Chapter 61 The Heroic Rock (Please continue reading)
"Damn! This guy's pretty strong."

As Nar gazed at the Earth Bear, which had been sent flying deep into the jungle, its fate unknown, he couldn't help but mutter a curse.

With a serious expression, he looked at Kira, who was also staring at him from a distance, and pondered his next move. He was about to put his hand down from the spellbook and cast another spell.

Just then, a deafening roar came from deep within the woods.

With a roar and the crisp sound of branches snapping, the Earth Bear, with astonishing speed and force, ran back to the battlefield like a heavy truck.

However, the Earth Bear's condition was clearly not optimistic at this moment. Three huge, deep claw marks, revealing the bone, appeared on its broad and thick shoulders. Crimson blood gushed out from these ferocious claw marks, staining half of the giant bear's body red.

Even so, they showed no sign of backing down when facing this behemoth that was tens of meters taller than themselves.

The Earth Bear turned its head, its huge bear eyes fixed firmly on Nar, and nodded slightly to signal him to continue casting the spell. It slowly moved its body to the center of the arena and stood in front of Nar.

On the other side, Groma's ferocious and terrifying dragon head slowly emerged, its long and flexible tongue gently licking its row of incredibly sharp teeth, a sight that made one involuntarily want to run away.

Then, its red-glowing eyes narrowed slightly, and it suddenly opened its mouth wide. A stream of fire, thicker, hotter, and more ferocious than before, erupted like a volcanic eruption, sweeping straight toward the Earth Bear.

The Earth Bear showed no fear in the face of the dragon's sudden attack.

His entire body instantly lit up with a layer of earthen-yellow magic patterns, and as the light flowed, a thick earthen wall tens of meters high rose from the ground.

However, the black flames spewed by Granma were extremely corrosive, and in just a few moments, the seemingly indestructible earthen wall began to thin rapidly.

The Earth Bear, with its mountain-like body, suddenly stood upright, its two broad paws slamming down on the earthen wall.

The next moment, a dense, earthy-yellow energy spread rapidly outward from the bear's paw like ripples. The earthen wall, which was being scorched by the black flames, fluctuated in thickness under the replenishment of the Earth Bear's magic power, but it ultimately withstood the dragon breath spewed out by Gromar's head.

Seeing that it could not break through the earthen wall, Gromar stopped spewing flames. The side of the earthen wall that had been spewed with fire had completely crystallized, turning a shiny black.

Sensing that Groma's attack had stopped, the massive body of the rock, like a small mountain, crashed down heavily to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.

Immediately afterwards, the sound of the Earth Bear panting heavily could be heard, like the whooshing of bellows.

Just as the rocks were catching their breath, a loud "boom" was heard.

The earthen wall, blackened by the flames, shattered instantly as if it had been blown up by explosives, turning into countless fragments that shot out in all directions. A huge beam of light grazed past the giant bear's head.

As the smoke gradually dissipated, one could see the lion's head in the center of Groma staring menacingly at the Earth Bear, its blood-red eyes sending chills down one's spine.

The mountain stone stared at the bear's eyes, which were the size of cartwheels. Suddenly, the horn on the lion's head flashed with a dazzling light. Then, the lion's head slowly opened its mouth, and it was then that it could clearly see what had just shattered the earthen wall.

Within the lion's mouth, an extremely bright ray of light gradually coalesced, like a rising sun constantly gathering and compressing. At the critical point, it transformed into an incredibly thick and dazzling beam of light, shooting towards Angella, who was sitting in the center of the magic circle, with lightning speed.

"Boom" a loud sound

A deafening explosion rang out, the powerful blast sending leaves flying everywhere. As the smoke cleared, a crystal-clear magical shield appeared above Angerla; the beam of light slammed into it, creating ripples.

However, before the Earth Bear could react, the Lion Head began to charge up again, and an even more powerful beam of light burst forth. This time, the defensive shield could no longer withstand such a massive and surging energy impact.

With a crisp cracking sound, the crystal shield shattered instantly, like a glass dome being smashed by a heavy hammer, turning into countless tiny specks of light that dissipated in mid-air.

The outermost rune plate was not spared either. After being affected by this violent power, it first emitted billowing black smoke, and then cracked into several pieces, which fell helplessly to the ground.

The Earth Bear, stunned and frozen in place by Gromar's wild attack, suddenly snapped out of its daze.

Those already enormous eyes widened in terror as they stared intently at the colossal beast before them. The lion's head opened its gaping maw once more, and that chilling energy began to build within it again.

Sensing that its master's life was in danger, the Earth Bear roared angrily and charged towards the giant beast. As the earth-yellow magical runes on its body flashed rapidly, earth elemental energy fluctuations instantly spread throughout the space.

In an instant, several enormous stone pillars, like dragons bursting from the earth, rose rapidly from Groma's chest, billowing with dust. These pillars were hundreds of meters tall, heading straight for the giant beast.

After several loud bangs

Caught off guard, Groma was thrown backward by the sudden impact. His massive body arced through the air before crashing heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

As the lion's head continued to move, the beam of light it spewed from its mouth went out of control, sweeping across and severing a grove of trees behind it. The thick trunks crashed down with a series of dull thuds, and wood chips and leaves flew everywhere, the dust obscuring most of the sky.

Groma, who had fallen to the ground, struggled to her feet amidst the rubble and broken wood, shaking her head as she tried to clear her head.

After regaining its senses, the giant beast's multiple ferocious heads simultaneously turned to the tiny creature that had repeatedly provoked it.

Grama's eyes blazed with fury. He raised his massive tiger paw and slammed it down on a stone pillar blocking his way. The pillar instantly shattered into countless fragments that scattered in all directions.

Seeing the tiny figure blocking his way, Gromar tensed all his muscles, leaned forward slightly, and pushed off the ground with all six limbs. His massive body, trailing billows of dust, hurtled toward the Earth Bear.

Facing the charging behemoth, the Earth Bear showed no fear, continuously spewing out spheres of earthy yellow energy from its mouth, which then hurtled towards the beast.

But this attack was like a tickle to the behemoth. The dragon's head on the left suddenly emerged and lunged at the Earth Bear. Faced with the dragon's attack, the Earth Bear once again displayed agility disproportionate to its size.

With a sidestep, it narrowly avoided the dragon's bite, raised its powerful forelimbs, and slammed its paw down hard on the dragon's head. With a muffled thud, the dragon's head was forced to droop downwards. Using the recoil, the Earth Bear quickly turned and fled to the side.

However, Groma, who was already determined to deal with the Earth Bear, was not about to let his prey escape so easily. The giant beast's thick tail swept out like a steel whip, as fast as the wind. With a dull thud, the Earth Bear, which had not dodged, was slammed to the ground by the giant tail.

The Earth Bear, badly wounded, lay on the ground, blood gushing from its mouth and nose. Groma, having succeeded, slowly walked with heavy steps toward the limp rocks.
