Let's start over, Your Majesty.

Chapter 317 Yumilia's Drunkenness

Chapter 317 Yumilia's Drunkenness

Thranduil's mansion was bustling with activity today. Bouquets were piled up in the courtyard, and rows of champagne glasses, pastries, and delicacies were laid out on tables covered with pristine white tablecloths—a lively and festive scene.
Although there weren't many guests this time, they were all people Caesar knew well, including former classmates and friends, as well as some seniors he had met in the business world.

Following Caesar's advice, Ita did not invite too many people, making the banquet a family gathering, simply a coming-of-age ceremony for Caesar.

"Okay, that's it."

In Caesar's room, Yumilia smiled and placed a headband woven from tamarisk twigs around Caesar's head. This was a traditional ornament worn by men upon reaching adulthood in Fane. The tamarisk twigs symbolized strength, passion, and integrity, and were also a blessing for adults.

Like the New Annihilation Day blessing that Caesar once experienced, it places great emphasis on ritual.

"Come, let me see."

Yumilia applied some makeup to him and examined him carefully while holding his chin.

"How is it? Is it alright?" Caesar asked.

As they watched, the little elf suddenly pouted, looking like she was about to cry.

"What's wrong?" Caesar quickly put his arm around her.
"Waaah, when I think of Caesar, who was so tiny when I picked him up, and now he's so big and handsome, I'm so happy. I can't help but cry," Yumilia said, sobbing.

"You..." Caesar smiled helplessly.

“But then I think about how Caesar has grown up and is about to start his own family, and I feel so sad,” Yumilia said again.

"Then I'll stay with you for the rest of my life," Caesar said, embracing her.

“Caesar, we can’t be careless about these things.” Yumilia’s expression turned serious.
"Uh-huh,"

Caesar gave a perfunctory reply.

Yumilia sighed, unsure if her child had listened to her.

Then she smiled again and took Caesar's hand.
"Alright, stop being so cute with me later. Now it's time to go out and meet the guests."

They went outside, where a large group of people were already waiting.

"Caesar!"

The first to step forward was Tess, a young lady who was domineering in front of outsiders but very loyal to her friends. She immediately started poking him in the chest, looking fierce.

"You! You! Guy! You just left school without a word, do you know we initially thought you'd been kidnapped?!"

When Caesar went to Pavi, only his family and a few high-ranking people knew about it. During that time, his classmates thought he had suddenly stopped coming to class and had disappeared without a trace, as if he had vanished into thin air. It was only after a lot of questioning that they learned that he had accepted such a mission.

"Okay, okay, I apologize. I didn't say goodbye properly before I left," he could only surrender in the face of Tess's anger.

"Hmph, we considered you a friend! You just disappeared without saying a word!" Tess said angrily, arms crossed.

"Oh, Tess, Caesar had no choice in the matter. Give him a chance, and we can just treat him to a few more meals."

An arm wrapped around Caesar's shoulder, and the blond-haired Leon walked forward with a smile.

Two years had passed, but Leon hadn't changed much. He still sported a dashing head of blond hair, and his face carried a youthful spirit. His handsome appearance, now grown up, gave him exceptional confidence. He had grown taller than two years ago, only half a head shorter than Caesar.

"Hehe, Little Sa is already an official at such a young age. If you become a minister in the future, don't forget your brother!" Leon chuckled and patted his chest.

"Don't worry, I'll definitely arrange a close-range explosives observer position for you then," Caesar said, patting him on the shoulder.

"Uh, is there anything easier? My eyesight isn't good, so I can't do heavy work," Leon said innocently.

Do you want to be a shark-themed oral hygiene specialist?

The three best friends from their student days reunited and had so much to say. They quickly started chatting happily together. However, there were other guests to attend to, so the two of them had to rest for the time being while Caesar and Yumilia went to deal with the other guests.

While he was talking with a business partner, a family of three walked over.

"Chopper!"

"Mrs. Belle!"

The people who arrived were Chopper's childhood playmates, his family.

The last time I met Chopper was almost four years ago. In the past few years, Chopper has been participating in a technology research project and I haven't heard from him for a long time.

Now, this once silly boy has transformed into a high-level elite, wearing glasses and possessing a scholarly and refined demeanor.

After exchanging greetings, Chopper took out a small metal box and handed it to Caesar.

"Happy coming-of-age ceremony! I thought for a long time about what to give you, so I finally decided to give you this," Chopper said with a smile.

"Hmm, it's not still an insect, is it?" Caesar asked tentatively.

He hasn't forgotten the oppressive feeling of the "cockroach cake".

