The word "sir" left Tony frozen in place.

"Jarvis?"

"Yes, sir."

"Ha... How could this be..." Tony's voice was distorted, and his expression behind the mask was extremely complex.

At this moment, he seemed to be caught in an unspeakable, struggle-like emotion.

After the Ultron incident, he thought the voice had disappeared forever.

Jarvis was modeled after his butler, and after the butler's death, he gave the name to the artificial intelligence he created.

Throughout his long journey of growth, Jarvis developed his own independent personality and way of thinking. His significance to Tony went beyond being just a program; his code was imbued with Tony's way of thinking, his sense of humor, and his understanding of the world.

He is Tony's work partner and an extension of himself, a kind of emotional pillar and "family".

When Tony returned to 2012, he did consider taking a backup of Jarvis.

But years of growth have allowed him to accept the fact that he lost Jarvis and to learn how to make choices.

If they took the backup, Tony in 2012 couldn't possibly have been completely unaware. This wouldn't have been in line with the core of their low-key operation, and it would have created more timelines and dangers for the universe due to the chain reaction.

He can't afford that risk; he wants to protect what he has now.

But do you think he doesn't miss Jarvis? The answer is definitely no.

So when Jarvis's voice rang out again, all the memories of the past—adjusting the suit, cracking jokes, facing crises—rushed to mind in an instant.

"Oh? A new toy?" Here comes the clueless one.

Cassandra's eyes gleamed as she stared at the MK97 on Tony's body. "Where did it come from? From another universe? Which universe?"

This outfit suits her aesthetic better than the MK85. The MK97 is roughly the same as the MK85 in appearance, but the details are completely different. It has the shadow of the MK85, but it has some breakthroughs in style.

The MK97 retains the classic gold and red color scheme, but with the addition of black, a color Tony is unlikely to use.

Black only occupies a small portion, but it covers the entire body, like an energy circuit.

Lin Yi ignored Cassandra and patted Tony on the shoulder through his suit.

"This is the culmination of your wisdom from another universe. He asked me to bring it to you. Of course, he has one small request, which I have agreed to in advance."

"I think you won't refuse."

Tony remained silent. He took a deep breath and forced himself to refocus.

Tony from another universe, Jarvis from another universe.

Tony didn't want to think about the differences, nor did he want to delve into the concept of this Jarvis being different from that Jarvis at this moment; he only knew that he had heard Jarvis's voice again.

"Calm down, Tony," Lin Yi said. "The other one, you said, this suit uses the most advanced energy utilization and shielding technology."

"Now you can try and see if you can kick that bald guy's ass."

"Interesting." Cassandra chuckled, the MK85 mask snapping shut. "Then I'll play with you in this suit. The rules are simple: if you can't kick my ass, your new toy and your life are mine to blame."

After saying that, she raised her hand without warning and fired a palm strike.

"Sir, attack detected. Active defense activated. I must remind you, now is not the time to be idling." Jarvis's familiar voice rang out again. A diamond-shaped device popped out from above Tony's left shoulder, instantly unfolding a semi-transparent energy shield.

The palm-sized cannon slammed into the shield, creating a ripple effect.

This completely woke Tony up.

"You're right, Jarvis." Tony stretched his neck, the joints of the MK97 making a slight hum. "Now is definitely not the time to daydream."

As soon as he finished speaking, Cassandra fired another palm strike, her foot propulsion system activated in sync, propelling her like a cannonball to Tony's side.

Composed of enormous nanoblades, it was raised high and slashed at Tony.

Instead of taking the hit head-on, Tony simultaneously deployed several small auxiliary propulsion ports from under his MK97 armpits, ribs, and knees, instantly adjusting his posture and allowing him to slide sideways. At the same time, Tony pushed out with his right palm, unleashing a faster-charging and more powerful palm pulse cannon that struck Cassandra squarely in the back.

boom!

Cassandra was blasted forward and staggered, only managing to stay upright thanks to the stabilization system of her suit. She quickly turned around, her face looking rather pale, but thankfully no one could see it, so it wasn't too embarrassing.

In just one encounter, the MK97 demonstrated significantly superior maneuverability and reaction speed compared to the MK85, with every move being smoother and faster.

"Not bad." Cassandra's voice rang out. She didn't attack again, and Tony didn't rush forward either. Instead, he directly mocked, "What? Do you want me to teach you how to use the suit?"

"I can't do that. You have no talent for the suit. I advise you to give up as soon as possible."

Cassandra chuckled and pressed her hand to her chest. The KM85 nanotech suit quickly retracted into the reactor, tossed aside with disdain.

"You're right, it's obviously unfair that I won't use the suit, so I'm choosing not to use it now. Happy?"

Tony choked, realizing he had dug himself a hole.

Instead of using her battle suit, she uses her incredible abilities?

"Besides, you've got one thing wrong. I don't need to know whether I have talent or not. Your suit is just a toy to me."

"An interesting toy." Cassandra's eyes gleamed with greed. "I've changed my mind. Now, I want this suit you're wearing, and your life."

She raised her hand again, pointing her five fingers at Tony, and activated her telekinesis. An invisible energy instantly enveloped MK97, and Tony cursed inwardly.

The bald man appeared calm on the surface, but the speed at which he changed his mind and the force with which he gripped his hand clearly showed how furious he was! Previously, MK85 had been rendered immobile by her control in the same way.

However, this time the situation was different. Suddenly, a faint blue light shone from the black circuitry on the surface of the MK97, spreading out like a stream of water covering the entire suit.

In just a moment, the pulling sensation Cassandra had created disappeared.

"The energy deflection field is in effect, sir," Jarvis explained. "The other party appears to possess superpowers similar to the concept of telekinesis."

"Oh ho, did you hear that!" Tony raised an eyebrow. "Your old tricks don't seem to be working anymore!"

Cassandra's interest and excitement intensified. She became increasingly satisfied with the suit.

She licked her lips, then suddenly changed her target, turning her hand to Steve beside her: "Let's try a different game, Tony. Suit or friend, which do you choose?"

"Hehe..." Tony's laughter was the response to Cassandra.

"What are you laughing at?" Cassandra frowned, then looked at her empty hands with a hint of something.

Where's Steve? Shouldn't he have been sucked in?

She then realized that Lin Yi was standing in front of Steve at some point. Her telekinesis had failed again…

"So it seems you're not just fast?" Cassandra narrowed her eyes, realizing something.

"I'll take that as a compliment," Lin Yi shrugged.

Cassandra's two failed attempts to show off were making her face contort with rage. She stopped talking and simply raised her hands. In the distance, two discarded metal pipes hurtled towards her, twisting and deforming, disintegrating and reforming into a dozen sharp metal spikes that hovered in mid-air.

"Carol, go play with Tony. Be careful not to ruin my new suit."

No sooner had he finished speaking than Carol, her eyes bloodshot, leaped in again and charged at Tony without a word.

Cassandra raised her hand towards Lin Yi, and the long metal spikes turned and aimed at him.
