Chapter 46: Bodhisattva is upset again, Zhuang Yan seeks the Heavenly Evil Sword
The sun was shining brightly on Danchi Ridge and the autumn breeze was cool. Although the two brothers Hu Lailai and Hu Ququ were more than a dozen years older, they still looked like children.

The two brothers were seen fighting and chasing each other in the peach forest of Fire Spirit Immortal.

Hu Xianfeng and his wife Lan'er sat together and taught Chi Ling how to speak and write. Although Hu Xianfeng and his wife were also mountain spirits, they often went down the mountain to deal with humans, so they were able to read and write.

Moreover, humans are the most senior among all living creatures. Hu Xianfeng and his wife often see human children learning to read and write at the foot of the mountain, and they naturally admire the culture.

Therefore, after Hu Xianfeng and his wife had children, every time they went down the mountain, they would ask mortal teachers to teach them to read and write, so that they could educate their own children in the future.

As for the Fire Spirit Immortal
I saw two beams of fairy light flying in the sky and landing directly outside the Eight Immortals Pavilion.

"Please come in, fellow Taoist. The mountain king is in the pavilion." Fire Spirit Immortal said with a smile.

The Peacock King nodded, and then entered the Eight Immortals Pavilion with the Fire Spirit Immortal.

Zhuang Yan was not the only one in the Eight Immortals Pavilion, there was another immortal sitting there. The Peacock King recognized him at a glance and he was Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Great Demon-Subduing Immortals of the Human World.

The Peacock King calmly withdrew his gaze, then stepped forward and bowed, saying, "Little Fairy Golden Peacock, I pay my respects to the Mountain King."

Zhuang Yan nodded, then smiled and said to Peacock King and Fire Spirit Immortal, "Sit down."

The two of them thanked him and sat down. Zhuang Yan pointed at the Peacock King and said to Lan Caihe, "Master Lan, this is the Golden Bird Fairy. She has just come to Lingtai Mountain to practice."

Then Zhuang Yan said to the Peacock King: "Fellow Daoist Golden Peacock, this is Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Immortals of the Upper Cave."

The Peacock King quickly saluted Lan Caihe, who just smiled and nodded.

The Peacock King saw a teapot and peaches on the table in front of him. The tea was spiritual tea, and the peaches were ordinary wild peaches.

She raised her head, bowed to Zhuang Yan and said, "Shan Jun, the precious sword you ordered will probably take two or three days to arrive."

Zhuang Yan waved his hand and smiled, "It's okay. I asked you to come here to tell you something. You don't have to prepare a precious sword. I have already picked one."

"Oh?" Peacock King asked curiously, "May I ask what precious sword the mountain king has taken a fancy to?"

Zhuang Yan smiled and said, "Heavenly Sin Sword."

"Oh, it's Tiannie? The Tiannie Sword?!" The Peacock King was startled, but recovered as usual in an instant. However, he was extremely surprised in his heart. How did the Lingtai Mountain God know the existence of the Tiannie Sword?
Although the Tian Nie Sword has been around for a thousand years, it has always been sealed in the treasure house of the Ashura Tribe. The Ashura Tribe's territory is in the Lingshan Scenic Area and rarely communicates with the outside world.

Therefore, apart from the Buddhist gods and immortals in the Lingshan Scenic Area, few outsiders know about the existence of the Tiannie Sword.

"What?" Zhuang Yan looked at the Peacock King and asked, "Does the fairy know about this sword?"

The Peacock King smiled faintly and nodded, saying, "I know a little bit. I heard about it from a Buddhist friend before."

"But," said the Peacock King, "the Tianye Sword is a precious sword of the Asura Tribe. I'm afraid the Asura Tribe won't be so generous as to give this sword to the mountain king."

Zhuang Yan laughed, and Lan Caihe beside him also laughed. Seeing this, Peacock King was very puzzled and asked, "Mountain King, Master, what are you laughing at?"

Lan Caihe said, "Fellow Daoist Jinque, you don't know yet, do you? That evil sword is no longer in the treasure house of the Ashura Tribe."

"What?" Peacock King's pupils shrank, and he said in shock, "This is impossible? Who can steal a magical sword from the Asura Department's treasury in Lingshan Shengjing?"

Lan Caihe said: "No one can steal the Heavenly Evil Sword from the Ashura Tribe's treasury in Lingshan Shengjing, because the Heavenly Evil Sword was sent out by a traitor in the Ashura Tribe."

"The traitor sent it out." The Peacock King's expression became serious. "Who?"

Lan Caihe said, "The fifteenth prince of Asura, Jie Hanli." Upon hearing this, King Peacock's heart sank. Jie Hanli was indeed the person in charge of the Asura tribe's treasury. Lan Caihe could say it so clearly, could this be true?

But she, as the Bodhisattva in charge of the Asura department, was not aware of this, so how did Lan Caihe know?

