Chapter 103 The Wavebreaker Sets Sail!

Xiao Chong's silver storm left afterimages in the air, but it could never touch the elusive undead captain.

Seeing this, Haiyuan took a deep breath, clasped his hands together, and chanted an ancient and mysterious incantation. Suddenly, towering waves surged on the sea, as if to devour the world.

"In the name of the ocean, I bind your souls!" The abyss's magic erupted instantly, forming a huge water prison that trapped the summoned undead crew members within. They struggled and roared, but could not break through this cage made of pure water elements.

For the first time, the undead captain's expression changed, and a hint of surprise flashed in his eerie green eyes.

"Interesting. I didn't expect there to be someone among you capable of using such powerful water magic. However, this is far from enough!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he brandished the decaying rudder in his hand, and a burst of death power suddenly erupted. Several undead crew members who were trying to break free of the water prison began to corrode the water element, and cracks gradually appeared in the water prison.

"We must finish this quickly; this guy's strength seems to be constantly increasing!"

Zi Yan's voice carried a hint of anxiety. She gathered her battle qi once more, this time transforming it into an incomparably sharp blade of battle qi, which rushed straight towards the undead captain. At the same time, she used her clone to attract the attention of the weakened undead.

"Attack together, don't give him a chance to breathe!" Xiao Chong responded, and the silver storm unleashed even more fierce attacks, each strike accompanied by the sound of air being torn apart, determined to bring this battle to a close.

Just as the three were locked in fierce combat with the undead captain and his ghostly crew, Haiyuan detected a strange energy fluctuation underwater and knew something was wrong: "Everyone be careful, something is approaching from below!"

Before the words were even finished, an enormous sea beast burst forth from the water. Its body was covered in thick carapace, and its eyes were like torches, clearly drawn by the battle. Its appearance made the already chaotic battlefield even more unpredictable.

Seeing this, the undead captain smirked coldly: "It seems even the guardians of the abyss can't resist the temptation. Perfect, you can all sink into the endless darkness together."

Faced with the sudden turn of events, the three quickly exchanged a glance and tacitly adjusted their battle strategy.

Xiao Chong and Zi Yan continued to restrain the undead captain and crew, while Hai Yuan focused his mind on trying to establish a connection with the sea beast and use his power to appease the enraged ancient creature.

"Tranquility, great being, let us fight side by side, instead of destroying each other," Haiyuan murmured. He stretched out his hand, a soft blue light emanating from his palm, and slowly approached the sea beast.

At this tense moment, the sea monster's eyes seemed to soften, and its massive body slowly retreated, no longer attacking the group. Hai Yuan was overjoyed, knowing that his efforts had not been in vain.

"We have help now!" Xiao Chong shouted. Taking advantage of this opportunity, he and Zi Yan's attacks became even more fierce. The silver storm and the blades of battle qi intertwined into an impenetrable net, heading straight for the undead captain.

A flicker of panic crossed the undead captain's eyes. He began to dodge in vain, and his openings became increasingly apparent.

"It's over!" Zi Yan's battle aura blade finally slashed through the air, striking the undead captain's heart, while Xiao Chong's silver storm followed closely behind, completely sealing off all his escape routes.

With a deafening explosion, the undead captain's figure gradually dissipated, and the summoned ghosts around him vanished without a trace.

Haiyuan withdrew his spell, took a breath, and the sea returned to calm, leaving only the three of them breathing and the cries of deep-sea creatures.

Just then, a treasure chest shimmering with an eerie light slowly appeared before them, as if the sea was rewarding them for their valiant battle. The three exchanged glances, their eyes filled with curiosity and excitement to explore the unknown.

Haiyuan took out the Star Compass from the treasure chest and was fascinated by the strange light emanating from it.

Next, they will face the final condition – the Wings of the Storm.

Where the wind rises, clouds surge and waves soar, and it seems as if thousands of giant dragons are roaring in the sky. This is a forbidden land in the mouths of navigators, a place that even the bravest explorers fear.

Haiyuan, Xiaochong, and Ziyan stood on a specially made small sailboat, facing the stormy area they were about to enter. Their eyes held both determination and awe for the unknown.

"This land where the wind rises is said to conceal the power of ancient gods, and the Wings of the Wind and Waves are the embodiment of that power."

Haiyuan gripped the Star Compass tightly in his hand. The lights on the compass flickered, seemingly guiding the way forward. "If we can obtain it, we will be able to grasp the true mysteries of the ocean."

Zi Yan frowned slightly, a hint of worry flashing in her emerald eyes: "But this storm is so fierce that ordinary ships can't even get close, let alone find any Wings of the Storm." Her voice was soft, but it revealed an undeniable determination: "But now that we're here, there's no turning back."

Xiao Chong patted the side of the sailboat and said confidently, "I built this 'Wavebreaker' myself, specially designed to combat extreme weather. With it, plus the tacit understanding between the three of us, no windy place can stop us."

Haiyuan nodded, then gave the order: "Raise the sails and head towards where the wind rises!"

Like an arrow released from a bow, the sailboat plunged into the embrace of the storm. The wind howled, the waves surged, and the Breaker skillfully navigated the raging storm, demonstrating its astonishing wind resistance. Each of the three had their own role: Haiyuan operated the compass for navigation, Ziyan was responsible for maintaining the sailboat's balance and adjusting its speed, while Xiao Chong remained constantly vigilant of the surrounding environment, ready to respond to any unexpected situations.

"Watch out! There's a huge whirlpool ahead!" Xiao Chong's warning rang out just in time. A huge whirlpool was rapidly forming on the sea surface, as if it were about to swallow everything.

Haiyuan frowned and said in a deep voice, "Prepare for an emergency turn; we must go around it!"

Zi Yan responded immediately, and the canvas instantly adjusted its angle. The Breaking Waves drew an arc in a breathtaking moment, narrowly missing the whirlpool, leaving all three of them sweating profusely.

"That was close, I almost became a ghost at the bottom of the sea." Xiao Chong wiped the sweat from his forehead and couldn't help but joke.

A barely perceptible smile appeared on Haiyuan's lips: "It is precisely these unknowns and challenges that make our journey even more exciting."

As they ventured deeper into the windswept land, the surrounding storms intensified, yet the Wavebreaker miraculously remained steadfast, riding the waves with unwavering stability. Just when they were almost convinced that the Wings of the Waves were merely a legend, a dazzling light appeared on the distant horizon, a light that seemed to contain boundless power and gentleness, guiding them forward.

"Look, what's that?" Zi Yan pointed in the direction of the light, her eyes filled with surprise.
