Chapter 69 Three cards per person

He glanced around to make sure no students were paying too much attention before leaning closer to Victor, his eyes wide, and eagerly asking, "How does it feel? I mean—the diadem! You used it last night—did you? How did it feel? Oh, Merlin's beard! That's Rowena Ravenclaw's creation! A true legend!"

"Is it, like the legends say, capable of making one's mind race like lightning and granting photographic memory? Can you feel a vast amount of knowledge flooding into your mind? Is it helpful for research? A huge help, isn't it?"

He bombarded him with a barrage of questions.

His short body trembled slightly with excitement, his face filled with boundless longing and curiosity for the power of the founder's relics.

Viktor understood his feelings.

As the Dean of Ravenclaw, Professor Flitwick's reverence for the founder was ingrained in his very being.

Being able to get so close to the crown and witness it being handed over to someone else was undoubtedly an incredibly exciting event for him.

Viktor cut off a piece of roasted lamb chop, slowly put it in his mouth, chewed and swallowed it, and then, under Professor Flitwick's almost burning gaze, smiled and answered.

"It feels very—unique, Professor Flitwick, it has truly been a tremendous help to me."

"However, it's not like some exaggerated legends suggest, where a massive amount of knowledge is directly poured in. Principal Dumbledore was right; it's more like an incredibly powerful 'mind tool.'"

"Wearing it will put you into a very calm and focused state, with external distractions almost disappearing. More importantly, it can help you better organize, sort out, and utilize your existing knowledge, making your thought process extremely clear and efficient, and even—allowing you to re-examine what you have already mastered from different angles, generating new inspiration and connections."

"For research and learning," Viktor concluded sincerely.

"It is truly priceless. As expected of the Ravenclaw lady's crown, its design concept and magical principles still seem advanced and ingenious even today."

These descriptions alone were enough to excite Professor Flitwick.

"I knew it! Oh, I knew it!" Professor Flitwick excitedly waved his little fist, almost knocking over the pumpkin juice jar beside him. "To enlighten, not to give, wisdom! That's the true philosophy of Madam Ravenclaw! The crown is a tool, a catalyst, the key to the temple of thought! Fantastic, absolutely fantastic!"

He rambled on about his excitement and admiration for the founder's wisdom, only calming down after a while before seriously enjoying his lunch, though the smile on his lips never faded.

Victor continued his meal with a smile, his mood brightened by the morning's breakthrough and his friend's joy.

Shortly after lunch, it was time for the fifth-grade class on the protection of magical creatures.

Today's class will be held in the extended space of Victor's suitcase, a simulated forest environment on the edge of the Scottish Highlands.

The weather was magically adjusted to be sunny and comfortable, with a gentle breeze carrying the scent of grass and trees.

Perhaps because he was in a good mood, Viktor didn't start today's classes with theoretical explanations or in-class quizzes to put pressure on the students, as he usually does in some classes.

Instead, the more than 20 fifth-grade students were divided into several groups and given basic survival kits containing limited water, compressed food, simple tents, basic white spirit, etc. They were then given a practical task simulating wilderness survival and the observation and rescue of magical animals.

"Your mission is to safely spend the next hour and a half within this simulated area."

"During this time, you will need to use your knowledge to find safe campsites, identify edible plants, handle simulated dangers that you may encounter, and most importantly..."

He pointed deeper into the forest: "There are several magically simulated injured animals there, ranging from Bowtruckles to Moonfoxes."

"You need to work in groups to find them, assess the injuries," and provide "first aid" in a proper and gentle manner.

"Remember, calmness, observation, proper techniques, and minimizing disturbance are the core of conservation efforts."

The young wizards were initially confused, but then their eyes lit up!

This is much more interesting than sitting in a classroom reciting texts or memorizing features from specimens! It's full of challenges and a sense of adventure from the unknown!

"Remember, safety first. In case of danger beyond your control," you can fire a red signal spell. However, each time it is fired, the team's evaluation level will decrease by one grade.

Victor added, then waved, "Now, let's begin! Have a good time with the 'animals'!"

For the next hour and a half, the suitcase space was filled with the excited yet nervous chatter of students and the sound of cautious footsteps.

The low gasp when discovering the "injured person," and the earnest look when trying to cast healing or soothing spells.

Viktor walked quietly through the woods, observing the performance of each group, sometimes nodding, sometimes shaking his head.

Occasionally, they would step in to correct any mistakes that might cause secondary harm to the simulated animals, or secretly add a "surprise" to a group that performed exceptionally well.

They used shapeshifting to conjure mountain monsters and other creatures to launch a sneak attack on the young wizards.

At the end of the course, most students looked a little tired, but their faces were flushed with excitement and satisfaction.

They discussed their recent experiences, comparing which group found more "injured people," whose techniques were the most precise, and which response was the most thrilling and exciting.

Seeing their energetic appearance, Victor's smile deepened.

"It seems everyone had a fulfilling and fun time." He clapped his hands, drawing the students' attention.

"Today's practice is to help you understand more deeply that protecting magical animals is not just about learning about them in books, but also about how to live with them in real life and provide appropriate, non-intrusive help when they need it. I hope you have gained something from it."

The students nodded in agreement, and many of them did indeed see something more vivid in their eyes than just pure knowledge memorization.

"So, as a reward for your active participation today, and—" Viktor paused, his smile growing even brighter, "—it's preparation for the more complex situations you may encounter in the future."

With a wave of his wand, a thick stack of parchment scrolls appeared out of thin air and then flew precisely to each student.

"This is a comprehensive review and extension of information on the habits of all the amazing animals involved in today's simulation practice, the identification and treatment of common injuries and diseases, and the basic rules of wilderness survival."

"Each of you will receive three test papers, covering multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, and situational analysis questions. Everyone, please do your best in your demonstrations!"

Viktor said with a smile, ignoring the excited expressions that froze on the students' faces and their eyes that gradually widened.

"Let's solidify today's 'practical experience'. get out of class dismissed!"

"No--!!!"

"professor!!!"

Three?! Merlin!

The fifth graders, who had just been in high spirits, suddenly burst into wails.

Watching the students who had instantly fallen from heaven to "exam hell" with their tearful, frustrated expressions, I was deeply saddened.

Viktor cheerfully put away his wand, turned around, and left the briefcase space with light steps, leaving behind a "miserable world."