"How did Master Lan know about this?" asked the Peacock King.

Lan Caihe said, "I just learned that the ninth prince of the Dragon King of the West Sea, 'Ao Kun', was killed by the Great Black Yaksha. The Dragon King of the West Sea personally led the soldiers of the Dragon Palace to fight against the Great Black Yaksha, but was defeated and fled. Now the Great Black Yaksha has occupied the Dragon Palace of the West Sea and called himself the Great Black Yaksha King."

"The reason why the Big Black Yaksha is so powerful is because he has a magic sword in his hand. This sword is very powerful and can increase the bad karma of the Big Black Yaksha to help improve his skills." Lan Caihe said.

Finally, Lan Caihe said, "The Dragon King of the West Sea was defeated and lost his Dragon Palace. He has now gone to heaven to meet the Jade Emperor and ask the Heavenly Court to send troops to destroy the Great Black Yaksha."

The Peacock King asked, "Then how do we know that the Heavenly Blade in the hand of the Black Yaksha was given by Jie Hanli?"

Lan Caihe smiled and said, "This brings us to the Peacock Bodhisattva."

"This..." The Peacock King looked slightly surprised and asked, "How do you mean?"

Lan Caihe said: "According to my understanding, the cause of the incident was that the Peacock King Bodhisattva sent her mount, 'Golden Peacock King Kong Ling', to the Ashura treasury to take the Heavenly Evil Sword and ten spiritual swords. But the prince in charge of the treasury, Jie Hanli, had already lent the Heavenly Evil Sword to the Great Black Yaksha, so he was unable to complete the task. Jie Hanli was afraid of being punished by the Buddhist sect and the Heavenly Court, and now he has taken his Asura tribe members and fled from the Lingshan Scenic Spot and rebelled to the human world."

After listening to Lan Caihe's story, the Peacock King understood everything in an instant, and his heart was burning with anger. It turned out that it was her mount's greed that caused the disaster.

At this time, Zhuang Yan said, "This Peacock King is really incompetent. He can't even control his own mount and subordinates. He caused such a big mess. How can he be called the Western Mother Buddha? He is just a name in vain."

Hearing this, the Peacock King immediately raised his head and looked at Zhuang Yan with an extremely sharp gaze.

“Isn’t it?” Lan Caihe said with a smile, “She got the title of Western Mother Buddha Bodhisattva by chance, and she didn’t get it by her own ability.”

"Oh?" Zhuang Yan's eyes lit up and he said, "Tell me more!"

Lan Caihe said: "The Peacock King was born from a phoenix. He was arrogant by nature and loved to eat human flesh. One day, when the Tathagata Buddha was traveling, the Peacock King actually sucked the Buddha's six-foot golden body into his stomach. The Buddha broke his stomach and came out, and then wanted to kill him. But he was dissuaded by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. First, they were afraid that killing the Peacock King would anger the phoenix. Second, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas said that the Tathagata Buddha was born from the Peacock King's stomach, so he was the son of the Peacock King. How could a son kill his mother? So the Tathagata Buddha had no choice but to listen to the advice of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, gave up the intention to kill, and named the Peacock the Western Mother Bodhisattva and the Protector of the World."

Zhuang Yan laughed and said, "Those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are a bit outrageous. They are actually blackmailing the Tathagata Buddha in this way. If it were me, I would definitely kill the peacock, braise it, stew it, grill it, and then share the meat with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Let's see how arrogant she can still be!"

At this point, Zhuang Yan turned his head and smiled at the Peacock King, "Fellow Daoist Golden Sparrow, do you think so? Eh? Fellow Daoist, why do you look so embarrassed? Are you feeling unwell?"

"I" The face of the Peacock King turned pale, and he gritted his teeth after saying just one word.

Immediately, Peacock King stood up and bowed to Zhuang Yan, saying, "Please forgive me, Mr. Mountain. Something went wrong when I was practicing yesterday. I feel a little uncomfortable, so I have to go back first."

Zhuang Yan's expression became serious when he heard this, and he said, "Something went wrong in your cultivation. This is not a small problem. Fellow Daoist, please go back and recover quickly."

The Peacock King bid farewell to Zhuang Yan, then his body flashed and turned into a ray of fairy light and disappeared.

Lan Caihe looked at the back of Peacock King and said, "This fellow Taoist is a little unusual."

Zhuang Yan smiled and said, "This fellow Daoist Jinque is indeed extraordinary in temperament and unparalleled in charm."

Lan Caihe shook his head and said, "More than that, I always feel that her temperament is somewhat familiar."

Zhuang Yan smiled faintly and immediately changed the subject, saying, "Master Lan, I'll have to trouble you to help me with the matter of going to the West Sea to subdue the demons."

Lan Caihe regained his composure, looked at Zhuang Yan and said with a smile: "Don't worry, Tiger Master. I'll take care of this matter."
