Chapter 127 Evil Spirit
The rice stalks pierced the skin and flesh, and the two became entangled and gradually intertwined.

Before long, a scarecrow with a bird's head and crow's wings appeared.

"quack!"

After glancing at the old house below from afar, Baling leaped into the air and headed to the nearby forest to hunt some small animals, drawing life force to restore his body.

When night fell again.

Baling planned to defeat the enemy in one fell swoop and crush Bashiba.

With a gentle flap of its wings, Baling flew to the second-floor window.

After suffering a setback, Basshiba seemed to hide away, waiting for the optimal period for her power to be unleashed.

Baling didn't care. No matter how strong he was, it was still the same. Once he faced his own true form, it would just be a matter of a normal attack.

Upon entering the old house, Baling discovered that there were quite a few hidden guests.

Less than ten seconds after entering, a little boy was wandering around and sneaking into a room, which happened to be the room Baling had entered.

This is a double room with two beds. One bed is for the fifth daughter, April, and the other is for the third daughter, Cindy.

The little boy slowly approached his third daughter, Cindy, and gently patted her forehead. Cindy suddenly closed her eyes and sat up.

Then she walked forward blankly, as if she were sleepwalking.

"Boy, what are you doing?"

As he was leading the way, the little boy Rory was startled by the sudden sound.

Without a sound, Baling gently patted him, and the boy Rory jumped to the side with a "quack".

He looked around in alarm, but saw nothing.

How could this be? Is it haunted?
Rory was uneasy, but he couldn't see anything. Little did he know that Baling had been blocking his view from behind the back of his head.

"Phew—! I'm just scaring myself. I'm a ghost, what's there to be afraid of?"

After nothing happened, Rory's troubled mind gradually calmed down.

He comforted himself and continued to use illusions to guide Cindy in order to complete the task of the evil witch Basshiba.

Crunch!

The wooden door made a slight noise.

He stepped out of the room, but suddenly froze, his face as white as a corpse.

"Don't move! Or I'll let you see your own brains."

His cold yet confident words, like a merciless bullet, shattered Rory's defenses.

A bone spear was pressed against the back of Rory's head, its sharp edge filling him with terror.

That is a danger that can threaten the soul.

Rory wasn't sure if brains would splatter out once he poked it, but he was certain it would kill him.

"At such a young age, he's already learning hypnosis; he doesn't learn the good stuff, he only learns the bad stuff."

Baling kicked Rory, sending him sprawling into the corridor.

After falling to the ground, Rory immediately begged for mercy: "Waaah, I was forced into this, please, don't kill me. I surrender, I repent, I admit my mistake."

"How can someone like you change?"

Baling raised the bone spear, and Rory's eyes widened, his mind filled with great confusion.

Tonight was the first time he had done something wrong, and all he did was hypnotize Cindy to bump into the closet. It's not a capital offense.

call out!
A flash of cold light, and the spear tip stopped between his brows.

Rory's vision went black and he fainted from fright, but the next second, sensing danger, he woke up again.

"Stop hurting my son!"

Suddenly, an older woman burst out from the side, charging towards us with the force of a wolf or a boar.

"Mom, hurry up!"

Rory was worried that his mother might also perish here, so he called out urgently.

But she couldn't stop. Desperate to save her son, the overweight woman, Walker, mustered all her strength and slammed the knife down with a loud thud.

Having soared over the Baling that flew up to the ceiling, the old woman smashed through the railing, and then, due to the excessive force, her figure became semi-transparent. "Mom—!"

Before Rory could even grieve, his mother grabbed him and jumped off the building, rushing towards the basement.

The loud noise tonight woke up everyone in the house.

Concerned for their daughter's safety, Roger and his wife rushed over.

They stared in astonishment at the collapsed fence, then anxiously inquired whether their third daughter, Cindy, was injured.

Fortunately, everything is fine, except for the fence.

That's very strange, who could have done it!

Before they could figure out what was going on, a scream suddenly rang out from another house, belonging to another daughter.

Upon entering another room, Roger and his wife were greeted by their fourth daughter, Christine, who looked terrified, and their second daughter, Nancy, who looked completely bewildered.

"What happened?"

“Someone’s here! Someone’s come in. It’s grabbing my foot and threatening us.”

"You saw it?"

“It looked terrifying, and it said it would kill our whole family.”

Roger and his wife exchanged bewildered glances; for now, they could only continue comforting their daughter.

There's only so much space, yet everyone's gathered on the second floor. If the person who came in really exists, there's no reason they shouldn't have seen them.

Keep in mind that they pushed open the door to the fourth daughter Christine's room, and the second daughter Nancy, who was in the same room, said she didn't see anything.

Perhaps, that was just Christine's nightmare.

But how do we explain the railings in the corridor?
Could it be that it has been in disrepair for many years? But the marks are clearly from an impact, not from a loose structure that collapsed.

Father Roger and mother Caroline couldn't understand it either.

But soon, their worldview was subjected to a new shock!
Do!
The spear tip pierced the wall as easily as tearing through thin paper, piercing through Basshiba's knee, and she let out a sharp, shrill scream.

The terrifying sound waves made people's eardrums ache.

An ugly woman dressed in white with black hair suddenly appeared in the room, but disappeared in the blink of an eye.

But the half-meter-long white bone spear was stuck to the wall.

Roger's family watched in horror as this supernatural event unfolded.

A female evil spirit? A bird-man monster?

What on earth happened?!
With its wings flapping wildly, Baling increased its speed, and its hawk-like talons reached for Basshiba's skull.

He wanted to just lift her skull open.

The crow-headed, human-bodied body swept past rapidly, leaving a trail of afterimages in the air. Baling pounced forward, its sharp claws carving out five holes in the wall, which was as soft as tofu.

However, Basshiba moved to another location, causing Baling's attack to fail.

In this haunted house, she moved freely, passing through walls and ceilings at will.

Baling pursued relentlessly, but Bashiba adopted a guerrilla tactic, avoiding direct combat.

He chased, she fled, and he couldn't catch her even if he had wings!
"Mom! Dad!"

The screams of their daughters rose and fell, and Roger and his wife were also frightened, but could only do their best to protect their family behind them.

After a few minutes of pursuit, the scattered debris hindered Baling's movements.

After all, it was his own property, and Baling wanted to cherish it, so he was quite hesitant and timid.

After all that commotion, he broke out of the window, planning to deal with Basshiba later.

"Damn evil spirit! You destroyed my house, just you wait! Within a few days, I'll cut down all your crooked trees!"

Baling was furious, but he had no choice but to leave.

The poor Roger family endured a difficult night.

Exorcising evil spirits is essential!

This was the only strong thought in their minds.
