Chapter 265 Destruction is Imminent
In fact, just as Peter and his companions arrived in Latveria, another time-traveling adventurer also arrived on Earth 2149. This was Ash Williams, the one-armed chainsaw man from the *Evil Dead* film series. He was also the first to witness the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse. The zombie crisis has nothing to do with the Necronomicon.

The Necronomicon was just trying to mess with its old rival, Ash. By telling him that an army of the dead was about to rise, Ash would assume it was the Necronomicon's doing and risk his life to come to this wretched place. 　　The starvation virus is considered irreversible; even the Phoenix on Earth 2149 was infected, and the Phoenix on Earth 80777 could not be reversed. However, Logan the Old Wolf from the Wasteland Universe and Elsa the Bloodstone from Universe 616 both managed to reverse this mutation, and Deadpool from Universe 616 also stopped the transformation process using the serum from 2149.
