Chapter 333 The Immortal Kang
Peter dragged a demonic nightwalker from a parallel universe to Limbo, and he was quite certain that this nightwalker was not a native of Limbo.

As soon as he entered the borders of Hell, he encountered countless completely demonized Nightwalkers, swarming him like a wholesaler. Peter took a deep breath, preparing to rely entirely on his spider-sense for a fierce battle—

Aha! I am now full of power!

Venom "exploded" in an instant, piercing the demonic Nightcrawlers with its spikes. Peter was surprised to discover two things: first, Venom's attributes had been greatly enhanced; second, he could feel a stronger magical connection, and Spider-Man's spellcasting was even easier on Limbo.

What's happening here?
I don't know, but this place feels a bit like Nar.

Peter looked at the demonic Nightwalkers, some wounded and some dead. He didn't know if these people were modified by Velasco or naturally influenced by the frontier. They could hardly be considered human anymore, although Nightwalkers were not human to begin with.

"Okay, what's next? I need to check my divination skills to confirm the X-Men and Iliana's directions... Hmm?"

Peter's spider senses blared loudly. He looked around and saw a tall man with prominent cheekbones, wearing a green robe and a purple cloak, walk out.

"Spider-Man, I am the great Immortal, and I bring you the revelation of destiny!" The man who called himself the Immortal appeared in front of Peter and began to speak to himself: "The reason why the X-Men have fallen to this state is because they tried to change destiny and change history! And you, Spider-Man, must put everything back on the right track of destiny."

Peter stared at the man for a long time, silent, thinking, recalling the man's face, recalling the comics he had read, and finally came to a conclusion.

"Kang?"

"I am immortal!"

"Um, are you a variant of Kang the Immortal, or are you a suit of Kang the Conqueror?"

After looking at Peter in silence for a while, the Immortal said righteously, "I am now just the Immortal, not anyone else."

Okay, this isn't a variant Kang created for himself; this is Kang's suit. He put on a skin called the Immortal and then ran out. Peter sighed and looked at Immortal Kang, finally understanding what he was doing: "You pushed things to happen because the X-Men were protecting Iliana from being kidnapped by Velasco?"

"You are trying to change the course of fate, Avengers. You are trying to deviate from history, and I am correcting it. The fate of everyone, including Curt Connors, should be corrected."

Peter, too lazy to waste words with Kang, simply covered Kang's face with spider webs and slammed him to the ground. However, Kang quickly recovered, proving that possessing the Time Stone indeed allowed one to do whatever one wanted, or at least be very durable.

"I protected the X-Men and Spider-Man; their time is frozen by me and will not be corrupted. If you can reach them, their time will be restored, but be careful, you must first find Iliana Rasputin; she is the key to everything."

Ignoring the symbiote piercing his chest, the Immortal spoke as he left. He was indeed an Immortal, and could not die a normal death no matter what. Peter couldn't help but frown as he watched the Immortal appear and run away again.

Kang the Conqueror tries to stop the Avengers from using the list to alter history, at least as Kang sees it. However, if history does get on track, he'll actually help ensure the timeline develops in his favor. In other words, unless you find an opportunity to eliminate Kang and obtain the Time Stone from him, he'll endlessly try to make everyone who could potentially be a villain a villain. He might even travel to the point in time where every villain could have been born and create them all himself.

Perhaps this is what Kovacs meant when he said that the Kang dynasty was inevitable.

“We will stop you, Kang.”

"It doesn't matter. At least for now, you have things to do, Spider-Man."

The Immortal teleported away again. Peter frowned and began to roughly cast a spell. As a magic student, he hadn't even entered the basics. But at this moment, Peter's divination spell was unexpectedly smooth. The spider sense was no longer a simple buzzing sound, but a real, fragmented image appeared, as clear as the epitaph of the Crimson King.

"Okay, it looks like we've found the direction to go. All we have to do is head in that direction."

As Peter spoke, he looked around warily. He was quite certain that Velasco had discovered him, and now he needed to be constantly vigilant about the other party's situation, just in case. He awkwardly borrowed Nice's power to create a shield for his soul.

At this very moment, in the palace on the border of Hell, Velasco had prepared a spell to corrupt Spider-Man's soul. Countless souls were sacrificed at this instant, the dark magic was activated, and Velasco let out a sinister, cackling laugh.

"You're just a mortal. Your soul is mine now. Open the gate to the Supreme Universe for me—Holy crap, Gnar!"

When the soul-attacking magic rushed towards Spider-Man, Velasco saw only emptiness, as if the other's soul did not exist. Then he felt the power of the Living Abyss, a power that represented a void and darkness deeper than the Dark Dimension. Instead of corrupting Spider-Man's soul, it strengthened the energy he borrowed from the Limbo spell.

As for the symbiotes, due to the similarity between the environments of Hell's Border and the Living Abyss, they would normally be enhanced upon arriving here.

Why is Nar's consciousness sealed inside this mortal's body?

While cursing, Velasco suddenly realized that this was a backlash from Gnar, stemming from a desire to obtain Gnar's soul. However, Gnar's consciousness was sealed within Velasco's soul. In other words, if he eliminated Spider-Man and freed Gnar, he certainly wouldn't stop him. The Living Abyss was a power rooted in every universe; Gnar could definitely return. And considering Velasco had saved him, getting a ticket wasn't out of the question.

"Then your soul will be destroyed, Spider-Man!"

The new ritual performed by Velasco will channel power to destroy Spider-Man's soul!
This time, he didn't see Nal, but he also didn't trigger Spider-Man's defenses on his soul.

Because all Velasco saw was a giant web spreading out from the depths of Spider-Man's soul, followed by a giant golden spider extending its claws toward Velasco.

"Holy crap, nice!"
