Fault Utopia

Chapter 2 Intelligence

Chapter 2 Intelligence
Sun Jie Ke finally understood why there were doors on the ceiling and the floor, and why the walls were made of metal.

Because that wasn't a door at all, it was a space capsule. It turned out that I had been walking sideways on the wall since I woke up!

Sun Jack, who was shocked for a long time, stretched his face over and carefully identified it by pressing it against the glass. Although it was gray, he was very sure that this planet was the Earth.

However, the situation was a little different from before. The blue planet was completely covered by a mass of gray metal garbage, as if covered by a layer of gray gauze.

Those metal junk are all satellites, and densely packed and various types of satellite junk surround the entire planet.

There are some Sun Jacks whose outlines can be barely discerned with the naked eye here, which is enough to show how big those satellites are.

"Why are there so many satellites? What year is this?" Sun Jack was very sure that with the technology of the era in his memory, he was absolutely incapable of doing such a thing. Even if he took into account the five years of memory he had lost, it would be impossible.

When Sun Jack's eyes moved away from the earth and looked to the left, he was instantly frozen. A silver-gray planetary ring was wrapped around the earth's waist like a belt. The moon that should have existed disappeared.

Most of the planetary rings are made up of rocks, spacecraft and space station wreckage, and he is currently in the middle of it.

At this moment, Sun Jack finally figured out the question that had been bothering him since he woke up: where exactly he was. He was in a large space station surrounded by the moon's planetary rings.

But then the second question came up: how should I get back?
The space station is in space, and it looks half-dead. It is undoubtedly more difficult to return to the earth from the sky than to climb to the sky.

However, Sun Jack does not need to solve this problem, because the cruel reality has already solved it for him.

The tremor of the entire space station was increasing, and the screen behind him was constantly flickering, and even felt a little hot to the touch. Sun Jack was shocked to find that his just action seemed to have disrupted the gray-electric balance that had been maintained in this place for a long time.

Along with these movements, Sun Jack saw the terrible changes outside the glass. The gyroscope-like space station under him was slowly pulling out from the planetary rings and tilting towards the Earth's atmosphere.

A chill instantly ran down his spine and into his brain. "Fuck! We're going to fall back! I want to go back, but not this way!"

"Do something! I must do something!" With cold sweat beginning to appear on his forehead, Sun Jack quickly came to the flashing screen. When he found that no matter what he did, there was no response, he put his hands on the glass, swam out of this place quickly, and floated towards other rooms.

Perhaps Sun Jack had just activated something, and some closed hatches could be opened. Sun Jack, who was anxiously sweating, kept looking for the last ray of hope in various space capsules, no matter if it was an escape spacecraft or something, as long as he could survive.

"Hurry, hurry, hurry!" Sun Jack could already feel the increase of centrifugal force caused by the tumbling of the entire space capsule. He knew that he didn't have much time left.

The cargo hold, sports hold, and various cabins were all found one by one by Sun Jack.

With a "bang", the half-covered hatch was pushed open by Sun Jack, and rows of robots fixed to the walls, ceiling and ground appeared in front of him.

These robots are basically similar to humans, except that their feet are iron hooves with reverse joints and their eyes are a row of monitors.

He no longer had time to be amazed at the robots' technology. He just wanted to ask these robots if they knew where the escape spacecraft was.

Seeing them, Sun Jack seemed to have seen the last glimmer of hope. He quickly untied the restraints and began to look for the robot's switch.

After groping for a while, when Sun Jack's finger slid across a screen under the other party's armpit, the display that replaced the robot's eyes suddenly lit up, showing two simple simplified eye icons.

"Hello? Hello?! Can you hear me? Where is the escape ship? Where is the escape ship!!" Sun Jack grabbed the robot that was floating due to weightlessness and kept asking quickly. The robot responded immediately, "Kinesiska paketet nedladdning10%50%70%Chinese data package loaded," the voice was calm but mechanical.

"Dear user, welcome to use Tapai Technology products. Please customize the name of this product."

“Oh my god!! Are you kidding me!! Is this so troublesome?!”

"Name customization successful: Am I mistaken? Please select the initial mode." Three options appeared on the robot's display: Guard mode, Caregiver mode, and Entertainment mode.

Anxious Sun Jack quickly clicked on the guard mode, but then various other options popped up. He really didn't expect that the use of the new robot would require so many settings.

When the trembling of the space station began to cause some space capsule parts to fall off and float in the air, Sun Jack had finally completed the setup.

"Hello, Sun Jack, I'm sorry, I'm glad to serve you." Two smiling eyes appeared on the robot's display.

"Do you know this place? It's about to crash! Do you know where there's an escape pod or a spaceship?" Sun Jack asked urgently.

What was unexpected was that the robot actually responded. "User is in a level 1 red crisis, automatic alarm, full video and audio recording is on, emergency rescue is initiated. Ding~ Satellite positioning is unresponsive, networking failed, insufficient data, unable to rescue."

At this moment, a terrible metal creaking sound came from outside, as if the entire space station was about to be torn apart. The fear of death made Sun Jack's body tremble uncontrollably.

Just when he was about to give up on this useless robot and look for other solutions, the robot suddenly made new movements.

"Connecting to unknown subnet 12.128.C1, data collection completed, rescue plan failed, error reason: insufficient logical thinking ability, unable to understand subnet data logic, please agree to ROOT authorization, after agreeing, AI logic system iteration will be enabled based on subnet data, judgment: rescue probability will increase by 32.3%."

"Agree! Agree!" Although Sun Jie Ke didn't quite understand what the other party said, he still understood that the probability of rescue had increased.

"System iteration begins." A progress bar began to appear on the robot's display.

At this moment, the entire cabin suddenly broke apart, and a piece of metal plate stabbed towards the robot's head like a guillotine.

Sun Jack pulled his metal arm towards himself, but he forgot that he was in a state of weightlessness. When he pulled the robot over, under the effect of conservation of momentum, he came to the robot's position.

Seeing that the metal plate was about to pierce his head, Sun Jack kicked the robot hard, and the metal plate almost scraped Sun Jack's face.

Under this thrust, Sun Jack hit the wall before he stopped. Before he could catch his breath, a rapidly spinning nut flew towards his neck like a bullet.

Just as the nut was about to pierce Sun Jie Ke's neck, an iron hand suddenly reached out from the side. With a "clang" sound, the two collided and sparks flew out, and the nut was knocked far away.

Sun Jack looked in the direction of the metal arm and found that the robot he had just activated was blocking most of his left side with its metal body.

The robot slowly raised his metal head and looked into Sun Jack's eyes.

"Fuck, what a crappy name." The robot spoke.
