Chapter 1 Sun Jack

Chapter 1 Sun Jack

Low footsteps were heard in the darkness. When the footsteps slowly stopped, suddenly a ray of light broke through the darkness. The source of the light was a mobile phone.

The light from the phone illuminated a fairly handsome face, but he looked tired and haggard, and seemed to be in a bad mood.

"The fourth video starts at 3:51 pm." Sun Jack started recording.

"I still haven't found the exit. Everything here is surrounded by metal, even the floor and ceiling." Sun Jieke reached out and touched the wall next to him, feeling the special touch with his fingers. Cold, smooth, and hard.

Then he turned on the flashlight of his phone towards the metal wall, trying to capture as much of the silver-gray color of the metal wall as possible.

"These metal corridors are square in shape and connected to each other to form a huge metal maze. There are many metal walls and metal doors, most of which cannot be opened. I crawled out from the freezer in one of the rooms."

"I don't know where this is. I've never seen this place before, and I haven't even seen it online. I can't find any information here."

"I don't know how I was sent here. My memory is broken. My memory stops at the summer after the college entrance examination."

"My memories before that, my dog, my parents, every game I played, I remember all these things clearly, but after that, they are all gone."

"Something must have happened later, which led to me being stuffed into the freezer and sent to this place, but I have no memory of what happened!" Sun Jieke's tone became anxious when he said this. He took a breath and continued to speak.

"The time on the phone in my pocket is 2030. If this time is true, it means that I may have lost five years of memory."

"What on earth has happened in the past five years? Where on earth am I?"

At this moment, with a beep, a message appeared on the phone screen: "Battery is too low, flash cannot be used."

Sun Jie Ke knew that he could not waste any more time. No matter what had happened before, he had to escape from here first. If he was trapped and died here, everything that had happened before would be meaningless.

Sun Jie Ke pursed his lips, perked up and continued talking on the phone: "Didn't I just say that there are some metal doors on the metal walls? The strange thing is that some doors are not just hung on the walls, there are also doors on the ceiling and the floor, and in one of the doors, I heard some movement, some unusual movement, I will go over to take a look now."

Having said this, he walked towards the left, feeling the cold metal wall. A minute later, he stopped and looked up, holding up his cell phone and pointing it at the dark door above his head.

"Can you hear it? There's a sound coming from the door in the ceiling. A very tiny dripping sound. It sounds like it's coming from far away."

"My phone's battery is running low. I'll go in first." Sun Jack said as he exited the recording mode.

After roughly estimating the height, Sun Jack slowly stepped back a few steps, jumped with all his strength, and hooked his four fingers tightly on the edge of the door frame.

Finally, Sun Jack used all his strength, his hands and feet, and finally crawled into the door.

When he stepped on the door frame, raised his head and tilted his neck, shining the light of his mobile phone into the room, he found that it was full of various high-precision mechanical equipment that he could not understand, and many of the outer shells had fallen off.

Weird-looking robotic arms stretched out from the walls on both sides like branches, like a metal forest. At the end of the upper robotic arm, another new door appeared right above Sun Jack's head. The dripping sound came from the deepest part.

"Why is this place so weird? Where is this?" Sun Jieke stepped on the mechanical arm and climbed up carefully. When Sun Jieke climbed into the door, he finally found the source of the tiny dripping sound. It was a small red dot, which flickered with the dripping sound, like a computer prompt signal on standby.

When Sun Jack used the flashlight on his mobile phone to illuminate the area around the red dot, he discovered that the place was actually an arc-shaped arched room with nothing in it except a few chairs.

Sun Jieke turned on the video mode again and aimed at the red dot. "Look, there seems to be a screen on this red dot. I will record everything that happens next in my phone. If I lose my memory again for some unknown reason, these records will be my--"

Just as Sun Jieke said this, the slightly hot phone screen suddenly went black, and then the logo of his phone brand popped up, "It ran out of battery at the critical moment! Damn it! What a crappy phone!"

Sun Jack, who was extremely annoyed, stuffed his cell phone into the pocket of his left trouser leg, looked at the red dot in front of him and took a deep breath. He knew he had no choice.

He was now afraid that something bad would happen if he touched the red dot, but he was also afraid that nothing would happen if he touched it.

Because this is his only choice. He has already searched everywhere else. If this red dot does not respond, he will be completely trapped in this metal maze.

After closing his eyes to calm himself down for a while, Sun Jack held his breath and poked the red dot with his finger.

When Sun Jack saw the red dot go out and completely merge into the surrounding darkness, his heart almost stopped beating.

But soon everything around began to tremble, and some kind of resonant buzzing sound came from under his feet.

The sudden changes around him made Sun Jack extremely nervous. He kept staring at the darkness around him, nervously watching for any possible changes.

However, nothing changed around him. The first thing to change was himself. As the red button was pressed, his feet gradually left the ground, and finally he flew directly into the air!

This strange change shocked Sun Jie Ke. What kind of world was he in? "I can fly? I can fly? Magic? Special abilities?"

But before Sun Jack could feel happy at all, accompanied by some muffled sound, a crack suddenly appeared in the wall of the arched room in front of Sun Jack, and extremely dazzling light shot in from the crack, illuminating everything in the room.

When Sun Jack, with his squinting eyes, barely adjusted to the strong light, he saw the arched wall sliding backwards to the left and right with the crack as the center.

And when the wall suddenly opened completely, a huge planet occupied his entire sight.

Sun Jie Ke felt his heart beating violently, his throat seemed to be tightened, and every breath made him feel suffocated.

Planet, this very common concept, can only be felt its heaviness when it really appears before our eyes.

The light from the stars illuminated one side of the planet, while the other side, which was hidden in darkness, was like the mouth of an abyss, making Sun Jack feel as if he was being stared at by a giant beast in the sky.

Sun Jack suddenly remembered something. He looked down at his floating feet, then looked up at the huge planet outside the glass.

"Oh my god! I've been in outer space this whole time?!"
