Chapter 5 Letters from Hogwarts

Atop the vast Scottish Highlands stands the mysterious and ancient Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

This school with a thousand-year history is like a silent witness, witnessing the ups and downs of the wizarding world in Britain and even the whole of Europe.

Today's headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is a recipient of the Order of Merlin, First Class, the founder and secret keeper of the Order of the Phoenix.

He is also the President of the International Confederation of Magicians and Chief Wizard of the Wizengamot.

He has profound attainments in alchemy and transfiguration, reaching a level that ordinary people can hardly reach.

In the vast field of magic theory research, he also made significant and extraordinary contributions with his wisdom and hard work.

However, if we talk about his most brilliant and outstanding achievements, it is undoubtedly the defeat of two terrifying Dark Lords - Gellert Grindelwald and Voldemort.

Because of this, he is undisputedly recognized by the entire magical world as the greatest and most powerful wizard of our time.

However, at this moment, the old man, who is nearly 110 years old, was accepting the scolding obediently like a child who had accidentally done something wrong.

"Is your head full of honey, Dumbledore?"

"That would be wonderful, Severus."

"Call me Professor Snape!"

"Okay, Snape."

Dumbledore smiled and handed Snape a piece of attractive lemon Sherbet candy, saying kindly:
"Would you like to try a piece? This is carefully made by Muggles and tastes quite good."

In response, he was met with Snape's murderous gaze.

Dumbledore reluctantly took the candy back, muttering softly, "What a pity."

"Severus, why are you so adamantly opposed to Mr. Irving coming to teach at Hogwarts? You took very good care of him back then."

"Don't say you don't know what he did after graduation."

"Of course I know that Mr. Irving is a wizard full of fearless and adventurous spirit..."

"He frequently deals with those evil dark wizards, and breaking the law is as common to him as drinking water."

"But we don't have any concrete evidence to prove all this..."

"This just shows how cunning he is. He is exactly like that guy."

Dumbledore looked at Snape earnestly and seriously.

"You worry too much."

Snape pursed his lips tightly and said nothing.

"It seems like neither of us can successfully convince the other. How about I invite Mr. Erwin over so we can ask him face to face."

Dumbledore moved quickly, writing a letter with a delicate quill in hand.

"I want to supervise the whole process."

"no problem."

Dumbledore then handed the envelope to an owl and gently opened the window.

The owl held the envelope steadily in its beak, spread its wings and flew away, disappearing into the distant sky.

Weiss was studying a paper with full concentration and focus.

It was a paper that Professor Minerva McGonagall had recently published, which provided an in-depth analysis of Transfiguration.

You know, as one of the few registered Animagus in the wizarding world, Professor Minerva McGonagall is undoubtedly a well-deserved master of Transfiguration.

At this moment, Wes was completely immersed in this paper, as if he was trapped in a magical world of magic and couldn't extricate himself.

So much so that he didn't even hear the banging sounds coming from the windows.

Finally, it was Jandi who hurriedly opened the window and carefully let the owl in.

The owl that had just come in flapped its wings angrily and kept hooting to express its strong dissatisfaction.

"Oh, keep your voice down, little thing. It would be bad if you disturb the master."

Zhan Di pulled out a handful of premium pet rations.

As soon as the owl smelled the tempting aroma, it couldn't wait to go over and taste it.

After it had eaten and drunk its fill, it rubbed against Jandi affectionately, then dropped the envelope, flapped its wings and flew away.

Zhan Di hurriedly picked up the envelope, looked at the signature carefully, and immediately handed it to Weiss respectfully.

"Master, it's a letter from Hogwarts." Weiss, who was originally very dissatisfied with being disturbed, his eyes lit up instantly when he heard that it was a letter from Hogwarts. He immediately dropped the paper in his hand without hesitation and quickly opened the envelope.

"Mr. Wes Irwin
We are very pleased that you have applied for the position of Professor Magic Pattern again. After careful consideration, we invite you to the principal's office for an interview at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.

I wish you all the best

Albus Dumbledore"

"Oh! That's great!" Weiss was so excited that he danced with joy, his face filled with uncontrollable joy. "It's been three years, and finally there's a reply."

"Congratulations, Master."

As a very competent house elf, Jandi gave his master his heartfelt blessings.

"We have to make sure everything is foolproof."

Weiss's eyes were determined; he was determined to win this time.

At eight o'clock the next day, Wes stood in front of the mirror early and looked at himself carefully.

What appeared in the mirror was a young man with clean-cut features and high spirits. His hair was combed meticulously, and it was delicate and smooth.

The well-tailored robe perfectly sets off his tall and slender figure, and his handsome face makes him look even more charming.

"How is it?" Weiss asked expectantly.

"Perfect, my Lord!"

Weiss couldn't help but smile, then picked up the suitcase beside him.

"Just wait here."

"Yes, Master."

When Weiss arrived at Hogwarts at 9:, he was greeted by Professor McGonagall.

West was a little flattered and bowed deeply. "Long time no see, Professor McGonagall."

"Mr. Irving, you have grown into an outstanding young man." Professor McGonagall praised gently with a smile on her face. "I never thought that one day you and I would become colleagues."

"Ultimately, it depends on what Headmaster Dumbledore thinks." Weiss looked a little embarrassed.

"You are a smart child who excelled at school. If Albus were still sane, he would have accepted your job application."

"I hope everything is as you said."

Mr. Erwin

"Please call me Weiss, Professor McGonagall."

"Okay, Wes. How does it feel to be back in school?"

Weiss's face showed a trace of emotion. "It feels both familiar and strange. When I was a student, I didn't really explore this mysterious castle. I was immersed in the library books and studying magic all day long."

"Yes, that is very impressive," Professor McGonagall said slowly. "There has never been a student as eager to learn as you. Even if you are from Ravenclaw, this is too much."

Weiss touched his nose a little embarrassedly.

"We professors were 'harassed' by you quite a bit back then."

Although she said this, in fact, Professor McGonagall has always been very caring towards studious students like Weiss, and has often given Weiss special tutoring in private.

The same was true for other professors. Even the usually strict Professor Snape looked at Weiss differently.

"By the way, does Filius know about this?"

"Not yet. I want to tell him after everything is finalized."

While the two were talking, they had unknowingly arrived at the 8th floor.

The hideous, gigantic stone beast guarding the principal's office suddenly spoke: "Command!"

"Toffee," Professor McGonagall replied calmly.

The stone beast obediently gave way.

Behind the stone beast is a slowly rotating automatic revolving staircase, and at the top of the staircase is the door to the principal's office.

It was a door made of shiny oak, with a unique brass knocker in the shape of a griffin.

As the two people got closer, the door slowly opened automatically.

Looking at the open door, Weiss felt a little nervous.
