Thor got knocked away again, huh? Why do I think it's "again"?
As the most powerful Avenger, Thor getting knocked away seems to be a normal occurrence for him. After Peter was pulled up by Thor, the Prince of Thunder still looked relaxed and even had time to ask Peter about the situation: "So, what exactly is Loki looking for? Have you found it?"

The Absorber's abilities in Universe 616 are still in a very early stage; he can transform into whatever he encounters, which is why he has been defeated multiple times. However, Peter was certain of one thing: the Absorber has absolutely not transformed into trees or soil and then back into Uru alloy; he has maintained this state throughout.

"Well... I've found a very generous employer, so I can just—kill you like this!"

Not only can he absorb people, but his transformation ability can also be used on objects of a certain mass that he comes into contact with.
