Chapter 194 Signal
"Okay, let's see what we can do..."

Jenna Simmons looked at Whiplash, the symbiote that had wreaked havoc the night before, sealed inside the containment device. She brushed her messy hair aside and put on her glasses. This entirely new creature fascinated her; she had never seen anything so bizarre before, and it thrilled her. She examined the symbiote inside the containment container, first using an electronic scanner to analyze Whiplash's entire body.

The entire bus team was busy with their own tasks. Due to Coulson's regulations, they could only conduct experiments here. Simmons was happily analyzing the molecular structure of Whiplash, while Fitz had already begun analyzing the active symbiote sample extracted from Spider-Man's blood and some characteristics of Whiplash, hoping to find some features for remote signal capture.

"it's wired……"

After working on the computer for a while, Fitz looked up in confusion and muttered to himself, "The symbiote in Spider-Man's blood isn't reacting, but... is this called Whiplash? It's sending out some special electromagnetic signals, and it's a cyclical, rhythmic signal."

“You mean, he’s summoning his kind?” Ward punched the sandbag, while Fitz thought for a moment and shook his head uncertainly. “I’m not sure, but if that’s the case, it might be the most troublesome one.”

“Or, we can wipe them all out.” Ward shrugged after punching the sandbag, but he didn’t control his strength well and the sandbag flew back and hit him on the head, making everyone laugh. Ward shrugged helplessly: “What’s wrong? I’m telling the truth, aren’t I? They’re just a bunch of alien slimes who are afraid of fire and sound waves. Let’s just take them down.”

"Can you find out who it was sent to?"

“No, this electromagnetic signal is very strange. Logically speaking, the symbiotes don’t have a diffusion device, and given the decay rate of the signals they send, it’s impossible for them to travel very far. Theoretically, unless the symbiotes are right next to us, we shouldn’t be able to receive the signal.” Fitz said, frowning as he suddenly seemed to have discovered something: “Wait, something seems… odd. Um, the whip’s signal isn’t being sent horizontally; it’s being sent upwards.”

The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents all looked up—at the thick ceiling.

Actually, there's a fairly simple way to find out the purpose of the whipping: just find someone to be possessed by the whipping spirit and then ask them. However, this method is too immoral and uncontrollable, so no one mentions it anymore.

Ward made his own conjecture as a reckless man.

"So...they're asking aliens for help?"

“Spider-Man said these guys are traitors to their own kind, their goal is to find their god. I don’t think their own kind will come.” At this point, Coulson suddenly seemed to realize something, and after a moment’s thought, looked at Fitz: “Are these signals special repeating signals?”

"Yes, it repeats the message, just like sending a fixed message, but we haven't deciphered it yet."

"Are you able to search for other similar frequency bands on Earth?"

Fitz understood what Coulson was going to do, and after tapping a few times on the tablet, he said, "I've connected to all of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s research satellites for synchronized monitoring, but as I said before, the decay rate of these signals isn't fast enough for the instruments to detect them. Maybe they can do it themselves."

"Point all the satellite analysis equipment at the Nordic region."

Fitz stopped and looked at Coulson, who looked at Fitz innocently: "What's wrong? Can't you do it?"

"It's not impossible." Fitz shook his head helplessly, then picked up the tablet and began adjusting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s satellites, focusing on the Nordic region to enhance signal acquisition. Coulson studied the map for a while before looking at Fitz. Fitz, having coordinated with the Nordic telescopes and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s satellites, managed to pick up a repeating signal from the chaotic electromagnetic signals, looking at Coulson in surprise. "Spider-Man told Director Fury a story, a story about the Symbiote God being defeated by lightning. If these symbiotes came to Earth to find their god, their god is here, defeated by lightning—"

So this god is most likely Thor, and the symbiote god was probably defeated in Norse mythology.

What happened next was clear.

Midtown Middle School.

Peter received a special call from Tony Stark. Somewhat surprised, he answered, and Tony's voice came through: "Hey kid. S.H.I.E.L.D. found something special, and they're sure they should tell you."

"Okay, I'm listening. What did they find out?"

“Signals of symbiotes have been detected in Northern Europe, and they're most likely not the ones you're trying to capture.” Tony said, but Peter immediately understood what they had discovered. He quickly left the corridor, and after confirming that no one was around, he asked, “Wait, what did they find?”

"We don't know yet. Just in case, S.H.I.E.L.D. invited the Avengers and the Fantastic Four to go and see what that thing is. And just in case, maybe they can take care of it directly?"

No, no, no, please don't!

Peter was now in a real bind, and sighed helplessly. He told Tony what Venom had told him: "Once a symbiote dies, its consciousness returns to its collective consciousness network. If they really find Nar's symbiote dragon, killing it will put Nar's consciousness back. Then an entire planet's worth of symbiotes will become his army, invading the universe everywhere."

Tony paused for a moment on the other side, then said "Oh," it was unclear whether he had taken it in or not.

But all in all, Peter sighed with considerable helplessness.

"Okay, should I ask the school for leave?"

“What? Of course not.” Tony bluntly explained why Peter wasn’t coming: “Don’t you still have to go to school? What I mean is, you don’t need to come on this mission. Just take care of New York. The Avengers and the Fantastic Four go and see what this so-called Symbiote God is all about.”

Peter was completely bewildered after hanging up the phone. His spider-sense hadn't yet told him whether there was any danger, but the whole thing seemed dangerous no matter how you looked at it.

So he decided to go after school to ask an expert in the field.

I originally planned to update 20 chapters tomorrow, but something came up. I woke up this morning to find blood in my urine and went to the hospital. How many chapters I update tomorrow will depend on the situation; I'll try to update 20.

The first update will start at 1 AM, followed by the second at 2 AM. I'll try to post part of it around 1 AM, and the rest tomorrow.
