Chapter 541 The Great Battle with Mephisto (27 chapters missing)
"Steve Strange, the great Sorcerer Supreme."

Mephisto saw Strange and couldn't help but smile. He began to praise Strange, but for some reason, none of his words sounded good.

"The guardian of reality, but he let in a terrible demon and a dimensional lord, a brilliant surgeon, but whose hands cannot move properly, and a gifted mage, but who watched his teacher die in front of him."

"Haha, that's funny."

Strange remained unmoved and asked Mephisto, "Are you really not going to get out of here? I think it'll be troublesome if I kick you out later."

"Who do you take me for? Velasco?"

Mephisto remained unmoved, so Strange immediately cast a spell to cast protective magic on the other four people present, and then used the Crimson Chains of Seratok to summon chains from all directions to bind Mephisto.

"Ah, Spider-Man, many people say you are Nice's messenger. Let me see if it's true."

Mephisto abruptly disappeared from Peter's layers of restraints, then reached out from behind Peter, pulling his hand with his chains and dragging him in front of him, looking into Mephisto's eyes.

"Hehehe, you would never guess how long I've been looking forward to this day."

“Me too, Johnny.” Mephisto smiled. “You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for you to discover that I have no soul to burn. And besides, you think Ghost Rider is immortal, don’t you?”

Braving the hellfire, Mephisto pierced Ghost Rider's body, grabbed his spine, lifted him up, and then realized, "Oh, you really are immortal. There's something wrong with your vengeful spirit, so even I can't take it back."

"But that doesn't mean you're invincible, does it?"

Logan roared and plunged his claws into Mephisto from behind. Mephisto turned his head 180 degrees in shock: "Oh, indestructible! There's just one problem, you know metal rusts, right?"

Logan was stunned for a moment, then Mephisto smiled and took a step back, watching the steel claw that had emerged from his body turn into rotten scrap metal. Logan's entire skeleton was so fragile that a mere touch of his finger would shatter his bones and send him sprawling to the ground.

Hulk was the last to rush in. He punched Mephisto in the face, then raised his fist. Mephisto yawned and asked Hulk, "Are you done?"

Hulk was shocked for a second, then roared and threw countless punches. After countless punches, Hulk raised his fist, and Mephisto was still unharmed. He yawned boredly, then pulled out a music box from somewhere, which played a lullaby. Hulk listened to it and became drowsy, then fell to the ground.

"Alright, what has our archmage been doing for the past ten seconds? Did he do nothing at all?"

Mephisto turned to look at Strange, but Strange seemed to be standing still, doing nothing. Mephisto frowned, looking around curiously, then took a step towards Strange, puzzled. He saw the corners of Strange's mouth turn up slightly, and quickly stopped. Then Strange's smile widened.

"You should know that I am the Sorcerer Supreme, and I taught Ghost Rider how to cast spells."

Strange smiled slightly: "Of course I can teach others too."

Mephisto looked at Peter in surprise. Peter opened a portal at Mephisto's feet. Of course, Mephisto didn't fall down; he just turned around and looked at Peter with great curiosity: "I didn't know you were so talented, Spider-Man."

“I have friends in everything from magic to science, so I can learn something from everything.”

“Similarly, you have enemies in both magic and science.” Mephisto looked at Peter with great interest: “Have you ever considered saving the whole world by giving me your soul? I can grant your wish, and you can save everyone.”

What happens after they're rescued?

Mephisto smiled without saying a word, while Strange finally finished his preparations. Peter looked at Strange curiously, unsure of what Strange had come up with to deal with a dimensional demon that had descended in its true form.

Strange's solution was quite simple and direct. Mephisto seemed to sense something and looked at Strange with slight surprise.

"Everyone here is bait; you're actually having someone plot against me in Kamar-Taj."

“Karmar-Taj has prepared a lot of monster souls, which can come in handy now.” Strange made his final threat to the other party: “What would happen if a dimensional daemon who has left his own dimension suddenly had countless monsters appear in his domain? If you don’t go home now, Mephisto, your home may be gone.”

“Very creative, very interesting. You’re much more fun than any of the Sorcerers Supreme in history, Strange.”

"If you don't want me to just throw the Book of Vishanti or the Dark Book at you, you'd better get lost now."

Mephisto shrugged and left after hearing Strange's threat, but in reality, he had already achieved his goal. Peter, watching the devil disappear, asked Strange curiously, "Why didn't you just throw the Book of Vishanti at him?"

"Because the Book of Vishanti only contains defensive white magic, it is certainly enough to defeat Mephisto. However, Mephisto is well aware of the Book of Vishanti's purpose—as long as he stands in front of us for a hundred years, we will find absolutely no way to attack him with the Book of Vishanti.
