Chapter 1034: Only two people away from the TTG assembly (laughs)

Seeing Garfield's insistence, Mary hesitated for a long time before finally agreeing, but on the condition that she agree to three conditions.

First, Garfield must not use his power for evil purposes after he gains it.

Secondly, even after gaining the power, Garfield cannot give up his normal life; he must pass the university entrance exam that the two of them had agreed upon.

Third, Garfield must join the Justice League.

These three conditions seem simple, but each one actually reflects Mary's thoughts.

The first point is very simple: after Garfield gains superhuman powers, he must not use them to commit crimes or harm ordinary people; he must always be a good person.

Then the second point is to prevent Garfield from losing himself, to keep him on a normal life track, and not to become someone else.

The third and final point is to ensure Garfield's safety. A large-scale operation is always much safer than a solo operation, right?

"Garfield, your hair..."

“But wasn’t it supposed to be the power of ‘red’?” Garfield was on the verge of tears. “But how did I turn green now?”

If Yang Le remembers correctly, it seems that all of Beast Boy's body tissues except for his skeleton turn green. The reason they don't turn red is because Beast Boy was created a long time ago, and it seems that the concept of 'color' didn't exist back then.

However, Yang Le remembered that Beast Boy did turn red for a period of time, but it was later changed back to green. The comics didn't seem to explain why, but Yang Le guessed that it was largely due to readers' disapproval.

"Um, 'red' is just a name, not the color that your power manifests."

This can only be described as a historical issue left over from the comics. Yang Le didn't know how to explain it either, since the Limb Council under the Red of All Beings was also composed of a group of guys with red elements.

Garfield also became serious for once, took a deep breath, and slowly closed his eyes.

A few seconds later, Garfield's body suddenly began to melt like putty, and to Mary's horrified gaze, Garfield's small body was gradually stretched and widened.

Its smooth skin was covered with a layer of light green fur with dark green patterns, and two sharp claws as sharp as steel knives extended from its hands. It was the same fierce tiger that Yang Le had transformed into when he first appeared to save the mother and son.

Garfield first looked at his own hands, then looked at Yang Le and saw his own reflection in the latter's eyes.