"You'll see when you see it," Chopper said mysteriously.

Caesar opened the box, inside was a thumb-sized stone, silvery-white, with many pores, exhibiting an irregular, rough texture.

“This is a meteorite, the prize I won in the national knowledge competition. Caesar, you like the universe too, right? So I thought it would be best to give this to you,” Chopper said with a smile.

Caesar paused, about to speak, when Chopper said, "Alright, don't say anything about refusing. I don't think our relationship is worth less than a stone, is it?"

Looking at his simple smile, Caesar smiled back and gave him a firm hug.

"Thank you, I like it very much."

The banquet continued, and most of the expected guests had arrived, but Caesar did not see Itah there.

"Where did that guy go?" he wondered. He walked to the door and saw the Frederick family's car parked there, with Doruvan and Delina inside, but he didn't see Ita anywhere.

“Old Steward Doruvan,” Caesar stepped forward.
"Have you seen Ita? She didn't come today?"

"The head of the family went out early this morning to pick up some things for your coming-of-age ceremony. He should be back soon," Doruvan said.

"She went out? But you weren't with her?" Caesar frowned.

Dorwan shook his head: "The patriarch forbade us to follow, saying it was to keep it a secret."

"This child," Caesar sighed, unsure of what kind of trouble the little dragon was up to.

After bidding farewell to Doruvin, Caesar had just returned when he ran into Freya, who immediately took his hand.

"Hurry, Caesar, your blessing ceremony is about to begin."

He was led to the front of the hall, where a grandstand had been set up, and the priest who had been invited to preside over his blessing ceremony stood there, with Yumilia standing beside him.

Freya helped him straighten his clothes, then patted his shoulder, gesturing for him to come up.

Approaching the priest, the priest lightly drew a line on his forehead with a brush dipped in tamarisk twigs, then gestured for him to kneel on one knee. The priest took out a book, pondered for a moment, and began to read:

"Your robust soul has passed through the ignorance and naivety of youth; now you are lush and verdant, flowing like a mighty river."

"I wish once again that your eyes may always be clear, seeing all the world's splendor without being tainted by dust,"

May your hands always be strong, firmly grasping the sharp edge of your ideals, overcoming all obstacles; may your steps always be firm, traversing thousands of mountains and rivers, living up to your youthful years.

May your heart always burn brightly, and though you weather the storms of life, may you return as youthful as ever.

After the blessing was finished, Yumilia, who had been waiting, rushed forward, raised the laurel wreath in her hand, and placed it around Caesar's neck.

After she finished, Yumilia leaned close to his ear and whispered:

"Congratulations on growing up, Caesar, my eternal pride."

As night deepened, the banquet came to an end.

"Let's get together again sometime when the three of us have some free time," Leon said to Caesar as he was leaving.

"That depends on whether you have time. Caesar isn't someone you can just easily get a hold of these days," Tess said.

“I’ll definitely have time whenever I’m with you guys, just let me know when the time comes,” Caesar said.

After seeing off each guest, he felt tired and glanced at the time; it was almost eleven o'clock.

Back in the banquet hall, the servants were cleaning up the mess.

Freya walked over with her handbag and reached out to touch Caesar's cheek.

"Caesar, I'm going back now. You must be tired tonight, get some rest."

"Yes, thank you for your hard work, Freya."

"Silly child, why are you telling me all this?" Freya smiled faintly.

"I'm leaving now. Oh, remember to take care of Yumilia,"

"Um"

After Freya left, Caesar searched around and finally found Yumilia on the sofa in the corner.

The little elf was curled up, clutching an empty wine bottle in her arms, her face flushed, looking somewhat dazed.

"you've been drinking?"

Caesar noticed the empty wine bottles nearby and said...

I was busy attending to the guests at the banquet and didn't notice her. I didn't expect that when I turned around, she had drunk so much.

"No, no, it's just, it's just juice," Yumilia said.

“This is clearly fruit wine,” Caesar said helplessly, picking up the bottle.

"Well, I'm happy about Caesar's coming-of-age ceremony," Yumilia muttered to herself.

Her eyes were glazed over, clearly indicating that she was drunk.

"Hmm, we're out of that, Caesar, I'd like to drink more."

Caesar sighed and had no choice but to pick her up.

"Alright, we should go upstairs to sleep now."

"No, I... I still want to play."

Yumilia is acting like a little child now.

"Okay, let's go wash up first, and then we can play, alright?" Caesar had no choice but to say.

"Um"

After hearing this, Yumilia quieted down and took Caesar's arm.

"Then, shall we go together..."
