Chapter 62 The Legendary Mage's Power

Chapter 62 The Legendary Mage's Power (Please continue reading)
Looking at the rocks lying on the ground, the dragon head seemed unusually excited, raising its head high and letting out a long roar that resounded through the sky.

Groma walked to the Earth Bear, placed a claw on the bear's back against the rock, opened his dragon head and opened his mouth full of sharp fangs, his long tongue gently licking the Earth Bear's head, his eyes revealing a cruel look, clearly eager to taste this little thing that kept causing him trouble.

"Silus ~ Gina Rigustmaia~~~"

As a series of rapid incantations were uttered, a fire giant a hundred meters tall emerged from the portal, its massive fiery fist striking the beast's side.

Groma was suddenly in pain, let out a scream, and stumbled to the side.

Standing on the shoulders of the fire giant, Naias looked at the blood-soaked rocks in the deep pit, which had returned to their original state after the magic activation had ended, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, we arrived in time. This damned island has practically no fire element. If Shan Shi had been killed, that old man Angorra would have been heartbroken.

Nar commanded the fire giant to take the unconscious Earth Bear out of the pit and gently place it next to his old friend.

“Angela, leave this to me.”

You can try harder.

We're going to find Makucht together later.

We'll settle all the old and new scores then.

Having said that, he and the fire giant walked back towards the giant beast that had risen again.

Come on! Come on!

You disgusting guy

Let me see what you're capable of.

The giant beast Groma swayed as it slowly rose to its feet. Its various beast heads all turned toward the fire giant before it, and simultaneously unleashed deafening roars.

Immediately afterwards, its massive body leaped up and pounced on the fire giant like a hill.

Seeing this, Nar showed no fear and controlled the fire giant to quickly extend its two large hands and firmly grasp the sharp claws that the giant beast was charging towards.

As the colossal beast loomed close at hand, the bright red magic runes on Gnar's body swirled rapidly. The raging red flames around the fire giant suddenly began to change, and with Gnar's magical enhancement, they visibly transformed into dazzling white flames.

At the same time, black smoke billowed from Gromar's forearm, which was being held tightly by the fire giant, and a strong, pungent smell, like burnt rotting flesh, filled the air.

However, the behemoth seemed to feel no pain; the fire giant's attack only fueled its fighting spirit.

Suddenly, the dragon's head shot out and bit down hard on the fire giant's head without hesitation.

For a time, a stalemate ensued.

The four blood-red eyes of the lion's head facing the fire giant looked at Gnar, who was standing on the fire giant's shoulder. The horn shone brightly once more, and the gaping maw slowly opened, gathering blinding light once more.

In just a few breaths, an incredibly thick beam of light shot straight toward Nar, who was standing on the shoulder of the fire giant.

"Ding Ding Ding!"

A series of crisp impacts rang out, and a large crystal light shield appeared out of thin air in front of the fire giant's head. The incoming beam of light collided with the shield, but this time the shield was not broken. The powerful defense caused the beam of light to change direction and deflect to the side.

Nar stared intently at the lion's head, his hand outstretched, the necklace on his wrist radiating a dazzling light. The light shield, imbued with the magic of the bracelet, became iridescent.

In his other hand, the dark red magic book, under the stimulation of magic, turned like a ball of flame, its pages flipping automatically.

A huge magic circle appeared in the sky above the battle between the two, and then dozens of burning stones, each tens of meters in diameter, fell from the magic circle, hitting the giant beast with precision.

After being struck repeatedly by the flint, Gromar Dragon's head was forced to release its grip on the fire giant's head, letting out a painful howl.

Taking advantage of the situation, Nar controlled the fire giant to raise his right leg and kick the behemoth in the belly, sending Gromar flying hundreds of meters away.

Seeing this opportunity, the legendary mage standing on the giant's shoulder immediately began casting a spell again, and a huge magic circle appeared behind the fire giant.

Immediately afterwards, the fire giant's chest swelled rapidly, and a stream of orange-red heat shot out from its head, quickly enveloping the fallen behemoth.

Gromar, in pain, rolled around on the ground, but the heat was like super glue. Even though the giant beast rolled around desperately, it couldn't shake off the orange-red fluid sticking to its body. Instead, the heat spread rapidly throughout its body with each roll.

A few minutes later, the behemoth, completely covered by the heat, lay motionless on the ground, no longer struggling. Nar, standing on his shoulder, watched the behemoth rising in plumes of smoke and let out a long sigh of relief.

If this behemoth hadn't been so mentally confused, acting entirely on its animal instincts, things probably wouldn't have ended so easily today.

"Angela~"
I'm fine here. How are you?

We should go find that guy Markucht; he hasn't improved at all in all these years! What…”

Just as Nar turned to shout to the old druid below, a dazzling beam of light shot out like lightning, piercing straight through the fire giant's broad chest.

The sudden attack caused the fire giant to lose its balance instantly. Its massive body trembled violently, and it could no longer support itself. It stretched out its hands to support itself on the ground and knelt down.

Standing on his shoulder, Nar quickly turned around and saw that the giant beast's body, which was emitting billowing black smoke, had been completely unrecognizable.

Its incredibly hard outer skin was covered with a dense network of crisscrossing cracks, like a tattered spider web, and strange red light flickered within these cracks.

Suddenly, a deafening "bang" was heard.

The beast's chest cavity exploded the next moment, sending countless pieces of flesh and dust flying everywhere. In the thick smoke, a mysterious figure floated faintly.

As a gust of wind howled past, the powerful airflow generated by the flapping of wings quickly dispersed the surrounding thick smoke.

The unidentified creature hidden in the smoke was fully exposed, and Nar took a closer look and couldn't help but gasp.

The legendary mage stared blankly at the dragon before him, towering over ten meters tall with a pair of enormous wings extending from its back. Its head was exceptionally ferocious and terrifying, bearing two thick, curved horns and two blood-red eyes that glared maliciously at Nar.
Its entire body was covered with a dense layer of black scales that shone with a cold metallic luster. A long tail trailed behind it, with flames burning on it. It swung from side to side, leaving a trail of scorching marks wherever it went.
