Become a Homelander and a Marvel superstar

Chapter 198 completely forgot about this.

At the feet of this raccoon.

A little figure made of tree bark is wobbling as it stands up.

He was only about two feet tall, with tiny buds growing on his head, big eyes looking around innocently, and green sap spitting from his mouth.

"I am Groot..."

The sapling rubbed its head, its voice soft and sweet, as if it hadn't woken up yet.

"Hey! Don't smear your sap on my gun! This is custom-made!" the raccoon yelled.

Finally, a somewhat sleazy-looking henchman with cross-eyed eyes emerged, leaning against the hatch and vomiting violently.

This strange quartet consists of Yondu Udontha the Raider, Rocket Raccoon, Groot the Tree Baby, and Kraglin the Henchman, who made a series of crazy jumps in order to meet up with Star-Lord.

After a while, the four of them finally stood firm. They looked up and their eyes met those of Jane and Saul, who were waiting in full force.

Yondu squinted, looking at the hammer in Jane's hand and then at the large wrench in Thor's hand.

"Looks like we've encountered some natives."

He then whistled.

"call out--"

The red Yaka arrow instantly flew from his waist, hovering beside his shoulder, its tip pointing at Jane's brow, emitting a dangerous red light.

"They don't seem very friendly."

Rocket also raised his energy cannon and aimed it at Thor. Although he only reached Thor's knees, his arrogance was in no way inferior.

Hey! Big guy!

"Put down that thing you're holding! Or I'll smash your head into a pulp!"

Thor looked down at the wrench in his hand, then at the raccoon that was only as tall as his calf.

"A...rabbit?" He looked bewildered.

"Is this talking rabbit threatening me?"

"rabbit?!"

Rockets hates being called rabbit, raccoon, or raccoon dog.

"I'm Grandpa Rocket! You golden-haired monkey!"

"I am Groot," Baby Groot interjected from the side.

"This is Midgard, under the protection of Asgard! State your identities! Outsiders! Lay down your weapons immediately! Otherwise..."

Thor roared, trying to overwhelm his opponent with his imposing manner.

"Where is Midgard?" Rocket asked.

"Midgard?" Yondu squinted, revealing a mouthful of rotten teeth. "That's what the Asgardians call Terra.

"Transaran?"

The rocket paused for a moment, then burst into a shrill laugh.

"Hahahaha! Yondu! Did you hear that? That idiot Quill's home planet! Earth!"

"That's the most backward rural area in the Milky Way. These country bumpkins probably haven't even heard of a sub-light speed engine."

"A country bumpkin?"

Jane's eyebrows shot up.

As an astrophysicist and a newly awakened superhuman warrior, she cannot tolerate such arrogant remarks.

"Now, this raccoon, that blue-skinned man, the scavenger, and that sapling."

Jane raised the hammer, her body crackling with electricity, and aimed it at the four men.

"Explain yourself! Who are you? Where did you come from? Where are you going?"

"Otherwise, I'll show you what anger from the countryside really means!"

"Hey! Little girl." Yondu grinned, revealing a mouthful of rotten teeth. "In the galaxy, nobody dares to warn Yondu."

"Wait! Wait!"

Kraglin suddenly pointed at the hammer in Jane's hand and shouted.

"Boss! Look at that hammer! Isn't that... that thing from some divine realm?"

Yondu paused for a moment, then looked closely at Mjolnir.

"Asgard?"

Yondu's expression turned slightly serious. As a seasoned raider, he certainly knew what Asgard meant.

They were a group of war-mongering fanatics who once wreaked havoc on the galaxy. Although they're much more docile now.

"Calm down, ma'am."

Yondu immediately switched to a friendly expression, raising his hands to indicate that he meant no harm.

"We were just... passing by."

"We're lost, you know?"

"We were originally going to Planet Igor, but some scoundrel opened a hole in this area and sucked us in."

"Igor Star?" Jane frowned, disengaged from her combat stance, and landed slowly.

"You mean... you were brought here because of our experiment?"

"Your experiment?"

Rocket Raccoon jumped out and pointed at the huge metal ring.

"That piece of junk? Ha! I knew it! This primitive jump technology is like throwing nails on a cosmic highway!"

"You have to pay me back!"

"Pay us money?" Saul said, clearly annoyed. "You damaged our equipment, and you expect us to pay you back?"

"And you just called me a golden monkey?" Thor pointed his thumb at his nose. "I am Odin's son, Thor, the God of Thunder!"

"Thor?" Rocket Raccoon looked Thor up and down.

"Are all gods these days carrying wrenches? Are you sure you're not the god of screwing in screws?"

These words pierced Thor's heart.

"I..." Thor's face flushed red. "I'm working! Working, you know?!"

"Alright, stop arguing."

Yondu interrupted the pointless argument.

"Listen, Hammer Girl," Yondu looked at Jane, "I'm sure you understand now, it's all a misunderstanding."

"We'll leave once we've repaired the boat; there's no need for knives and guns."

Jane looked at these strange alien visitors.

Although they look strange and even a bit fierce, they don't seem to be the pure invaders like the Chitauri.

"Well, since it's a misunderstanding, that makes things easier."

She turned to the staff member who was already stunned and said:

"You, cordon off the scene and record the data."

Then, she took out her phone.

"Let's leave this kind of thing to the professionals."

The call was connected.

"Hello, Mr. Starr."

"Yes, there was a slight... mishap during the experiment."

"No, it wasn't an explosion."

Jane glanced at Rocket Raccoon, who was trying to steal parts from the equipment on site.

"We...we caught a few aliens."

"A raccoon, a tree, a scavenger, and a blue mohawk."

"Yes, they said they're going to Igor."

"Okay, I'll wait for you."

hang up the phone.

Jane gave Yondu and the other two a polite smile.

"Don't wander off, everyone."

"Our boss will be here soon."

"The boss?" Rocket Raccoon curled his lip in disdain, pulling out an unidentified part and starting to fiddle with it. "What kind of powerful boss could there be in a civilization that can't even leave the asteroid belt?"

"Even Ronan the Accuser, who ravaged the galaxy, was still destroyed by my old man Rocket."

"I am Groot," the little tree-man agreed.

……

The top floor of the Water Tower, the new office of President Zu.

Ah Zu was comfortably lying on the massage bed, enjoying the professional massage provided by Tianwang.

"How are you feeling, Mr. Starr?" Skynet asked softly, his fingers deftly pressing on Azu.

"Perfect." Azu closed his eyes and let out a comfortable hum. "Except for needing a bit of nutritional supplements, there's nothing wrong with it."

"Buzzing—"

The phone on the table suddenly vibrated.
