Chapter 605 The End of the Slaughter
Chapter 605 The End of the Slaughter
The instant Peter detached from the rocket, he used the few remaining nanobots to form a flight thruster to maintain stability. Then, he opened a portal to leave the bombing range, cast a spell to float in the air, and quietly watched from afar as a large area of the sea was bombarded by the Sky Sword Bureau's base warships.
Because Kovacs corrected reality before leaving, Kang's flagship was captured without suffering significant damage. The United Nations then convened a meeting and established the Sky Sword Bureau, using this futuristic warship whose principles were still not fully understood by humanity, as its base. This bureau was specifically responsible for negotiating with and defending against extraterrestrial civilizations.
Naturally, this warship became the most powerful weapon on Earth, and then Peter summoned it to bomb and massacre people.
Peter didn't think Cletus could survive a bombing of this magnitude, but just in case, after the bombing ended, he used his slingshot to open a portal and went to the site of the massacre to make sure Cletus was really dead.
"There's not even a trace of the rocket itself left. I guess Cletus really is..."
Peter's spider-sense didn't react, but the suit's radar detected a hypersonic object flying towards him. He immediately turned around to try to dodge, and then saw an unbelievable scene: a man who was almost charred and had no body hair, with symbiotic wings growing from his back, rushed over. His legs, right arm, and most of his body had disappeared, and most of the remaining body had crystallized and carbonized.
But this did not prevent Cletus from still being alive, barely clinging to life, and even accelerating his self-healing process.
Cletus's secret to survival was precisely the method he had devised in case he was launched into space with Spider-Man: by consuming the remaining energy of the Kill Symbiote, he accelerated its own division, and then continuously used the newly split symbiotes to harden and block the laser bombardment, while constantly regenerating itself.
In this almost life-or-death situation, this guy actually survived.
"I'm back alive from hell! Spider-Man!"
With extraordinary speed, Carnage was already close to Peter. Peter turned the last part of the nanobots into claws on his back, and then tried to predict Carnage's movements and intercept him using prophecy magic, but found that the prophecy had failed again.
It seems that Nar's remaining consciousness is still clinging to a sliver of hope at this point.
At this point, Carnage was no longer thinking about survival. If Spider-Man truly believed he was going to die, he could still escape. But since Spider-Man had arrived, there was no way to escape without a fight to the death. He had lost all control over the other symbiotes, which meant he couldn't even transfer his own consciousness.
So, to survive, you have to take down Spider-Man!
"To come up with a way to survive, are you some kind of ultimate being?"
As Peter spoke, he retreated in mid-air, then turned and fired a web that stuck to Carnage. He then unleashed his full bio-electricity, causing the current to strike Carnage's surface. Carnage, laughing maniacally, swung the hardened blade from the symbiote and pierced Spider-Man's body.
"Are you tickling me? It's all over!"
Cletus laughed maniacally, feeling the blade pierce Spider-Man's body for a moment. He seemed to see an ultimate world of unparalleled glory, a world where he could feel absolute freedom, a world where he could perfectly realize his art, a world where… He suddenly stopped and looked around. He had come to a familiar place, a place that seemed strangely familiar. This was the place where he first encountered Carnage, the place where he met that god. But why was he here?
What about a massacre?
He sensed that his lover was still there, but...
He looked toward the ancient throne, where what appeared to be an old corpse sat quietly, and all was still.
Suddenly, Cletus felt a little surprised. He turned around and saw one infected person after another, some of whom he remembered and some he didn't, appearing around him. What was even more terrifying was that they were also able to control the slaughter and tear it apart.
"What are you doing?! What are you doing?! What happened?!"
Cletus, in a moment of terror, seemed to realize something: Where was he? Why was he here?!
In his terror, he didn't notice that the body on the throne twitched its fingers slightly.

The symbiotic planet Klinta.
The countless symbiotes living on this planet are spending an ordinary day. As a special race that loves peace and enjoys communicating with humans, their daily tasks are to fight off aliens who come to Clint to abduct symbiotes, find and expel Nar's followers, or find noble warriors to fight alongside them.
The most powerful life form in all of Krintar, and their leader, is Krintar itself. In the language of the symbiotes (although it's hard to say they actually have a language), this word means "cage." It refers to the collective of the symbiotes who sealed themselves as part of the planet and imprisoned Nal. They have now become an independent symbiote, the Hive Consciousness, to isolate Nal from the contamination of other symbiotes.
Then there's the Space Agents, an organization composed of noble warriors and the most powerful symbiotes of Klinta, whose purpose is to listen to the voice of the universe and defend its peace. And now, these Space Agents, originally scattered throughout the universe, have returned to Klinta.
"Has Nar awakened?" A space agent asked the question that concerned him most. Ever since Nar's consciousness was sealed by an unknown god, the symbiotes had been on guard against Nar's possible return. Faced with this question, another space agent shook his head: "Only a tiny fragment of his consciousness has returned; he is far from awakening. But from the same direction, a large number of symbiote hosts are dying."
Everyone fell silent. They began to discuss what they should do and quickly came to a conclusion: they might have been ignoring Krintar's greatest threat in the past, but now they needed to change. They would proactively travel to the planet that sealed Nal to check if the seal was secure.
If possible, they may need to take special measures.
