"That's no ordinary drone!"

Kyle's voice trembled slightly; he had served in the military. "It's a military-grade one, it can run underwater, it's called a UUV! The Ghost series!"

As soon as Kyle finished speaking, two more searchlights were turned on on the platform called Prometheus.

The three beams of light illuminated the small speedboat and made the surrounding sea surface very bright.

The alarm got louder; it felt like my ears were going to break.

It sounds like you can still hear people shouting on the platform, and footsteps running around.

But Shen Fei wasn't flustered at all.

As soon as the alarm sounded, his consciousness seemed to sink into the icy sea.

Shen Fei's mental power quickly grew, covering the entire sea.

He "saw" the thing called a ghost, and knew it only did a few things: find the target, follow the target, and then take a picture.

He also "heard" a voice from below the platform, which was scanning the location of their speedboat.

There's no way to escape using ordinary methods.

"Kyle, prepare to set sail, go as fast as you can, and wait for my orders."

Shen Fei's voice sounded very calm.

Then he shouted again, louder than the alarm:

"Activate the Wrath of the Sea God! Level 3 Interference!"

"What is this?"

Kyle found it strange; he had never heard of such a system on the ship.

But he was a soldier before, so without thinking much, his hand instinctively went to press a row of unused buttons on the control panel.

Just as Kyle pressed down, Shen Fei closed his eyes.

He focused all his mental energy on the seawater beneath the speedboat!

There wasn't much sound either.

Centered on the speedboat, the sea surface within a hundred meters suddenly began to distort.

A great force rose from the seabed, and the once calm seawater suddenly boiled over, with many bubbles rising and forming a white whirlpool.

The approaching ghost UUV slowed down immediately upon entering the area.

Its propellers spun incredibly fast, but it could only spin in place. Its sensors were also damaged by the signals from the numerous bubbles, so it couldn't see anything.

When the staff on the platform saw this, they all exclaimed.

Because on their sonar screen, the target suddenly disappeared, and the screen was filled with a jumble of static.

But this is just the beginning.

"roar--"

A cry, the source of which was unknown, came from the deep sea.

The sound didn't come from the air; it traveled directly through the seawater and the ship, vibrating through Shen Fei and Kyle's bones.

Kyle stared wide-eyed at the sea.

He then saw a large, dark shadow rapidly rising to the surface next to the speedboat.

The next second, a tentacle thicker than a bucket burst out of the water and slammed into the UUV struggling in the whirlpool with great force.

"Bang!"

A loud bang.

That very expensive military underwater vehicle was shot off, circled several times in the sky, and fell into the darkness in the distance.

Its red camera flashed through the air and then went out.

At the same time, Shen Fei also controlled another force, which created a giant wave several meters high.

The wave blocked the view between the speedboat and the platform.

"Let's go now!"

Shen Fei shouted loudly.

Kyle then realized what was happening and floored the accelerator.

The engine of the sea-going Terminator roared and plunged into the shadow cast by the giant waves, quickly disappearing into the night.

The speedboat sailed at sea for more than half an hour, until the alarms and lights behind it disappeared from sight, before Kyle slowly reduced the speed.

He was covered in cold sweat, and his hands were trembling slightly.

He looked back at the now calm, dark sea, still feeling frightened and confused.

"Boss... that... the Wrath of the Sea God system?"

Kyle's voice was a little hoarse. "Can it... summon a sea monster?"

Shen Fei leaned back in his chair, his face pale. It was obvious that he had used too much mental energy and felt extremely tired.

He answered calmly:

"It's a system still in the experimental stage, capable of emitting infrasound and electromagnetic pulses. I had the manufacturer add it secretly. Theoretically, it can generate a lot of bubbles on the seabed, interfering with sonar. As for that big guy..."

Shen Fei paused for a moment, then made up a reason:

"It's possible that the frequency of our system just happened to provoke a nearby deep-sea creature, making it think an enemy was approaching. We were lucky; it mistook that UUV for a target."

Kyle had served in the military and was used to following orders, so he had no doubt about this statement.

Anyway, it's all high-tech stuff, so he can understand it.

His gaze toward Shen Fei shifted from respect to admiration.

He felt that his boss was not only rich, but also had such amazing cutting-edge technology.

He thought that following this boss was definitely the right thing to do.

At 2 a.m., the black speedboat quietly returned to the private dock of Dasheng Fishing Ground.

Su Man was wrapped in a blanket and waiting on the dock.

Seeing that Shen Fei had returned safely, Su Man immediately rushed up and hugged him.

She said, her voice trembling with tears:

"You scared me to death."

"I'm back, everything's alright."

Shen Fei patted her on the back.

He released Su Man, then handed a cold bottle to Zhang Xin, who was waiting beside him, and told him with his eyes to deal with it immediately.

Zhang Xin nodded without saying a word, took the bottle, and quickly walked into the night.

The study light was very bright.

Shen Fei, Kyle, Su Man, and David Murray, who was in the video call, all had very serious expressions.

Kyle pointed to the sketch he had drawn from memory and said, "It's confirmed. It's the Ghost VII offensive underwater reconnaissance aircraft. It's usually only available to naval special forces. This isn't something a single company could have."

David Murray's face looked grim on the screen.

"I just checked with my connections. The parent company of Poseidon Industries has a shareholding relationship with Arctic Shield, the largest military-industrial company in Canada. They likely obtained these equipment through their connections with the military."

"This is no longer about doing business."

Shen Fei tapped his fingers on the table.

Although they obtained evidence of sewage discharge, they also provoked a more dangerous adversary.

Poseidon Industries' strength and methods have exceeded the normal scope of business.

However, after the meeting, Kyle and David immediately went to arrange defense and intelligence work.

Only Shen Fei and Su Man remained in the study.

Shen Fei walked to the floor-to-ceiling window and looked out at the dark sea.

He could feel that his spiritual power was still connected to that sea in a slight way.

He could sense that the enormous creature he had summoned to help had returned to its home in the abyss.

The seawater there is cold and dark.

In fact, he did not ask the creature for help.

After merging with the dragon bone, his ideas, to some extent, became the same as those of the ocean.

He simply channeled the sea's anger at the pollution into that one attack.

Shen Fei stared at his reflection in the glass, his eyes deep.

"I'm not going against a company."

"I want to clean up all this pollution for this ocean."
