Tony and Steve calmed down a bit and quieted down, taking Johnny's advice to them.

Steve regretted his earlier outburst: "Sorry, Tony... I didn't mean it that way."

"But... the black and purple patterns haven't been resolved yet, and now the Time Bureau, Cassandra, and the Void have appeared." With that, Steve slumped back on the sofa, half-dejected.

"To be honest, Tony, this feeling of being completely lost makes me want to fight Thanos again."

"I have a feeling," Steve thought, recalling what the men who called themselves the Time Administration had said.

"This is just the beginning..."

Tony remained silent, a saying coming to mind: "If you play with time, time will play with you."

Does all of this mean they are being punished by time?

"So," a familiar voice suddenly rang out, "you encountered the Time Administration in the Quantum Realm, and then they stabbed you in the back?"

The sound startled Tony at first, but then a smile appeared on his face.

"Lin!" Steve immediately stood up, his eyes lighting up.

Johnny, however, was still chewing on his hamburger with a puzzled look on his face, wondering who this person who had suddenly appeared was.

Lin Yi had already flown over silently, concealing his presence with his bio-field, and followed them into the room. He had overheard the conversation.

"Lin, how did you find this place? Did Wade send you? How is the situation now?" Tony quickly stepped forward and grabbed Lin Yi's shoulder to ask.

Although Steve didn't speak, his eyes were full of questions.

Lin Yi sat down on the sofa and smiled: "Good news, I've obtained the technology to isolate the cosmic virus... the kind with the black and purple patterns."

"Isolation devices have now been deployed on Earth, and things are gradually returning to normal."

Upon hearing the news, the two of them breathed a sigh of relief, and smiles involuntarily appeared on their faces.

This is the best news I've heard in days.

But Lin Yi hadn't finished speaking: "The bad news is that the isolation device can't cover the universe, so the universe is still heading towards destruction, and there's no good solution for now..."

Tony and Steve fell silent again.

"It's already pretty good," Tony said. "At least we're still alive, and Earth is recovering. As for the problems in the universe... let's find solutions once things stabilize. Maybe this is the price of playing with time."

"Why do you say that? And I'm curious, why would the Time Management Bureau contact you?" Lin Yi asked.

Tony sighed. "That's a long story."

"Then let's make it short."

"At the time, Steve, Carol, and I were searching for solutions in the Quantum Realm when those people from the Time Bureau suddenly appeared. They called us outliers, saying that something that shouldn't have happened had occurred, that people who should have died hadn't died, and that the universe that should have been destroyed had undergone an anomaly."

"They even said it affected the sacred timeline, fuck. They said I was supposed to snap my fingers and die in the Thanos battle. Then they just shoved us here with a stick."

"The specifics can't be explained in a few words; I have some guesses. We'll discuss it in more detail when we get back," Tony continued.

"The current situation is that Carol is being controlled by a woman named Cassandra, who is forcing me to make her MK suits."

Tony held up the device he had just assembled: "I made this, an energy oscillation device. Theoretically, it can awaken Carol and release her from control."

"I was planning to let Carol lead us to escape if you hadn't shown up. Now that you're here, what new plans do you have?"

Lin Yi shrugged: "No, the original plan was to fly over and grab you guys and run away."

"Cassandra can't keep up with me. Fifty kilometers away, there's a Strange from another universe waiting for us. We can turn back at any time."

"This is a great plan, guys!" Johnny chimed in. "Can I join in?"

Tony glanced at him, ignored him, and continued asking Lin Yi, "We have an escape route, but another question remains, Lin, can you beat Cassandra?"

Lin Yi thought for a moment, "Her abilities are somewhat special. It might take some time to fight her, or she might kill me in one go."

I've never fought someone like Cassandra before, so I don't know how easy it is to catch. If I could take a solid punch from myself, wouldn't I kill her instantly?

"GOOD! So now the plan is set. We'll kick that bald guy's ass, get my MK85 back, and then everyone can go home happily, alright?"

Tony was so excited that he danced around. In just ten minutes, his seemingly hopeless future began to shine again.

The door opened, and Cassandra walked in wearing a Mark 85, interrupting Tony's performance.

Clap! Clap! Clap! Cassandra clapped her hands, her gaze falling on Lin Yi. She tilted her head and revealed a smile of interest.

"New little guy, let me see who you are?" With that, the figure vanished from the spot.

"Watch out!" Tony shouted immediately upon seeing this. He knew about the bald man's abilities; he could wriggle his hands inside a person's body and read their memories—it was disgusting.

Tony only had time to give a warning before his vision blurred, and when he looked again, he realized that Lin Yi and Cassandra had switched places.

Cassandra is now sitting there, and Lin Yi is standing in her previous spot.

"Wow, bald guy, that's a bit rude of you!" Lin Yi certainly couldn't let her touch him; he felt uncomfortable even when watching movies with that thing.

Cassandra's interest intensified.

"Tony, is this the outside help you brought in? Interesting, indeed interesting."

She looked at Lin Yi: "Young man, you're very fast. Are you interested in doing things for me?"

Then, he looked at Tony and said, "Want to kick my ass? Tony, you should do it yourself, if you're capable of it."

Tony had a sour face. Judging from her words, it seemed that he already knew that he had asked Wade to invite foreign aid. Was he too confident not to stop her?

"Give me back my suit, or I'll kick it right now!" Tony was seething with anger as he watched his beloved suit being worn by someone else.

No one can wear the MK suit without his authorization, but the problem is that his life is in his hands, so Tony has no choice at all.

Tony had been feigning authorization, ready to blow up the MK85 and let the bald guy experience the power of technology. However, the bald guy's abilities were truly bizarre; he didn't react at all on Friday, offering no response whatsoever.

"What? Your suit? This is my suit!" Cassandra patted her MK85 suit with satisfaction. Tony was so angry he jumped up and down.

"Oh! Speaking of the suit!" Lin Yi suddenly exclaimed, looking as if he had just realized something. He reached into his pocket and walked towards Tony.

"Speaking of suits, Tony, I brought you a gift from another universe!"

"I reckon you'll have a chance to kick her ass!"

"What?" Tony frowned, then saw Lin Yi take out something that looked somewhat familiar and slap it on his chest.

hum!

A familiar sound rang out, and nanoparticles rapidly flowed from the reactor throughout the body.

Tony only realized what was happening when the mask closed and the data stream lit up before his eyes. Then, he heard a voice he thought he would never hear again.

"Sir, Jarvis is online."
