Chapter 604 Heavenly Sword
From rocket ignition to fairing rupture, only 118 seconds elapsed. Within those 118 seconds, Peter needed to do two things.

"First thing, I'll give you a good beating!"

With immense G-force, Peter charged toward Carnage. In the supersonic environment, he wasn't sure if Carnage could hear him, but there was no doubt that the other could see his movements.

Cletus's arms transformed into blades, and the tentacles on his back softened and turned into countless blades that attacked him. Peter's claws shot out from behind him, blocking Carnage's blades, and then he slammed his fist heavily into the two arm blades that Carnage was swinging at him.

After the punch, Carnage's arm began to shatter and then regenerate at high speed. Peter tried to do a backflip to dodge Carnage's other attack, but he was almost thrown off by the rocket. Fortunately, he managed to grab Carnage's tentacle in time to avoid being thrown off.

“That’s it, Spider-Man! Your webs, your strength, all your abilities are useless here! This is the place I’ve prepared for your demise!” Carnage’s legs sprouted nail-like feet, firmly anchoring him to the rocket’s outer wall, even allowing him to walk relatively easily. He controlled his tentacles to pull Peter over: “Die!”

"Sorry, what did you say?! The wind is too strong, I can't hear you!"

In the midst of the crisis, Peter used his claws to wedge himself onto the rocket, then kicked Carnage, sending him flying into the air. However, Carnage was caught by spider silk on his back. Peter then used his Seraph's Crimson Chains to further reinforce and bind Carnage. The bound Carnage was then slammed under the rocket's engine exhaust nozzle, emitting a shriek that could not be suppressed even at supersonic speeds.

Then, he managed to climb back while still bound by chains.

"To be honest, I thought you weren't afraid of pain. So, are you going to continue?"

Carnage narrowed his eyes. The two were actually talking to themselves, because they couldn't hear each other. Carnage chose to raise a huge shield and advance steadily, trying to squeeze Peter's space to move.

Peter acted swiftly, his nanosuit transforming into the shape of the Iron Spider suit. Then, the arc reactor unleashed a powerful energy beam that struck Carnage's shield, piercing it completely.

There was no one behind the shield. Cletus had already transformed into his more agile symbiote form, burrowed into the rocket, and then appeared behind Peter.

He possesses the ability to block Spider-Man's spider-sense, and in this supersonic environment, Spider-Man simply cannot detect his sneak attack!

Peter turned around and punched Cletus, completely disintegrating the symbiote on his face, then grabbed him by the neck.

"Unfortunately, I had a teacher with a very bad attitude before. He gave me a lot of lectures about 'what symbionts can do'."

As Peter spoke, he grabbed Cletus by the neck and activated the molecular oscillator of the nanosuit. Under the effect of this device that had once separated Venom and Peter, the Carnage Symbiote kept emerging from Cletus's body like potato shreds scraped out with a grater.

Moreover, Cletus was horrified to discover that his control over the other infected killers seemed to have been temporarily blocked.

He couldn't receive any signals from the symbiotes, or even from the massacre around him? The bigger problem wasn't that; the bigger problem was that he was now an ordinary person, having to survive under near-dead G-forces, oxygen deprivation at high altitudes, and unprotected supersonic attacks? The situation took a sharp turn for the worse. If Peter hadn't used some of the symbiote's silk to firmly bind him to the rocket, he probably would have died instantly.

Then, after watching Spider-Man use his webs to stick the rocket's outer shell to the ground, he began using the jet propulsion system of the Iron Spider suit to try and adjust the rocket's trajectory, causing it to fall back to Earth instead of flying into space.

No, there's still a chance...

Cletus realized something; he believed in his lover, in the bond between them. With the symbiotes within him cleared, before he lost consciousness, he hid inside the rocket. The remaining Carnage symbiotes, now without their host, unleashed astonishing power, seeping through the rocket's surface and merging with Cletus once more.

However, Cletus could clearly sense that he was unable to communicate with most of the symbiotes he had infected, let alone control them.

But that's alright, while Spider-Man is correcting his course...

Having broken free from the massacre, it hardened itself again and quietly approached Spider-Man from behind, swinging the scythe on its body at Spider-Man. However, once again, Spider-Man was able to dodge the attack without Spider-Sense, and then simply did a backflip... and jumped away?
Spider-Man leaped out and launched his web and nanobots at Cletus. These nanobots, capable of fusing with the symbiote, instantly became a cage of slaughter, attempting to trap Cletus firmly on the rocket. As for Spider-Man, he had already made his escape.

Peter hurriedly used the remaining power in his suit to quickly lift the Iron Spider mode off the rocket's trajectory. He watched the rocket fly towards the Atlantic Ocean and enter uninhabited waters, and checked on Coulson's situation.

"You've finished everything on your end, right? The massacre should have been out of control of NASA employees by now."

"Yes, everything is ready. From the satellite, it was indeed a very dangerous moment, Spider-Man."

Coulson praised Peter's actions, then relayed the message to the other side: "We're done here, Captain Mar-Vell, please begin."

While struggling to escape the nanobots' carnage aboard the rocket, for some reason, alarm bells went off in his mind, and his spider-sense-derived simulated senses began issuing frantic warnings. But hadn't Spider-Man already run away? He only needed a few seconds to break free, and then he could still stuff the symbiote into the rocket's separation components, causing even more severe infection! He'd make this Spider-Man who fled regret it!

However, as Cletus broke free of the nanobots, he discovered that the sky had darkened.

It wasn't because of the clouds overhead, but because a huge, sword-shaped spaceship had entered the atmosphere. The warship's bow was aimed at the rocket that had flown over the Atlantic Ocean and hadn't yet begun to separate. The energy beams that were already ready to launch were aimed at the rocket and fired.

An energy beam, capable of covering almost an entire city and with a diameter of tens of kilometers, was unleashed upon the rocket and the still-struggling massacre in an instant.
