Chapter 318 Drunk

"Caesar, my head hurts so much."

Yumilia, her eyes glazed over, wrapped her arms around his neck and said with a pained expression.

Caesar, who was about to call Kardashian's housekeeper, stopped in his tracks upon hearing this.
"If it hurts, get some rest," he said helplessly, patting Yumilia's back twice with one hand.

"Okay, listen to me. You smell like alcohol. If you don't shower, you'll stink the next day."

He looked up and called Kardashian over.

"No! Caesar! You should be the one listening to me!" Yumilia argued back, clinging to him and refusing to let go.

"I want to be with you! I want to be with Caesar!" Yumilia was acting like a spoiled child, crying and refusing to let go.

This made Kardashian, who had just arrived, look uncomfortable. She glanced at Yumilia and then at Caesar.

Caesar sighed helplessly. He regretted letting Freya leave first.

He turned to Kardashian and said, "Please put the water down first, I'll take her over in a bit."

"Yes."

Kardashian stepped down.

"Well"

Yumilia seemed to have fallen asleep again, clinging to him and murmuring softly like a child.

Just as Caesar was about to gently place her on the sofa, he was suddenly pulled into a tight hug.

"Caesar, don't go."

"Alright, alright," Caesar had no choice but to pick her up again.

Like holding a child, Caesar supported her thigh with one hand, letting her lean against his arm, and went to the kitchen. He took out some hangover tea with one hand and put it in the teapot to brew.

A faint, slightly sour aroma of tea filled the air. Caesar took a sip first, then said to Yumilia, "Here, drink this."

"Well"

Yumilia opened her eyes, took the teacup with both hands, brought her little nose close to smell it, and then pouted and said, "I want to drink juice."

"This is juice, it tastes like juice when you drink it," Caesar coaxed her.

"Then feed me."

Caesar had no choice but to pick up a small spoon, scoop up a little bit, and feed it to Yumilia.

She drank it all, sip after sip, until the glass was empty. Then she looked up at Caesar with a pout, her lips trembling with grievance.

"Caesar, you're lying, this isn't juice at all."

“Then you finished drinking it,” Caesar said.

After drinking the hangover tea, Yumilia didn't seem much more sober, but rather even more confused.

"Young Master, the bathroom is ready," Kardashian said as she came over.

"I see."

He patted Yumilia's head in his arms.

"Let's go, we should take a shower."

"Um"

When we got to the locker room door, I put her down.

"I'll go check the bathroom. You change your clothes first."

"Um"

There wasn't much to see, but Caesar still wanted to do something at a time like this. He went in to test the water temperature, checked the toiletries and floral oils, and then came out.

Yumilia picked up a bath towel and wrapped it around herself.

After tidying up the clothes she had changed out of and throwing them into the laundry basket, Yumilia had already run inside by herself. Soon after, the girl's giggling laughter as she played in the water could be heard from inside.

Just as Caesar was about to rest for a while, he heard Yumilia calling him: "Caesar! Caesar!"

"what happened again?"

"Come in quickly! Come in quickly!"

"What's up!"

"Come in quickly!"

Left with no other option, Caesar pushed open the door and went inside.

Inside the steamy bathroom, Yumilia was already soaking in the bathtub, and didn't seem to be in any danger.

"What happened?" Caesar stepped forward. Yumilia smiled and raised her hands, proudly showing them to him, her palms covered in bubbles.

"Look, this bubble is shaped like a kitten."

Caesar: “.”

"I'll go out first. Call me if you need anything else."

"Hey, hey."

As soon as he turned around, Yumilia stood up from the bathtub and pulled up his sleeve.

You said you would come with me.

The little elf looked quite aggrieved.

"."

"Ok."

Caesar squatted down by the bathtub, watching the little sprite happily playing with the bubbles in the tub.
While playing, Yumilia suddenly remembered something and looked up: "Where's Ita?"

“She’s not back yet. I’ll go look for her in a bit,” Caesar said.

“Um, Ita used to keep me company. It’s so boring without her,” Yumilia said.

"I didn't realize you were having so much fun playing by yourself," Caesar said.

"hey-hey,"

Yumilia smiled foolishly.

Caesar tried to pull her hand away, but as soon as he stood up, he slipped on a suds of foam and fell into the bathtub.

With a splash of water, Yumilia also fell into the bathtub. Luckily, the bathtub was big enough that she didn't hit the corner.

"Are you OK?"

Caesar immediately got up and began to check on Yumilia.

Under his concerned gaze, Yumilia stared at him blankly, then cupped her hands and splashed water on his face.

"Haha~ Caesar fell for it."

A silvery laugh rang out amidst Caesar's speechless expression.

"His clothes are completely soaked."

After changing his clothes, he went inside and found Yumilia already asleep, leaning against the bathtub with her head tilted to one side.

"Phew, finally it's quiet."

Caesar sighed.

I had just placed the tiny elf on the bed and pulled the blanket over her when my arm was grabbed again.

“Caesar.” Yumilia opened her eyes groggily and looked at him.

"I'm here, what's wrong?"

Yumilia stared at him for a long time, her eyes unconsciously welling up with tears.

"What's wrong now?" Caesar asked hastily.

“I’ll definitely miss Caesar,” Yumilia said sadly.

Yumilia sighed.

Caesar looked at her, but didn't know what to say.

Yumilia looked at him and couldn't help but laugh: "Hehe, just kidding."

Yumilia hugged him and propped herself up, then kissed him on the forehead.

"Good night, happy coming-of-age ceremony, Caesar," Yumilia said in a soft voice.

Goodnight, Yumilia.

Then, the little elf slowly let go of her hand, fell onto the bed, and soon began to breathe evenly.

Caesar quietly felt the faint breath beneath him, and after a while, he slowly got up, pulled the blanket up for her, and left the room.

After leaving the room, he realized his face was burning, and it took him a few breaths to calm down.

The sound of rain pattering outside the house indicated that it had started raining sometime earlier.

He gazed at the increasingly heavy rain outside the window, his brows furrowed tightly.

“Ita.”
