Mystery: Who has seen my brother?

Chapter 226 Abnormal Admisol

Chapter 226 Abnormal Admisol
Klein was very busy all Sunday, or rather, every day was busy. Between church work and the detective agency, even with Eve sharing some of the work at the detective agency, Klein still felt that he wasn't enough on his own.

He had to go to the Extraordinary Gathering to get magical items in the evening, and the money he had saved with great difficulty was gone in an instant. Now, just not getting into debt again was enough to make him happy.

When he got home, Medici and Eve were already at the dining table.

Medici was wearing a pure black windbreaker. His gloomy face made him look handsome. He looked relaxed and seemed to have made a good harvest.

Compared to him, Klein seemed listless. Lack of sleep for several consecutive days made him look a little tired.

So, even though his wallet had just been shrunk, Klein didn't choose the Lucky Pirate to replenish his coffers. After dinner, he returned to his bedroom to rest, resting up for the return trip to Tingen and getting up early to catch the train tomorrow.

……

Woo! Woo! Woo!
The black iron behemoth whistled, and the rails rubbed against the wheels, making a series of noises as it ran. It began to slow down, slower and slower, and finally stopped at the station.

The carriage, which was not quiet to begin with, was now as noisy as if hot oil had been dropped into boiling water. Gentlemen and ladies took down their luggage from above, crowded together, and were taken off the train by the crowd. Pickpockets mixed in with the crowd, looking around and quietly reaching out their hands.

Klein stood up, picked up his cane, and struck the pickpocket's hand holding the wallet hard. With a "snap", the leather wallet instantly fell to the ground.

"Hey! There's a thief here!" The victim turned his head and reacted immediately, shouting, without even picking up the wallet, and punched him in the face.

Klein hadn't expected such a respectable gentleman to be so wild. The already noisy carriage became even more chaotic. The two men wrestled with each other, bumping into many bystanders. Several gentlemen joined the fray. The conductor's voice came from the door, shouting against the current inside the carriage.

Tucked his cane under his arm, Klein leaned sideways and followed the flow of people out of the carriage. He didn't have much luggage with him, so it was much easier for him to move than the others.

When the train attendant arrived, the commotion in the carriage had already subsided and it was unknown when the police would arrive.

Klein straightened his clothes, which had been messed up by the crowd, took his cane, left the station, and took a bus to Blackthorn Security Company.

The train station wasn't far from the Blackthorn Security Company. It only took Klein a dozen minutes to reach the company's gate.

He reached out and pushed open the door, and a familiar sweet female voice suddenly came into his ears.

"Oh! Klein! You're finally back!"

That was Luo Shan's voice. She seemed very excited and her voice was very loud, which immediately attracted the attention of others.

Luo Shan immediately ran over, grabbed Klein's arm, and forcefully dragged him towards the captain's office. "Hurry, come with me to see the captain."

Klein's eyes were filled with confusion. Roshan's excitement obviously didn't come from his return. It seemed that Tingen had problems again, and it was related to him.

Cornley put down the newspaper and looked at Roshan who was pulling Klein. He didn't stop her and said, "Go see the captain first."

"Click-"

The sound of the doorknob turning was inconspicuous in the noisy room, but the person who emerged from the room commanded respect from everyone present. Clearly, a wooden door was having trouble blocking the transmission of Roxanne's voice.

Dunn leaned half of his body out of the room. He looked at Roxanne pulling Klein's hand and frowned.

The girl instantly withdrew her hand silently, like a little mouse under the claws of a cat. She hesitated for a moment, then quietly reached out again, trying to smooth out the wrinkles on Klein's sleeve that she had pulled.

Klein was instantly at a loss for words, but he didn't withdraw his arm to avoid embarrassing the girl. Pretending not to notice, he handed the gift to Roxanne, asking her to help distribute it, and then walked towards the captain.

Perhaps she hadn't expected Klein to bring a gift, so happiness immediately crossed the girl's face. Then, as if she was thinking about what had just happened, her expression changed, becoming unusually serious, as if she had taken on the responsibility of deciding the fate of the world. She promised Klein that she would complete the task perfectly, and even stood there watching Klein enter Dunn's office.

"Captain?" Klein asked as he sat in the soft chair across from Dunn. Although he didn't ask directly, his questioning tone conveyed his thoughts to Dunn.

"Ademisol came to Blackthorn Security Company last night." Dunn clasped his hands together and placed them on the desk. He explained, "He seemed to be crazy and kept shouting your name."

Klein was stunned for a moment, then said thoughtfully, "Is it out of control?"

Admisol was originally "half a monster" and had been seeing things he shouldn't have seen for a long time. His mental state was much worse than that of a normal extraordinary person.

"Probably not," Dunn shook his head, refuting Klein's speculation. "We examined him, and he showed no signs of being out of control. The divination results also showed he was normal."

"And..." Dunn paused, took a deep breath, and slowly exhaled. He said, "It was Cornley who was on duty last night, but he was completely unaware of Admisol's presence. If he hadn't suddenly rushed out, Cornley might not have been able to detect Admisol's presence at all."

"No one knew he had managed to infiltrate Blackthorn Security Company completely undetected by Cornley. Communication was impossible, and divination yielded no answers. Furthermore, he appeared near Chanis Gate."

"For safety reasons, we have temporarily detained Ademisol and he is currently under the guard of Xijia."

Klein immediately understood the seriousness of the matter. Under the circumstances at the time, if he wanted to, he would have had the opportunity to steal the seal behind the Chanis Gate. This was simply not something Admisol could do!

"Maybe I can try to communicate with Admisol." Klein tapped the tabletop lightly, his fingers barely making any sound. He said seriously, "He keeps calling my name. Maybe he wants to tell me something."

Dunn nodded and said, "That's what we were thinking. You should contact him first and see if you can get any useful information out of him."

"If you find anything unusual, stop contact immediately," Dunn added, "Siga and I will be guarding the door."

"clear."

Klein nodded and, led by Dunn, arrived at the room where Admitsol was imprisoned.

In front of the wooden door, the guard Xijia nodded to Klein with a serious expression and opened the door for him.
