it was Cho Chang and Michael Corner; and from Slytherin—the entire second year was participating, even Blaise Zabini, who was usually not very noticeable, had signed up.
