Chapter 1033 Beast Boy
In the DC Universe, 'color' is an extremely important concept.

Beyond the colorful spectrum of emotions used by the light clusters, 'color' in the DC Universe also represents the power of elements.

The most common 'colors' are the Green and the Red, and there is also the Black, which appears in a major event.

The Green of All Things connects all plant life in the DC Universe, including flowers, grasses, and trees. Green gives all plants vitality and life, and the representatives of this power are Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing.

The red of all beings connects all animals, birds and beasts. Red also gives power to some people and animals, such as Animal Hero, Batman, and Beast Boy.

That's right, Garfield is one of the agents chosen by the Red, and he is also the strongest of all the Red agents. Garfield can not only transform into animals, but once he masters his power, he can even transform into an alien.

Kryptonians, Martians, or even a new set of gods are not impossible.

Simply put, Beast Boy is a humanoid Omnitrix, but he can only transform into flesh-and-blood creatures. He cannot transform into mechanical life forms like Shapeshifters or energy life forms like Nuclear Steel.

Yang Le didn't know why the Red of All Beings chose Garfield, but he knew that in the DC Universe, choosing you was basically a forced sale.

Obtaining the power of the Crimson of All Beings is indeed impressive, but the principle of "with great power comes great responsibility" applies to everyone in American comics. Once you gain power, trouble will come knocking on your door.

Can Yang Le banish the power of the Red All Beings from Garfield? To be honest, he might not have been able to do it before without using the power of Superman X, but since getting involved with the Dream World, he feels he can give it a try.

Therefore, Yang Le briefly explained what had happened to Mary. He couldn't make the decision on his own and needed to consult Garfield's parents.

“This…” Mary was stunned. She was just an ordinary person, but now someone suddenly told her that her child had been chosen by a mysterious force in the universe and would become a superhero like Superman in the future.

This confused Mary. On the one hand, she was frightened by the mysterious power Yang Le mentioned and didn't know if she could refuse. On the other hand, she didn't want her child to get involved in anything dangerous.

However, in Yang Le's opinion, although Beast Boy has considerable popularity in DC Comics, he is not an indispensable part of the Justice League.

If possible, Yang Le still felt that it was better to have as few children involved in danger as possible; this was an idea that came to him after adopting Cassandra.

If Cassandra hadn't become unable to integrate into normal life under Cain's tutelage, Yang Le would never have let her get involved in anything related to superheroes and supervillains.

The current Garfield is different from Cassandra; the former hasn't turned into a beast boy yet, so he still has room to maneuver.

Reality is not like a comic book, and Yang Le's world is not the main DC universe. Anyone here could die, and the chances of being resurrected are extremely slim.

“I don’t know…” Mary hugged herself as if seeking a sense of security. She glanced at Garfield lying on the bed, then looked at Yang Le with slightly red eyes and said.

"Honestly, I don't want Garfield to get involved in any danger, especially since he almost left me before..."

“Just think of yourself and Garfield, madam,” Yang Le interrupted Mary. “I know you’re afraid of things beyond your imagination, but I can assure you that no matter what choice you make, no one can hurt you or Garfield.”

Yang Le's words were like a warm current, instantly flowing through Mary's entire body. It made her feel as if she were transported back to her youth, to the time when the man who had promised her a lifetime of love had also said the same thing—that he would protect her. "Madam?"

Yang Le waited for a while but didn't get a reply from Mary, so he spoke again, which brought the dazed Mary back to her senses.

"Ah? Oh oh oh!" Mary's cheeks flushed slightly, and she tossed her hair, not daring to look into Yang Le's eyes. Only now did she have the chance to properly examine Yang Le's true appearance. Before, the latter had always looked like a strange alien, but she never expected that his true form would be so tall and handsome.

Mary hesitated for a moment before finally mustering the courage to speak.

"Wait a minute, Mom..."

The slightly weak boyish voice attracted the attention of the two people in the room, who then realized that Garfield, who was lying on the bed, had woken up at some point.

"Garfield!" The moment Mary saw her son regain consciousness, all her thoughts cleared away, and she practically pounced on Garfield's bedside.

"How are you feeling now? Is anything bothering you? Tell Mom if you're hungry?"

Mary's questions came out in rapid succession, and the weak Garfield was relieved to see his mother so energetic.

“Let’s not talk about these mothers for now.” Garfield pressed Mary down. “I also have my own thoughts on the topic you and Mr. Yang were discussing earlier.”

A bad feeling suddenly welled up in Mary's heart, but she still spoke in a trembling voice.

"Go ahead, Mom is listening."

“I want to accept the power Mr. Yang mentioned.” Garfield tightened his grip on Mary’s shoulder slightly. “When those missiles were falling, I was thinking, without power, are we really just like weeds in this world?”

Garfield's question was so pessimistic that Mary didn't know how to answer it for a moment.

“It’s possible that some people think that way, Garfield,” Yang Le took over the question. “Like Biarriya, the leader of that country is clearly the kind of person who would take lives at will for his own benefit.”

"But that's not right. There is evil and there is justice in this world. The Justice League is formed to defeat these people. Power should never exist to bully the weak."

These profound principles were too difficult for Garfield to understand, but Yang Le's words did remind him of the superheroes he admired.

“Then I should accept that power even more.” Garfield’s eyes were resolute. “I want to use that power to protect my mother and those like me.”

Yang Le didn't speak but looked at Mary instead. Garfield was still too young, and in such important matters, they couldn't completely listen to him; they still needed to ask his mother Mary's opinion.
