American Horror Story: A Tale of Terror from Silent Hill
Chapter 126 Old House
Chapter 126 Old House
The darkness could not obscure the vision of Ravenstan. After flying an unknown distance, it finally found a satisfactory place.
Rhode Island, a century-old house.
Roger bought this old house from a bank auction, and today, his family of seven officially moved into their new home.
Tonight, the girls who just moved into their new home excitedly played hide-and-seek.
During a game of hide-and-seek, the second daughter, Nancy, accidentally broke down the door leading to the basement, and the family discovered the hidden basement.
What Roger and his family didn't know was that they had struck it lucky and picked a house that was already occupied.
After moving in, they will face the harassment of certain evil spirits, until they are all driven out.
Of course, it's also possible that the whole family died in this house.
If there's a risk of death if you go in, then if you just stay outside and relax, will you be safe?
A dog named Sadie, a member of the family, is intelligent and doesn't want to enter the house.
So it died outside.
A crow, circling high in the sky, with its dark eyes, surveyed the situation outside the house.
It saw it.
A woman dressed in a white dress, with disheveled hair, picked up the dog with her bare hands, and with a snap, the dog died.
It died from a broken neck and fractured cervical vertebrae.
Obviously, you'll die if you don't go in.
Those who went in were all people who tried to seize her land and had already crossed her path to death, while the dogs outside were just there to make an example of them.
The woman in white is named Basshiba, and she is the owner of the house.
A hundred years ago, she hanged herself on a crooked tree by the dock. She was also a relative of a witch who believed in Satan.
Before she died, she cursed everyone who tried to take her land.
According to records, those who live in this house will encounter misfortune.
In one case, a mother and son, Rory, went missing in the forest, while the mother, Walker, hanged herself in the basement.
Later, a little boy drowned in the pond, and a servant committed suicide for no apparent reason.
Although that is all in the past, the spirits of the dead still linger around the house, their vengeful spirits never leaving.
……
"Hmm, it's an evil aura. You found it, well done, Rastan."
Baling had already reverted to synchronized vision and was packing up his tools, preparing to return to the house. At that moment, a message came from Yastan on the other side, causing Baling to pause for a moment before issuing new orders.
—Go find materials, continue to observe, and wait for his arrival.
A strange light flashed in Ravenstan's eyes as he flew away from Rhodes Island. With a cackle, he flew off to another place, to a field that had just been harvested.
The next day.
Spring is in full bloom.
The dog's death was discovered by the youngest daughter, April. She screamed, attracting her parents' attention, but the dog was too dead to be brought back to life, so they simply dug a grave and buried it on the spot.
Meanwhile, unnoticed by anyone, on the branches of an old tree, a crow was carefully shaping the collected straw with its beak.
They worked until noon before a scarecrow the size of a doll finally took shape.
Suddenly, the dark pupils of the ravens flashed red, and it opened its mouth, tilted its neck back, and made a series of unpleasant cawing noises.
Large swaths of black feathers fell, covering the scarecrow.
呲!
The crow feathers spontaneously combusted without fire, producing clusters of flames that gradually burned away completely.
Ashes seeped into the scarecrow's crevices, and the scarecrow's body trembled slightly until it suddenly sat up.
The pale yellow pupils were tinged with a golden hue, making them look even more lively.
"It's been so long... since I've felt my body so fragile."
Baling, remotely connected to the game, moved the body that Yastan had woven for him. Although it wasn't very functional, it was already quite good for the task at hand. "Caw caw!"
Baling rubbed the head of the crow a few times as encouragement. After walking five or six steps among the branches, Baling reached the edge of the canopy and gazed at the old houses in the distance.
Is this his new house?
Just by looking at its size, you can tell it's a large house that can accommodate seven or eight people.
Baling turned around and waved, and the crow, whose feathers had grown back, ran over like a chick.
Yastan lowered his head and crouched down, while Baling moved to the side and flipped onto the flying crow.
quack!
Amidst the cawing of crows, Ravenstan flapped its wings, carried Baling on its back, and flew straight to the old house.
Before it could even reach the rooftop, a female ghost in white rose up outside the house and blocked its path in mid-air.
With an ugly, grotesque face and disheveled black hair, she looked over warily, and there was a lingering stench of decay emanating from her.
"leave here!"
Basshiba hissed angrily, but his eyes were still filled with intense fear.
As a follower of Satan, Basshiba did not go to hell after his death but remained on earth, where he still experienced the presence of demons.
She could smell it on Baling, even if it was very faint.
Therefore, Basshiba did not take immediate action, but tried to persuade him with reason, although his attitude was not very friendly.
"Can't you speak properly? This isn't your home."
Baling covered his nose and frowned.
A smell of rotten meat wafted through the air.
Jimei isn't very hygienic; the smell was a bit too strong and it bothered him.
"Get out of here! This is my home, all this land is mine! It's all mine!"
Basshiba roared excitedly, his expression becoming increasingly agitated.
"From a legal standpoint, this land and house no longer belong to you. Do you understand?"
Baling reasoned with her and pointed out her mistakes in a very polite manner.
"Mine! This is mine! No one can take it away, and no one is allowed to touch it!" Basshiba roared, his eyes contorted with rage, as if his sore spot had been touched.
"Speak properly, don't just breathe on me like that." Baling gripped his feathers tightly, and Ravenstan suddenly accelerated, dodging Basshiba's sudden claw strike.
Now that we've started, we have no choice but to get to work!
Riding a raven, Baling pulled a bone spear from the slowly pointed head of the Ravenstan and engaged Basshiba in battle.
Go!
The state of harmony between humans and crows allows Baling to always come up with unexpected solutions.
The spear thrust was powerful, and the thrust was accurate.
Just wait and see if I prick you or not, then you're done.
After more than ten rounds, Basshiba's body was riddled with seven or eight holes, from which black blood oozing out and emitting a foul stench.
Baling seemed to be handling things with ease, but the crow he was riding was bald, with most of its feathers plucked out, looking quite pitiful.
This round resulted in losses for both sides.
After the attempt to expel him failed, Basshiba shouted angrily and hid back in the house, which could be considered a temporary acquiescence to Baling's stay.
"That's it, that's it!"
Baling chuckled and stroked Yastan, after which both the human and the raven underwent simultaneous mutations.
