Chapter 128 Backtracking
"Let's look at the three stages of demonic activity—appearance, harassment, and possession."

At a university, Ed Warren and his wife Rowling are giving a presentation about their exorcism experiences and theories.

In the audience, Caroline listened attentively to the speech, becoming increasingly uneasy as she listened, feeling that everything he said was absolutely correct.

As soon as the speech ended, Caroline hurriedly sought out the Warrens, hoping they could come to her home to help with an exorcism.

“This is a very evil thing, but we have a way to find it and then exorcise it.”

"Really? That would be great."

But what the Rogers said next made the Warrens frown.

I witnessed a snow-white female ghost, and an unidentified birdman broke in. There was even a battle between the birdman and the female ghost, from the ceiling to the floor, which destroyed all the furniture in the house.

Such sights seem too rare; it's reasonable to occasionally witness the true nature of evil. When people are down on their luck, or when demons actively cast illusions, they can glimpse the true face of evil.

But it's outrageous that the whole family could see it, that the process lasted for several minutes, and that they could accurately describe the details.

What exactly did Roger's family see?
A hole punched in the wall, a chandelier that has fallen to the floor, a house cluttered with miscellaneous items, scratches on the ceiling...

Numerous signs of a fight were displayed before the Warrens.

His wife, Rowling, closed her eyes and activated her psychic abilities to sense the remaining traces from the past.

After closing her eyes, about ten seconds later, the darkness in Rowling's eyes faded, and some blurry images appeared before her.

The white-clad witch, Basshiba, with a ferocious expression, leaped and thrashed about, roaring maniacally as she manipulated objects in the room, such as vases, photo albums, and stools, hurling them at another flying figure.

The dwarf bird-man with a crow's head, human body, and small wings flew nimbly, wielding a white bone spear. He charged left and right, blocking and parrying, creating a sky full of spear shadows, knocking down the attacking objects one by one.

What is this? I've never seen this kind of plant before.

Are they fighting amongst themselves? And why is that?

Rowling stared in shock at the passing phantoms, the sounds of fierce howling and collisions ringing in her ears.

Throughout her exorcism career, Rowling has encountered many evil spirits and demons, but rarely have they engaged in a public fight.

While observing and thinking, Rowling suddenly met a pair of bright golden eyes; it was the birdman surveying the enemy's tracks.

But with just that one glance, Rowling felt a chill run down her spine, as if she were being watched by a terrifying demon.

"Who dares to spy on me!"

The sudden sound made Rowling's heart skip a beat, and in an instant, her hair stood on end. A chilling sensation shot from the last vertebra of her coccyx straight to her brain.

She's been discovered!
How could this be? It's clearly just a trace of the past! "Hehehe! I've seen you."

The space suddenly froze, the surrounding illusions stopped, and Rowling suddenly saw her reflection in golden eyes.

He watched his battle with the witch Basshiba like a bystander.

At that moment, in the gray scene, a mosaic suddenly appeared in the empty space.

"Who! Dares to spy on me!" Baling's face was displeased as he tried his best to focus his attention, wanting to lift the blurry veil.

However, his psychic abilities were only passable.

It took a little time.

Gradually, the mosaic became clearer, revealing the contents inside.

It was her.

Someone who shouldn't be here has appeared: a woman who has taken the liberty of spying.
