Chapter 264 Zombie Hero!

"It all started with a bolt of lightning in the rolling dark clouds..."

On the ruins of the Baxter Building in Earth-2149, Doctor Doom, Victor von Doom, crossed his arms and glanced sideways at Spider-Man, wondering why this young superhero would utter such a statement after arriving in this universe.

Does it make sense?

The Fantastic Four had undoubtedly been here, as there were signs of a battle and the crater left by their flying vehicle. Doom cast an energy shield on Peter to prevent him from being bitten by zombies. Although, for him, Spider-Man's only purpose was as a means of transportation.

As for Doom himself, Doctor Doom fears no enemy.

Doom glanced at Spider-Man again.

Before the words were even finished, a violent explosion caused by the fighting occurred in New York City, which was already a living hell outside.

At this very moment, the Fantastic Four of 616 are fighting alongside Magneto, who may be the only survivor. Well, he's probably not the only survivor. Magneto says he has more than a dozen people hidden inside the space station on Asteroid X, and he has also rescued three civilians who are with him. Their goal is to go to the Baxter Building and use the multiverse shuttle there to return to the 616 universe.

But the zombie heroes in front of them swarmed forward as if there were no end in sight.

Quicksilver charged toward the crowd, and just as he was about to reach the stone man, a spider web stuck to his head. Quicksilver, at high speed, was sent flying, leaving only his head behind, which was then dismissively tossed aside.

"I have to say, watching zombies on TV is disgusting enough, but fighting them is even more disgusting."

"Wait, is that Spider-Man?"

The zombie Iron Man in the group looked at the zombie Spider-Man, then at the Spider-Man in the different uniform with something on his back: "Reed's machine worked?"

It was a success, and a failure. The first thing Doom did after arriving in this universe was to smash the half-finished multiverse shuttle on this side of the universe. What a mess it was, completely meaningless. The concrete surface changed, and countless concrete giants appeared around them. After temporarily separating these things, Doom came to Reed and Susan. Reed looked at Doom with deep emotion: "Victor, I didn't expect you to come and save me."

“Opportunities to witness Reed Richards’ folly are rare,” Doom said, opening a portal. “I’ve destroyed the teleportation device at Baxter Tower. Now, follow me.”

Three civilians rushed in first, followed by Magneto and the Fantastic Four. Peter, carrying something on his back, went ahead. Doom snapped his fingers, letting the concrete giants do as they pleased, and then stepped into the portal himself. As soon as he emerged, he heard Susan's foolish brother ask a foolish question.

"Where are we?"

Latovilla.

In the original zombie hero storyline, after Zombie Reed infected himself and the other Fantastic Four, he quickly chose to attack Latovilla. However, due to the change in the timeline, Reed from Universe 616 contacted Zombie Reed in advance, causing him to change his mind and decide to go to Universe 616 to feast on himself. In addition, the time flow rates of Universe 2149 and Universe 616 are different, so Latovilla actually escaped the disaster.

But it's clear that once the zombies can't find food anywhere else on Earth, they'll come here too.

As for why Doom came here...

"I am the King of Latvia, and I will save the people of Latvia."

"Dude, this isn't your universe." The Human Torch couldn't understand Doom's mentality: "Why are you bothering to save Latvia here?"

Doom in Earth-616 Universe looked at his counterpart, while Doom in Earth-2149 looked at Reid.

“You will have everything you need, Richards, but I hope you’re not as foolish as the version of yourself in this universe. As for me, Doom, I hope you’re smart enough to know what you’re doing.”

Doom of Universe 616 frowned in displeasure.
