"I don't know who she made a deal with to obtain the method to devour the creatures of the Dark Dimension."

"She absorbed demons from different universes and dark dimensions to gain power. But the power she obtained was not so easy to wield; clearly, she was also deceived by her trading partner."

A look of regret and helplessness flashed across Bald Guy's eyes.

"And you, how did you manage to bind her for so long? What is the source of your power? Isn't it also from the Dark Dimension?" Lin Yi narrowed his eyes.

The bald Ancient One smiled again, seemingly unconcerned about the wariness in Lin Yi's eyes.

"I am not lost. I can assure you that I still uphold my responsibility to protect the blue planet, no matter which universe I am in."

From the previous conversation between these two Ancient Ones, we can deduce that the normal cosmic will is refusing their entry. "You are very observant, that's true." The bald Ancient One readily admitted.

Bald Guy paused, organizing his thoughts: "In my universe, that virus is called the zombie virus."

"It can make all living beings go berserk, lose their minds, and attack anything that moves; even superheroes are not immune to it."

"My universe entered its countdown to destruction the moment the zombie virus broke out."

"In search of a solution, I embarked on a journey across the universe..."

"Would you like to see what kind of scene that is?" Bald Ancient One suddenly changed the subject, and before Lin Yi could answer, he raised his hand and pointed in the air.

A vortex appeared in the air, and within the vortex was a scene of countless zombies besieging a human city.

Lin Yi's pupils contracted, not because of the content of the image, but because of its style.

Yes, it's the art style. The images aren't real footage, but rather... anime style!

In the scene, infected zombies are rapidly encroaching on the territory belonging to ordinary humans.

A rotting Captain America in tattered battle suit, Tony Stark in tattered suit revealing skeletal remains, and a giant Hulk corpse lying on the ground are being devoured by the zombies Natasha and Clint.

The entire scene was filled with an atmosphere of despair and a violent, ferocious expression.

Bald Guy played a few clips before turning off the vortex, as if playing them was just to prove the truth of what she said.

"Why is it drawn like this... Holy crap!" Lin Yi turned his head with a sullen face, wanting to ask why it was drawn in an anime style, but was suddenly startled by the Ancient One in front of him.

The bald Ancient One who was originally standing in front of him has changed his appearance, becoming the same as in the previous scene.

The person looked as if they had been painted with colorful paintbrushes, with vivid colors and clear lines. Like a life-size acrylic character from an anime, standing flat in front of Lin Yi.

"What is this? What's wrong with you?" Lin Yi thought to himself, "Holy crap!" He took a step back, clenched his right fist, and prepared to throw a punch if anything went wrong.

But the next second, the animated version of the bald Ancient One, like a balloon, began to expand in shape, becoming three-dimensional, and the art style quickly changed, returning to a normal human appearance.

She seemed to have anticipated Lin Yi's reaction and calmly explained, "According to you, I come from the so-called animation universe."

"In the process of searching for a solution to the zombie virus, I unexpectedly came to this real universe. It took me a long time to integrate, and finally I have the body I have now..." The bald Ancient One looked at his palm, seemingly reminiscing about the past.

"I am showing you these things only so that you can believe what I am saying. I have no intention of harming any part of the universe."

"Now, it's time for her to pay her debts..." the bald Ancient One explained.

These words reminded Lin Yi of the experience that Strange had told him before.

He and Peter Parker encountered a fused monster in the Dark Dimension, and two Ancient Ones came to the rescue.

In retrospect, the behavior of the fusion demon that kept chasing Strange but always "just missed" catching up makes sense.

That was probably a setup for the Ancient One's later intervention. And the Ancient One's intervention was to gain Strange's trust, thus setting the stage for her taking the compass.

Goodbye, goodbye, one thing leads to another.

So, what about the bald Ancient One in front of us? Coming from the animated 2D version, does she know about the long-haired Ancient One's plan? And what role does she play?

Before Lin Yi could think further, the long-haired Gu Yi let out a roar of resentment, and was completely dragged into the bottomless black hole. The black hole quickly closed and disappeared.

With her disappearance, the force that maintained the confrontation in the mirror space also suddenly dissipated.

"We should go." The bald Ancient One said, drawing a complex golden magic circle in front of him with his hands. The mirror space began to peel away and dissipate like a painting.

A blur of light followed by a feeling of weightlessness, then the sensation of solid ground beneath their feet. Lin Yi and the bald Ancient One found themselves atop the ruins of Stark Tower.

Looking around, there were hardly any abnormal individuals left to see; only a few were being quickly dealt with.

"Let's get down to business!" The bald Ancient One looked up at the sky, then closed her eyes. She clasped her hands together in front of her chest, forming several hand seals. Golden magical energy rapidly gathered, transforming into chains of runes that shot into the sky at a speed imperceptible to the naked eye, heading towards the synchronous orbit.

Lin Yi activated his super vision and saw that the magic circle was stable around the satellite, which put him at ease.

"Thank you." Lin Yi nodded. No matter what the bald Ancient One was hiding, at least she was helping him for now.

"You don't need to thank me, it's what I should do." Bald Guy shook his head, about to say something more, when he and Lin Yi suddenly turned their heads at the same time.

Not far away, space distorted into ripples like a water curtain, and an unusual aura continued to extend from it.

Lin Yi was getting a little irritated. What was going on with this sudden fluctuation?

Immediately afterwards, he saw two figures fall out of the ripples in a somewhat disheveled state.

A man and a woman; the man was wearing a black base layer and a red hooded spider suit.

The woman's outfit consisted of a black Spider-Man suit with white and pink accents and a white hood.

That's not the point. The point is that the art style of these two is exactly the same as the animation that the bald Ancient One just showed! With obvious two-dimensional characteristics, they are out of place in the surrounding real scene, like characters who walked out of an animation.
