I'm working on Marvel's Spider-Man in American comics.
Chapter 475 Sudden Business Trip
Chapter 475 Sudden Business Trip
The investigation into Nimrod seems to have stalled. Until S.H.I.E.L.D. finds the promethium stockpile, or the X-Men find Rogue, the Avengers have nothing to do. Peter doesn't know when the X-Men or S.H.I.E.L.D. will get results, but trouble has struck him first.
The Spider-Sense rang again, revealing images from other universes: in complete darkness, a Spider-Man wearing a bowler hat and a black trench coat appeared on the streets of America in 1933.
"You can take advantage of this free time to deal with the multiverse issue."
Mrs. Spider, who had come to visit, was leisurely drinking coffee at the Spider Web Base when she tossed Peter the idol that Peter and Cindy had brought back from Italy: "Take this with you, it might come in handy."
"Is this the future you envision?"
Peter asked Mrs. Spider, but she didn't answer. He sighed helplessly, "We're facing an enemy that could destroy the world at any moment, and now the Web of Fate is sending me to other worlds..."
“This isn’t about running away, Spider-Man. Perhaps it’s another way to solve the problem.” Julia Carpenter smiled at Peter. “Sometimes, taking a detour is a shortcut.”
"Trust me, you will find what you need there."

Earth-90214, 1933, New York.
A light rain had just fallen, and the night remained dark. New York was no different from before; the damp air carried the smell of earth, and water splashed by speeding cars sprayed onto both sides of the road.
Inside the speeding car sat Max Dillon, an electrical engineer and the head of an electrical company under the Osborn Group. Wearing a heavy overcoat, he sat in the car, looking at the newspaper headlines. The headline read, "Spider-Man Appears, Killing Innocent Citizens."
He didn't kill innocent civilians.
Max muttered to himself, knowing that the guy killed by the Spider-Man was an assassin hired by Osborn, a thug codenamed Vulture who used a hang glider to carry out assassinations. He was shot dead in mid-air by a revolver.
There was a second one, a third one...
Suddenly, Max heard a heavy thud from the roof of the car, as if something had hit it. Max unbuttoned his trench coat and said to the driver, "Don't stop, keep going."
The driver nervously swallowed. The Daily Bugle had been reporting on that damned guy called Spider-Man these days. It was said that he was not only invulnerable to bullets and blades, but also constantly killing people. He was simply a super freak.
Could this be the guy who climbed onto the roof of the car?
The helpless driver heard a muffled sound, followed by another, and another. On the third sound, the roof of the car was smashed open with a punch, and then the roof was torn open, revealing a strange man in a trench coat over a blacked-out pilot's uniform and wearing pilot goggles, who looked at Max.
What is Osborne doing?
“Your threats are nothing to Mr. Osborn, Spider-Man. You are threatening a legitimate businessman.”
Then, Spider-Man raised his revolver at Max: "Let me ask you another question, what is Green Goblin doing?!"
Max finally smiled. The next second, a surge of electricity shot into the sky, knocking the Spider-Man to the ground. The car then stopped, and Max got out, tearing open his trench coat to reveal a complex circuit system.
“Spider-Man, I know that’s what you call yourself. You have some…superhuman strength.” Max said with a smile, then brandished two chains crackling with electricity. “But times have changed! This is the age of technology! And I, I wield the power of electricity.” A gunshot rang out.
The so-called Electro's knee was shattered by a bullet, and he collapsed to the ground. Spider-Man turned the cylinder of his revolver: "I'll only ask you once, what is Green Goblin planning?"
A few minutes later, Spider-Man crouched on a nearby rooftop, watching the police arrive to collect the body. He knew very well that the court would not deliver a fair trial; Norman Osborn was nominally an entrepreneur and a wealthy man, but in reality, he was the patriarch and leader of the New York Mafia.
If only the power I received from the so-called Spider God were stronger, I could at least storm into Osborne's heavily guarded mansion and shoot him dead. But no, I'm just an ordinary person, I don't have that kind of power.
No, that's enough. Peter Parker clearly realized that there was no one else in the world like him. Everyone else was just an ordinary person, but he had already gained superhuman strength, speed, and endurance, which was enough for him to fight crime.
Suddenly, his spider-sense went off, and Spider-Man quickly got up. Behind him, something he couldn't understand appeared. A rotating door opened, and a thin, tall man walked out. He was deathly pale, like a corpse, with long, slicked-back hair and wearing what appeared to be ornate Victorian clothing.
Most importantly, his eyes are red.
"Vampires? Why am I getting so excited?"
Spider-Man, who was initially a little worried, sighed. With the Spider-God already, what was there to worry about with vampires? He raised his revolver and pointed it at the other person: "No matter whose blood you're planning to suck, you've got the wrong person."
"Vampire? Sorry, you seem to have misunderstood me." The other party bowed very politely to Spider-Man: "I am not a vampire, and I can walk in the sun. Actually, I'm here to eat, and my food is you, the frail spider totem."
“I am Moron, the hunter of your spider totem.”
Spider-Man, his spider-sense blaring like never before, raised his hand to fire a shot at the man named Morlen in front of him. However, Morlen was faster than a bullet, dodging the shot and grabbing Spider-Man by the neck. He then opened his mouth, and a terrifying suction force sucked Spider-Man's soul in, making him feel his life force rapidly draining away.
What the hell is this thing?!
Just then, the demon let out a painful howl and abandoned him. Then, Spider-Man heard a somewhat familiar voice, but he couldn't place it. Looking up, he saw a person wearing a red and black web suit.
"The successor? I've heard so much about you, but this is the first time we've met, isn't it?"
"Clan leader?" Molun covered his face, the wound left on him by the other party tearing through space. He looked at the other party warily and with interest, then smiled and slowly retreated.
“I look forward to hunting you, Chieftain.”
Although it felt a bit abrupt, going to Spider-Man Noir first was indeed part of the planned plot.
